    Let's Discuss Shaft!

    It's a significant drawback if you and your enemy are on equal terms (no supplies enabled or all supplies enabled). You can still one-shot any hull that is unprotected. Smart cooldowns for double armour lasts for 30 seconds. Shaft protection is rare (but seems to be on the rise). You don't see much players using heavy hulls compared to light and medium hulls. So even if they have protection, an M3 Light Capacitors Shaft would still be able to one-shot an M3 Viking with 35% protection. I believe that all of the turrets are made to be powerful when no one is using protection against it in a battle. I also believe that particular turrets don't do as well as others when confronted with protection modules. Shaft does well because not many players have protection against it. I wouldn't say that it's rare anymore; it's more like other turrets are worth protecting yourself from more than Shaft. How exactly do you think Light Capacitors would fare against 4 enemies on the enemy team with protection against it? I had that battle and I forced myself to stay Light Capacitors to see how I would do instead of switching to Assault Emitters. I was still ale to do well but not as well as I would have if they didn't have protection. While it may be tough to do, you have to trust the devs sometimes because they've tested the alterations (I really hope so) before they released it. They saw its pros and its cons. They saw how it would be able to dominate and how it would be able to do poorly. They saw the many interactions with protections, hulls and other turrets. Keep in mind that that 30% damage decrease also incorporated a 10% damage increase before it. I do admit it needs to be buffed but the only thing I think it needs is a sniper shot reload by only 1 second. That would make up for the decreased damage.

    Well 160k crystals is a lot to fork out for an alteration. They are most likely either waiting for the sale or they just don't know about the effectiveness of it because of inaccurate information on the Wiki that they just like Compact tanks and would prefer not to use anything else because it's "so powerful". Compact Tanks makes sense as a mechanic but it just seems so unfair that it's basically a delayed death. A Stock Firebird can die after shooting you for 1 second and you'd survive. It's not the same for Compact Tanks. Why should it be a guaranteed death? It's bad enough that the heating rate is increased, they increased the maximum temperature limit which means that an M2 Firebird becomes an M4 Firebird in terms of after burn damage. I just don't see why the devs don't say something about Incendiary Mix. It's clearly OP and not representive of what is stated in the Wiki. I'm wondering if that is happening because they wouldn't have to explain the misinformation because it doesn't state the exact increase in damage anywhere in the alteration's description. We rely on the Wiki for the statistics now; and if the Wiki is wrong, well...that's our problem apparently. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    They said that something was going to shoot out of that hole it has in the front and that it would go through props and buildings. I'm not too keen on the remembrance of that last pat but they did say that something was coming out of that hole.

    It already takes just above two seconds to fully charge. Increasing the energy consumption by 100% would not make too much of a difference. A lot of times, I would fully charge up and wait more than 3 seconds for the/an enemy to pop up. I agree that it should have a decreased reload time after a shot.

    Players using alterations not normally seen in the high-ranks. I also saw an M3 Rail + Mammoth using the Reinforced Aiming Transmission alteration in a Rio DM. He came third to last with 5 kills and 14 deaths though.

    I'm not sure if this is intended or not but I found it nonetheless. So I was playing Assault with Viking M1 because I had a capture flags missions and it was on Brest so I wasn't going to test my patience by using Mammoth there. With the decrease of the extra damage with the Overdrive and Viking's relative instability, I know that Vulcan with that Overdrive isn't going to be very effective. It's too easy for your aim to be interrupted. I held out my Overdrive until I was able to get a few more enemies. To stop this annoying Wasp + Hammer from trying to kill me, I was able to make it up to the rank in the blue base. I activated the Overdrive. With double damage, the most damage I did was 310 but the numbers usually vary in size for Vulcan for some reason. I killed three people with it. With that, I thought it may have been able to compete with other short-range and mid-range turrets with their Overdrives as well. On the second time using it, I had depleted about 90% of my energy. I activated the Overdrive expecting my energy to be replenished and infinite during the Overdrive but I was actually doing the 75% less damage. Another flaw Vulcan has, even with a power enhancement.

    Juggernaut Overdrives count towards the mission quota? And no, 2 kills don't equal an Overdrive anymore. I was actually supposed to tell you this maybe a week ago but I didn't. The amount of charge you get for a kill is not what is stated by you in your Overdrive article. It looks like a kill gives you 8% and an assist still looks like 5%. For Juggernaut, I expected to get an Overdrive every two kills but I needed three kills back-to-back kills from 0% and a few seconds for my Overdrive to charge to 100%.

    That's about 12 hours per day, assuming that all battled didn't end early which is probably impossible given MM's balancing and maximum upgrade drones.

    Well you did say ,"The new hull should have an overdrive that destorys all players". That in itself may mean all enemy targets. But then you went on to say, "except the player that activates the destruct bomb". That extension implies that all players on the battlefield sans yourself are destroyed. The wording could have been a bit better. That idea can be a good one but it seems too akin to Wasp's Overdrive. Plus, I don't think players should have the power to instantly destroy any hull at a moment's notice without even shooting them. If this hull is on the red team in Assault, then the blue team is at risk even if the Titan puts down a dome. This may also make players mad because they could just go up to the gold when it's just about to hit the ground and destroy everyone around it, even the Wasps that would jump from above. So such a concept may not be wise to implement.

    Couldn't find an appropriate topic to put this in so I put it here. One thing I cherish is that some players are actually not hostile when the time is right. I queued into Juggernaut on the Test Server and I was the only one there for 1 minute. About 15 seconds into the battle, a gold box dropped. When the minute was up, there was a small influx of players joining. One of them was test_GT. I made sure to appear non-hostile while rocking my tank back and forth next to the gold box. He then went to the ramp next to it. The Test Server really is a nice place to relax with non-hostile tankers in MM battles. I'm just glad that everyone felt the same way and no one had an insatiable desire to ruin any good thing they see. This truly does put a smile on my face.

