What critical hit? Only smoky has that. It's already hard enough to get lock-ons. Adding +33% will make this unusable.

Have some disagreement on the OverDrive comments. It creates more unbalance in a battle. OD gets generated by scoring points (plus time). The team currently winning is more than likely scoring more points. That means they will get overdrive faster. Then winning team shares OD and they can score even more points. It becomes a loop. So the "losing team" gets killed more often and does not generate OD often - you can't really generate OD efficiently when you are dying. OverDrive helps the "winning" team way more than the losing team = greater separation.

When you say efforts are wasted unless you win does that mean "unless you place first"? The finish top-3 winning team hurts the battle-balancing. Anyone with those missions will not join the losing team. Over holidays there are more blow-outs because losing team does not gain tankers. There's already very little incentive to join the losing side. These missions just make it worse. Tanki's long-term goal should be more balanced battles. Can't win them all obviously, but if battles are not close more players will quit the game.

Ohhhhh.... well then.... Keep upgrading freeze & hornet as you can - they both get decent bumps by m3. M2 smky has later unlock but is great m2. Unfortunately I found it loses some luster at m3+ M3 kits at Lieut General... look for a kit with Viking or Hunter depending on if you prefer speed or stability. Ricco m2 might seem under-powered (early unlock), but if you start MU-ing it gets better toward m3. Your decision is to buy Ricco m2 and upgrade, or MU what you have and save for m3 kit with viking and mid-range turret.

Yup. Spent 160k on 1 MU each for 10 different items. 160k does not go very far :(

on my lower account at Wo3, my m1 freeze/hornet kills isidas all the time. If you can drive and turn your turret it is no problem to start freezing and circling them - even when meeting head on. If I start off at side (or behind) they have no chance. Twins with supplies on don't need an isida. Since they have no re-load they get 100% use from DD. It's ug-ly.

So those are M1s on their way to m2... 2 hulls and 2 turrets? And you have 20k cry... A bit of a pickle... Northerner (a good kit) unlocks at Captain (I believe) and costs ~ 193k - so you will be hard-pressed to get that at unlock. If you go for 3 m2 turrets & 3 m2 hulls you will be hard-pressed to buy an m3 kit for early unlock. Your path will then be using those 3 sets of M2s and either upgrading them or saving for m3s at Marshal and on sale. Smky is good m2 but costs a lot. People have complained about Vulcan but is cheap. Ricco prob somewhere in between.

Freeze is fine with hornet - especially at m1. That combo is weakest at m2 - as the freeze gets a lousy 9% (NINE-PECENT :lol: ) boost from m1 to m2. And hornet m2 is considered weak - especially in relation to wasp at m2. You definitely should consider getting Viking m2 when unlocked (or through kit). Hornet too weak, Mammoth too slow. Consider a mid-range weapon if you already have shaft and freeze. Smoky (arguably the best M2 turret) or Ricco are good choices. The Northerner Kit with Vik and Smky is decent.

I agree. Not worth alt at all. Some turrets really made out like bandits while others have been ignored. It's weird...

Thing is Holiday events are supposed to increase the fun factor. The mosh-pit that silly holiday map has become is not fun for everyone. If you have Titan Twins or Titan Hammer -sure. Many others - not so much. And many players don't like DM generally - regardless of map. So a holiday event that features just 1 map and 1 of 4 battler-modes is ... .... .... meh.

With up to 10 tankers per team that's ~ 10% chance - assuming your team-mates not many levels above you. So it's more than "at least a little effort". And many just switched that mission anyway - so Devs removed something that was just being switched by default. You fail to recognize that daily missions were meant to entice players to play daily. Not attempt over days - which can happen once you play regularly in Legendary ranks.

Is the clarification still to come? Or was it posted in a different thread? FYI... having ALL missions replaced by triple-difficult missions was not a good move. Having one of those missions (which we can switch out) would be fine. But having ALL like that? No thanks. There's almost no point in me claiming those daily as they will be replaced by something just as (or more) difficult.

The point was replacing daily missions with something that takes 3x as long means there's a good chance people just won't bother with them. And the Frosty contest "option" is basically a boring wasp-fire event. Sure a bunch of people will spend a LOT of time over the next week trying to accomplish that. And good for them. But for many, we just don't have that much time to devote to a game. Completing a couple simple missions/day for 1/2 hour was enough to complete the mission chain over a week. This week - not the same.

All the kits are divided up into rotations. Only 1 rotation at a time appears in the garage. There's something like 5 or 6 rotations. So list all the kits you might see and divide by 5. So normally you might see 5 kits, but because of the rotations only 1 kit is available to you at this time.

LW is saying that with normal missions he would complete the missions every day and get those rewards. Then at end of week he would collect the larger bonus for more rewards. But because of the way Devs have messed up the daily missions by making them 3x as hard for basically the same reward - those daily missions are no longer worth the time it will take to do them. Players are being "discouraged" from completing the missions. So net effect is that there will be ~ 1 less week of collecting rewards since many people may not complete the chain over the week. FYI... those rewards given for missions last night were not "x3 rewards". They were mediocre at best. I've seen way better rewards almost every day for months compared to what the system gave me last night.

- sales are fine - but - they can happen any time of the year - so not really X-mas special are they? - You are completely wrong on the "special missions" - why do you think they suspended the mission chains - because no one wants to waste their time collecting 20 DA for a reward of 12 speed boosts. Or 6 flags for 1 RK and 6 DA - will spend more from garage than you get back. - 400 kills not nearly as easy as you make it sound. Sure those with OP equipment for their rank might get it done fast. All others - not so much. - Rank limits still need adjusting. No one should be playing 5-6 ranks above them - and that goes for WOs as well. Your equipment needs to be "good enough" to play with your peers. Those 6 ranks above are not your peers. I may be Legend now, but most of my opponents seem to be legend 5/10/15/20 - even saw a L50 other night. Garages vastly superior. - they have "spent weeks planning this celebration" but it seems they should have spent months planning. The product feels like they actually spent days planning it. You have really, really low standards. Many tankers are just waiting for the sales to kick in. The map is lame - and only DM. Get ready to spend half your supplies playing on it. The missions are completely messed up - that's why the mission chains are suspended.

The missions certainly are harder - 2-3 times as difficult. But there's no way the reward went up. Same junk as before.

Fix the MAGNUM Glitch!!! All Magnums have rapid-fire and are devastating all tanks on the maps. :angry:

Devs/Mods better look into the DMs on holiday maps - Magnums hacking or glitching rapid fire and killing multiple tanks in seconds. Ruining the battle competely

A shaft can one-shot a medium hull without protection so the RK is useless - instant death. Magnum - well - when have you ever seen just one in a battle? ;)
