  2. Is this bugged on mobile? I've shot 37 Icicles and only 8 of them actually dealt damage to an enemy. Sometimes a direct hit only gives me 1,000 damage instead of 4,000. The ones that do end up doing damage have an even longer delay between explosion and damage than before. I even had an icicle that bounced twice in mid-air right in front of me, even without any walls nearby, and went flew the sky.

    What augment are you using? There are vertical Magnums and horizontal Magnums. Horizontal Magnums are locked at a specific angle but can rotate horizontally. Vertical Magnums cannot rotate horizontally but can freely change the angle.   4. Usually the players with very low ping won't have or notice the bug. There is also the bug that resets your lock-on progress randomly. From what I saw, those two bugs are intertwined when using the Hacked Aiming Processor augment. The same time that my progress would be reset to 0 is the same time the lock-on would be cancelled entirely if my aim is off of the target. As such, the Hacked Aiming Processor augment does not work for me and I assume Nemesis would also be a giant headache for me to use.
  5. Yes this is a bug that has existed for about 2 and a half years. It has not been fixed yet. The intensity of the bug varies from player to player. Some won't have the bug at all. Some will have it so severe that it is a headache to use the turret.

    I'm surprised they haven't given it any offensive properties yet, like Jammer or 100 chaos damage per second to any enemy within the dome.

    Blaster has splash damage parameters. It deals 3,000 damage between 0-3m. The blast radius starts at the epicentre of the hull (usually where the turret mount is) so to get full damage you'd usually have to be touching the enemy tank on the server during the exact moment of explosion. It very quickly goes down to 50% damage between 3-4m, and extends towards 15m. A Blaster user will most often be doing 50% damage of the total damage.

    Chaos damage as an official term didn't exist before mid 2022. Blaster drone between 2018 and mid-2022 dealt the damage of whatever turret you were using. This damage was enhanceable (Boosted Damage) and armour and turret modules would decrease the damage at this time. Crusader between 2020-mid 2022 had enhanceable damage but no module could reduce its damage, only armour (Defender/Crisis reduced it further than Brutus) Wasp, Ares and Mammoth would be examples of chaos damage before the term was coined. Their damage was not enhanceable nor reduceable by armour or modules. The only thing that used to decrease Wasp's damage was Titan's dome but that was removed in 2021 if I'm remembering correctly. Chaos damage as it is now refers to damage that cannot be increased or reduced by external factors. It deals the same damage every time. Grenades deal chaos damage and Opex said in a Vlog that grenades won't have modules against them.

    Blaster dealt turret damage between 2018-mid 2022. It was changed to chaos damage in 2022.

    Tbf he does have a point with the hover hulls. Most of the people I see using Resonator are with hover hulls and Viking. I've taken all the hover hull nerfs in stride over the years but it would be disingenuous of me to ignore that if I had to rearpull a number, ~70% of sweaty group members I've been fighting since Paladin's release have been using hover hulls.

    It's likely that there were patches that came these past weeks but from what I was told a long time ago they don't make public patch notes for changes they don't consider major, you'll see it at times with skipped numbers. We'll see next week if there were numbers skipped or not. I'm of the opinion all changes should be documented regardless of how minor they are.

    Yes it is worth using. Alongside changing your damage and firing rate numbers (it's still the same 800 DPS as Stock), you get instant wind-up and wind-down of your Vulcan allowing for infinite fire. You can also use Reinforced Aiming Transmission if you want but with the current iteration of Vulcan balance, it's a mechanically unneeded augment. The Stock rotation speed is already fast enough and you likely wouldn't want to reduced your upward auto-aim from 45° to 9°.
  15. That sounds like gatekeeping entire events away from the majority of the playerbase to satisfy the few at the top of the ladder. Island hopping events aren't the only place to spend crystals. You have other events, you have new equipment in the form of grenades and whatever else new they decide to bring out while the majority of the playerbase does not have that luxury to just spend on whatever they want, whenever they want. They are still progressing, still building their garage at different stages because they joined/played the game at different time periods with different restrictions.
  16. Fairly priced for whom? The casual f2ps being slaughtered by overtuned turret, drones and hull augment combinations in groups or the long time f2ps and buyers who've already climbed up the ladder over the years? Did it really take just 8 months to forget that these events were free to start? A discounted silver contract available for 24 hours every day is a good middle ground between before and the current Contracts system. Perhaps they can decrease the overall rewards from Checkpoint 2-3 the increase the reward gap between that and Checkpoint 4 for the people who decide to push further with currency. That is much better than a random player paying 500k crystals for something they got for free not long ago.

    I for one do not like seeing sudden damage inflation as blatant as Plasma Resonator. Especially after Stock Ricochet itself received range nerfs and then projectile nerfs, the former of which Resonator ignores. It doesn't sit right that a normal Ricochet is hitting 87 damage where a Resonator is hitting 1,050 with the same firing rate, projectile speed and energy parameters. And I REALLY hope the auto-aim issues aren't a justification for that damage inflation. It being straight from 8,000 Tankoins Advent Calendar I expected it to be overtuned. I just hope it isn't overtuned for too long. That and I hope the other Ricochets get their due buffs to not feel like you're being shafted for not picking up Resonator. At least the situation isn't like current Tesla where using anything besides Electroturret is a nightmare.

