    I mean I guess this could work. But for the best possible outcome to happen here, the following have to occur: • Remove the mono paints. This would bring it down to 39 tiers. • increase the total number of UCs to 45 and condense them to take up only 3 spaces max. This would bring the fund down to 29 tiers. • get rid of the 2 extra module slots. 1 module slot per fund is enough. This would bring the fund down to 27 tiers. • we don't really need the +1mln tankoins to fund, so that can go. The fund would go down to 22 tiers. • you could also make the 105 normal containers only take up 3 spaces (making each tier container 35 containers) thus freeing up 4 spaces. This would bring the fund down to 18 tiers. Now you'll have 2 spaces that don't have a reward.

    I mean the complaints are valid. The majority don't want tanki fund event to be removed. But the rewards need to be worth investing. Some of us are even trying to give out ideas to improve the next fund they hold. It'd be very unfortunate if they stopped doing the funds just because they didn't want to act reasonable player feedback. 1 module slot per fund is enough. Any other reward would be better than 2 extra module slots. I honestly don't care how many skins or augments the fund has, but if there's alot of them, make sure there's variety. Don't make alot of them be the same kind. Again, who cares how many paints there are? If there is alot of paints, make sure there's variety and not just the same kind. I honestly don't mind this.
  4. I don't know about you, but I have actually played tanki X a few times before they shut the project down. Every time I did, the first two battles were alright, but then I was put in battles where the enemy could nullify my damage, one shot me easily, even though I had my supplies activated. I don't remember what else, but they had alot of abilities that I couldn't even access because I wasn't at the appropriate rank. And because their strength was far superior than mine. So I went back to tanki where it didn't put me through that. If we removed ranks and upgrades and made everything (augments, drones, protection modules, supplies) available to everyone from the start, then this skill based system might work. However it'll never happen. I would love to get your 10k GS players. Alot of the ones I get are tryhards who just use crisis and certain augments.

    That's not the right attitude to go about things. If this kind of thing continues to happen, less and less players will buy the bundles, resulting in one of 2 consequences: 1) the devs will put in better rewards with more variety (this would be the best outcome). OR 2) the devs will stop hosting funds altogether, and they'll just be another thing of the past (this is the more likely outcome).
  7. You're a 13 year old football player, you become so good at it that they move you up to the adult team. Now you get squashed because you are far less developed in terms of body and mind than the adults. That's what your skill based system nonsense will do. Want some proof? Look no further than tanki X.
  8. You're the one who keeps overhyping this skill based system nonsense. I'm just telling you either how it is or how it'll likely be in tanki. In any other game, sure it might work. In tanki, there are other factors to consider like ranks and GS, which you are gravely mistaken to think of as insignificant. Ranks give the player access to more things than the previous ranks, which can make them stronger. GS is the players strength. These two factors are easily the biggest ones that the MM should take into account. Not to mention its much easier basing it off them. Skill is not only a less contributing factor, but basing MM off it will be extremely difficult. How many battles have you seen that were carried by players because of their skill VS the ones that were carried because the player had a higher GS or rank? Speaking of bots, while it'd improve alot of things, it is unwise to put all your eggs in one basket.
  9. Then that would just be unlucky. Also its not like the losing team will stay very long, likely theyll be replaced by tougher players. Besides you think a recruit with a GS of 200 vs a legend with a GS of 9000 is fair just because they have the same skill level? I don't know about you but I'd rather have the reason of my team losing be that it was just a bad team than it being because we were just target practice for the enemy team.
  10. You only have 2 more years of experience than I do in the game, maybe 3 if you started at the very start of 2011. However I have 6 and a half years of experience on the forum, and during most of that time, I've seen alot of things. I know: • which things are acceptable to suggest and which you might as well not bother mentioning. • what the devs can and can't do, and what they will and won't do. • what reasonable players like myself like and dislike. • etc. And because I know these things, I can make predictions that will likely happen. For example: • The tanki esports fund we are having is pretty disappointing so not many will buy the bundles, resulting in the progress barely reaching the half way point. • The devs are planning to release a new item called keys to replace containers, and unless the devs buff the containers, I doubt the playerbase will be pleased. Worrying about the skill factor is like worrying about a fly when there's a tiger right in front of you that's about to pounce. Also just because your skill based idea isn't gonna work, doesn't mean that balancing MM is impossible nor does it mean that other ideas aren't gonna work.
  11. If it takes the devs around a year to introduce MM and this is the best they can do, then they would have been better off keeping what they had before. And I don't think the system before MM was as bad as you say. Only downside was that you could abuse it more, but that pales in comparison to the imbalanced battles that MM creates. We really shouldn't worry about the skill factor right now.

    Honestly, the pulsar, stun, ap, and emp augments shouldn't even exist. The only reason they exist is because some players made a poor decision to suggest such things and the devs basically said yes. At this point, you're better off just skipping this fund and wait for the next whenever it comes out. Hopefully it'll be much less disappointing.

This "skill based system" you keep advocating for is basically the perfect solution however it wont work due to a couple key factors: • There's not enough players in the game to make this work like you said. • The devs didn't do a very good job on the MM system even though they spent like a year making the thing. Its like they just blew it off until the last week and then just rushed it. If they couldn't do that, then think of how bad this skill based system will turn out. My ideas in balancing MM isn't perfect, but they are simple and should be quite effective. Also, what do you mean that this "wont make battles more fair"? Please elaborate! Provide examples if you need to.

    I seriously doubt that "EVERYONE" will complain about it. Maybe about 10% of the player base. Those were valid complaints. Why? Because it lacked variety.
  15. Then show us some videos of you doing it. Not my problem. Or anyone else's. ? I'm not the one who has his little feelings hurt when he sees a camper in battle. Nor am I the one who comes up with ridiculous suggestions just for the smallest of things. Also I play on weekends to complete the special missions. I only do daily missions if there's a challenge with the rewards I want. You on the other hand are only focused on daily missions. You aren't really getting much of anything, are you? Wow, you have completely missed the point. Again.

    They dont even need to make new augments for this. Just choose from the selection that already exists. Shouldnt take more than five minutes. Still better than mono paints by miles. ?
  23. I noticed that many of the MM maps can hold up to 20 or more players. If we reduce that number by 1/3 then the following will happen: • lagspikes becoming less frequent. • rank gaps being smaller. • smaller GS gaps. • probably shorter wait times.

    Receiving alot of skins in a fund isn't an issue, neither is whether or not they are repeated or if you already have them or not. The issue becomes apparent when there's a lack of variety. For example: the last fund gave 6 skins and half of them were legacy turrets. It should've been more like this for example: 1 GT combo 1 legacy combo 1 xt combo One module slot is enough per fund. The other two are just a waste of space and could've been used for better things. The last fund also had too many pulsars, which in itself was an issue. Should've been more like this: 1 pulsar 1 augment that inflicts 1 status effect 3 augments with interesting mechanics Also last fund was still better than this fund. 14 main prizes from 20 slots vs 6 main prizes from 50 slots. Last fund did only contain 30 ultra containers but it only took up 2 spaces where as this funds 39 ultra containers takes up a whopping 13 spaces. They should've just increased it to 45 ultra containers and make it only take up 3 spaces. And yes, it is nice that they are giving out a skin container. Its just basically one paint but in different colors. That's not variety. And that's probably the worst thing about this fund. Variety would be something like this: 4 of these mono paints 4 paints from the epic category 3 animated paints.
