except for RKs I have > 5000 of each. I just prefer the game-play in Pro-battles. Not a fan of dying repeatedly - which happens a lot unless you automatically press DA. I just find more tactics are involved when you survive longer in the no-supply battles. But I agree mults are everywhere... and my Viking/Isida are currently ~ 13/20... slowly getting there.
-
This is what currently keeps me playing Normal Battles on this account. Otherwise it would be Pro-Battles no-supplies most of the time.
-
I kinda liked having some easy daily missions - in case I'm not playing much on a particular day. If we just get the harder holiday missions this might jeopardize the mission chain for casual gamers.
-
ok - 1st Serg... By 1st Serg my lower account had the following, without buying... smoky m0-3/10 Hunter m0-6/10 Blizzard Kit (Hornet m1, Freeze m1 + a module). - I did not buy anything else - just MU-ed the default equipment and then bought an m1 kit at unlock rank. So experience played a huge part in my having an m1 combo by 1st Serg because I did not waste crystals on items I knew I did not need. I had the crystals to buy a kit at unlock rank - where they are somewhat overpowered. That other account is your second one? Take the experiences from takedown203 and apply them to FoxGamer. And it sounds like your opponent had the Hooligan kit - smky m1 + hornet m1 + Eagle DA-m1 module.

It means if you have an empty slot a "Holiday Mission" will fill that slot. Unclaimed / In-process missions are safe. Ooops - late...
-
This may have confused some... "During New Year event all daily missions will be replaced with holiday missions, which are harder, but also have bigger rewards!" May have thought "replaced" existing missions as opposed to replacing new missions being assigned...
-
Yeah - the second CP would need to be on the lower Blue section near the tunnel - so defenders are spread out some.
-
Which account were you playing when this happened?
-
Save yourself some frustration and buy the module ;) If they don't nerf Magnum some in the next few months the Devs are nuts. Not sure you should buy the Viking. Viking is a bit faster than Hunter but - Hunter has better acceleration and is way more stable. I've had Viking since before the rebalance and I was furious they basically switched the stats. If I had a choice (OD aside) I'd seriously consider making that trade. Twins: when coupled with a heavy hull in close quarters it is almost unstoppable. And it get most value from supplies and OverDrive since the crazy turret NEVER.STOPS.FIRING  I suggest Module + Twins. Alternatively Twins + Titan (as they go well together).
-
Why are people "bad" just because they disagree with you. Desty is correct. Against Rail you can get full value from the RK. Against rapid fire weapons (Twins, Fire, Freeze, Isida, Vulcan) not so much; any damage disrupts the secondary-ongoing repairs.
-
I get a laugh every time I see this. What did it sat=y before the revision on 17 Dec?
-
If you already have Viking you don't need another medium Hull. Not worth the expense for the few extra gold you might get. Put MU-s into your Viking - it gets really good toward M2. And consider Hornet m1 if you like large maps. Thunder+Hammer+(Ricco) should be all the M1 turrets you buy. 4 M1 turrets is a bit overkill. Can't help you on the m1 hammer alt, but I hear the m2 alt (high capacity drum) is good.
-
So you have Thunder m1, Hammer m1 and Viking m1. Any other m1s in your garage? Hammer & Twins fill a similar need so you likely don't need Twins. Getting a 3rd turret may be overkill unless you have lots of extra crystals.
-
Shaft does have a fixed damage - and it remains constant with range as well. You just need to do a full charge-up. The wiki shows a "range" of damage because of the variable charge-up. There's no way all those shafts one-shotting my Viking are just getting lucky. They are fully charged.
-
Smoky, Fire Twins all unlock later than Thunder - because they all gain a decent boost in power from m1 -> m2. >= 20%. Thunder gets a meh boost of ~ 11%. It's ok, but nothing special in terms of raw power. You should get enough supplies from missions and weekly mission bonus - especially at the current x3. Better off saving/buying for another m2 turret (mid-long-range) and/or MU-ing Stinger some. Keep MU-ing it if you like Isida as the jump to M3 is one of the better upgrades.

It may be "tempting" to try for a lock-on salvo but - it rarely works - for reasons described. And even IF a lock-on is managed the tanks (all on speed these days) often manage to avoid 1-2 of the 4 missiles. Striker has very limited use in today's Tanki.
-
I would recommend the Ricco MFS alteration as well. Makes the turret way more flexible.
-
There's a reason you see way more Thunders than Vulcan's in most battles. Because Thunder is more effective. People buy the turret that does well and earns exp/and/or/kills. You don't see many people buying Vulcan or Striker because currently they are not that effective. My W02 account will buck the trend and buy Vesuvius kit just to try something different. If i don't like - oh well - not end of the world...
-
Hold on... didn't you say the following in the 'Complaint Book' thread? "i don't even use overdrive most of the time because i believe that people who can't win without overdrive don't deserve to win"
-
Don't get me wrong - I'm one of Strikers biggest critics - in most cases I think it is trash. However, on Silence Blue (Assault) it can perform well. Camp on right side at top of ramp with heavy hull and shaft/magnum protection. Lay some mines on ramp. You have a great view of all those long-range enemies plus the spawning area where flag would be. You need to use a lot of single shots but believe it or not, many of those Magnums on far side stay still long enough for a lock. Plus - anyone coming up the ramp you will get off a salvo too. Of course it helps that there's usually at least one isida healing you since that is one of only two ways to cap a flag.

Should tanki add back crystal boxes in battles?

I didn't misunderstand what you said - that's what you typed. Stick to DM since you don't seem to understand team play... "I play for myself in battles regardless of the outcome." -
Query to Devs... Does OD re-set to 0% if you stay in same battle when battle ends and you switch from Blue to Red? Example... OD at 90% when battle ends playing Blue. Click "stay in battle" button and switch to Red. At start of next battle is your OverDrive supposed to re-set to 0%. Seems like some instances players have OverDrive within 30 seconds of battle starting - way too early. So did their OD % carry over from last battle?
-
Pretty much. multiples of... magnum isida rail thunder ricco / twins and then the rest... with vulcan 2nd-last and striker dead last

You seem confused. How is not shooting at tanks sabotage? An isida-wasp can cap 10 flags, never fire a shot and help win the battle. Or the isida-wasp can join a TDM, keep many mates alive long past their due-date and not damage one enemy. On the other hand... Comparing OverDrive to supplies is invalid. Supplies are from your garage - they cost "something", whether they came as reward instead of crystals or you actually paid for them. OverDrive on the other other hand becomes available within the battle for free and costs you absolutely nothing to use. When you refuse to use an in-battle feature that could help your team you are becoming a mult. Go play DM where there's no team-mates you can help disadvantage. -
You are correct. I've been too busy trying to master the English language. ;)