    I already explained Blaster to you. The heavier your hull category is the more damage it will do. A light hull is easy to get near an enemy for the explosion but will deal relatively low blast damage. A heavy hull is harder to intentionally get near the enemy but will deal relatively high blast damage. As for the gamepad update, you will have to contend with it for hovering hulls until further notice.
  20. Bronze Contracts are perpetual. When you complete one, you get 2 Gingerbread + another Bronze Contract. If you don't see it after completion, reload the game.
  21. Another island hopping event where it's the criminally overpriced April 2024 Cosmonautics Day Minigame under the guise of the Cybertanks model. The scaling is absurd. You don't even get halfway into the first lap with the free gingerbreads from the 100 kills missions. 990 Rubies gets you 5 moves instead of 10 from Cybertanks. No more +2s and +3s so you have to hit all the traps. Silver Contracts are still criminally overpriced at 50,000 crystals per contract with the same 3,000 reputation points requirements, right after an awaited 50% garage sale might I add. If you're not doing it with Rubies, you're paying half a million crystals JUST to get to the second checkpoint. All for what, a few epic keys and common keys that aren't going to be giving you anything substantial. Onto the 3rd Checkpoint, an actually good reward in the form of the Revolver augment. Oh well if you're so adamant about doing it without Rubies, that's another million crystals there. How many players have that lying around especially after a long awaited 50% sale? Don't even get me started on the Bronze Contracts. What the hell is the purpose of those? To trick you into thinking the Silver and Gold Contracts are fairly priced? Their addition makes no sense. The people who would really need it would be able to gain 50,000 crystals for silver contracts anyway. You cannot actually expect a random player to be using those for actual progress. Especially considering that for a large part of the duration of the event, MM lobbies can easily look like this: So again, WHO are these island hopping minigames for? It absolutely is not catered for the entire playerbase like it was 2 years ago. A system where a free player gets to Checkpoint 3 if they put in the intended amount of work (daily missions), and Checkpoint 4 if they had good luck throughout, while also gaining Tankoins to use elsewhere in the game. Now you have to PAY a high fee just to finish the Checkpoint 2 which hardly gives anything. Forget the Tanki Funds. If there's an event template that has been buried into the ground at a rapid rate over the years, it has to be these island hopping ones.

    New Year Remastered is so bright I can barely see anything on my phone's screen when playing the DM mode. I'm dying but if it's not a Firebird or Freeze, I can hardly tell what is killing me. The same people using the same overtuned turret and hull augments that ruin the experience for the people at the bottom. People without those overtuned augments may have to face a ton of protection modules against the turret. It being a Remaster map makes it more likely for me to get a screen freeze and for the game to hang for 5+ minutes, making me have to manually restart my device, assuming the device doesn't restart itself. This mode with the Salyut grenades is exactly what I had initially feared about the release of the Bomb grenades. I feared that it would be a case where I would barely be able to get value out of grenade throws due to how inconvenient they are to press on the screen and no way to actually aim to like PC can with it's multiple inputs at once. Thankfully for the Bomb grenades that isn't the case and I get reasonable value from them. But this mode I can't even make use of the grenades because I'm stuck on hover hulls because tracked hulls firstly require too much effort for the reward from me and secondly their maneuvering with the joystick was downgraded in the transition to HTML5 making it even harder for me to control them. I wanted to enjoy this event mode but the game wouldn't let me, a running theme throughout 2024 for me in Tanki.

    Like I said, you are using a status Tesla. Status Teslas can no longer make use of ball lightnings to extend their chain lightning range. If you would like to be able to use ball lightnings to extend your chain lightning range, use the following augments until further notice: Adrenaline Minus-Field Acceleration Protocol Dilatory Protocol Jamming Discharge

    You are using EMP Tesla, i.e a Status Tesla. In the rework Tesla received on November 22nd, Status Teslas had their range to connect subsequent targets to a ball lightning reduced to 1m, effectively removing your ability to utilise ball lightnings to increase your range. If you want to hit people with your status Tesla, you must hit them from turret to target. Do not shoot at any ball lightnings when you're using a status Tesla. What you can do is send out ball lightnings randomly across the map but no not interact with them.

    You recorded a video for a bug recently. Can you record one for this so we have a proper idea of what you're speaking about? From the video you posted yesterday, you're using Hornet with Blaster. Blaster's damage now depends on the weight category of the hull it's on. Light hulls deal 2,000 - 1,000 damage. Medium hulls deal 3,000 - 1,500 damage. Heavy hulls deal 4,000 - 2,000 damage. This change was made about 4 months ago. The gamepad update changed the way hover hulls with keyboard maneuver with the keyboard inputs.