    Yeah but what if there is a massive push going into the blue team's Assault base and before they could capture, you kill everyone on the map so only you get to cap a flag when you may have needed 2 caps to win. IF you give the power to kill everyone on the map (including teammates), it is bound to be abused. It may seem like a nice idea but that is too much power to give the average player of Tanki these days. Because they can activate it at any time, they can purposefully kill thier teammates when they're about to cap Assault flags or capturing important CP points on the other side of the map. Remember, they said it was a heavy hull. It's not going to get to the other side of the map like a Wasp you know. It can also create a lot of disequilibrium in whatever teamwork we have left in battles these days. Players with capture xxx flags missions can just activate their Overdrive when their teammate is about to capture a flag because why not? It's an easy capture for you. Sure, you're killing all of the enemies too, but what about if your team is dominating and spawnkilling the enemy team. You decide to use your Overdrive and wipe out your entire team. Probably four enemy players who may have been alive then would die but the other 4 would be respawning and be immune to the instant death. It's 4 against 1 now. What are you going to do about that? It's unlikely that you would catch all 8 players alive in the chaos of most MM maps. This Overdrive would be too easily abusable. Too much power is going into a player's hands. I do like the idea of a "Total Reset" of the players int he battle but this just wouldn't work. No one would want the looming anxiety that they and their entire team can be killed by their teammate at any second. You surely wouldn't want that, would you. Try to think over this Overdrive idea. If you want to stick with this idea, how fast would the Overdrive charge? Whether frequent like Hunter's or infrequent like Viking's, this can spoile CTF stalemates unless you are there in the enemy base yourself ready to pick up a flag. MY gosh, what if you kill all the players and then someone else took up the flag that dropped form the player who had a capture xxx flags mission? Man, they would be so pissed. People don't want that kind of anxiety in battles. I hope this wasn't a wall-of-text to you. I'm just trying to pinpoint how this can be abused.

    Ok, I decided to have some battles with my M1 Hornet + Light Capacitors before I made my decision on whether or not to buy M2 Hornet. Well, I have to say that it is a lot of fun being swift while using Shaft. I got a 16 kill streak from the start of the battle. I could have died twice over before that but nooooo, the Destabilisation Railguns must use double damage when a Shaft laser is pointing at their almost materialised tank. I was quite surprised he didn't use double armour. Not a smart player at all. I even had this gem in a Wolfenstein battle. While this doesn't really concern Light Capacitors since I could have achieved exactly what I did here with Stock Shaft but it does highlight Hornet's effectiveness. If I remember correctly, III_TOSTER_III dropped maybe 7 golds in that battle. I caught the first one he dropped. That particular picture happened when the 7th one was dropped.

    I tested the change to the Camper Drone. Tanki needs to revert those changes NOW. At 20/20 upgrades, if you're at full health, all of your supplies reload in 5 seconds. You can plant a mine every 5 seconds. Your repair kit becomes available in 5 seconds. Your double armour, damage and speed boost become available in 5 seconds. That is complete madness. You can be immortal with that. Before the change, it took 15 seconds instead of 30 seconds to recharge your supplies. 5 seconds is way too little. You wouldn't need to worry about dying because you can use a repair kit, wait 5 seconds, and then peek-a-boo again because you already have a repair kit waiting to be used at the right time. You wouldn't have to worry about the enhancement supplies because they recharge in 5 seconds which is enough to survey your surroundings and then engage once again is that short space of time. It is too overpowered and needs to be removed. Sure, you would only get that kind of use out of it at the Legend rank but you can attain what it used to be at 10/10 upgrades now. If you're accustomed that, you wouldn't need the extra upgrades.

    I'm pretty sure you have to die at least once for a K/D to even happen. I don't think you would complete the mission if you had 1 kill and 0 deaths.

    Yes, Incendiary Mix is strong and its effects are not accurately represented on the Wiki pages. It pains me every time I see one in battle doing insane damage and the Wiki page on both the EN and RU Wikis still say "+10% Damage". Compact Tanks is useful because you have enough energy to finish off a heavy hull. It's also helps because the afterburn damage is very high and just one second of that flame before you kill them could cost you your life if you don't have protection. It's just more effective. The idea for the alteration makes sense but I really don't like that you could've shot someone for less than a second and be able to kill them some time after. You can still do that with the decreased heating rate but before the nerf, it was too effective.

    How about just removing the impact force increase from Stable Plasma? Stock Twins' impact force is already high enough but that should be a start. With Minus-Field, they could probably decrease the maximum range extension and increase the reload time penalty. The problem I see with that is that if Minus-Field Stabilisation's effects is changed, then Plasma-Core Accelerators' effects would also have to be changed for consistency. How about seeing Twins for how it should be? I see it as it should be Twins with splash damage (Stock Twins) being the most popular Twins. Players didn't like that they had to buy an alteration just to use Twins the way it was before the splash damaged addition to it. It's clear that they get more score for Stable Plasma Twins than Stock Twins. They buffed Twins' splash damage range and all and they still aren't using it. You have to look at it from the angle of the Stock Turret. If the Stock turret has splash damage and the altered turret has no splash damage, then look at it just like that. See how it plays relative to the Stock turret. Splash damage can be a great asset for Twins. It's just that you don't find many situations where Stock Twins can prevail in MM.

    I had a Juggernaut battle earlier where I counted 10 Wasps.
