I can say the same as to why you think shorter battles would be better. Longer battles means Fewer battles taking place at once. Fewer battles taking place at once means less time wasted in trying to que especially in a specific gamemode, when MM has too many battles to choose from it takes longer for it to decide where to put you, and the results are often quite disappointing and you end up leaving. Fewer battles means a higher chance of slots filling up when people start leaving. Fewer battles also mean a higher chance of tighter rank and GS gaps. And because of that, longer battles essentially mean more balanced battles.

Sweet, tighter rank and GS gaps for 10 days.

Just thought of some more. Addition of viewing other players profiles: had a negative effect to the community that's still continuing. Removal of renting alterations: that option allowed us to test the augment without having to spend boatloads of crystals. Removal of the early battle termination system: now instead of it ending early when teams are imbalanced, players just leave to save themselves from the suffering. Permanent EXP boost: now instead of being able to have several combos ready for marshal, you only get one, maybe two if you're lucky.

Judging people based on their rank, GS, or any other rating in their profile is just as bad as judging them based on their combo if not worse. @At_Shinhas been saying its a terrible habit to judge people based on their profile. And I agree. In fact I think profiles should never have been made accessible to everyone. In fact I have this special rule for I'm dealing in an argument with another player. If the players judges me based off of my profile, then they automatically lose that argument. Judging people based on their profile just shows that: A) you cannot carry a conversation. And B) your attitude sucks. So I would clean your act if I was you. ?

IMO, profiles had the worst effect on tanki's community. And I believe that's when the game first started going downhill. Toxic attitudes are just about as much of a reason to quit the game as any bad update the game receives.

When kids do science experiments with food at a school cafeteria. Kid A: puts peaches in a bowl. Kid B: pours a carton of chocolate milk into the bowl. Kid C: puts a whole hamburger into the bowl. Kid D: tears the hamburger apart. Kid E: squirts juice out of an orange and into the bowl, and puts the orange into the bowl as well. Schools staff members: And that's not even the worst of it.

The point of the game is to get a maxed out garage, and as low of a rank as possible. Missions just fall in that. Then why are there so many tryhards in the game even in non esports matches?

Yup, and even if I wanted to play more MM matches to complete other missions, I can't because of permanent exp boost. So I have to finish them tomorrow. So here's my tanki's routine: Log on to mobile -> collect my daily container -> change my daily missions til I get missions that I can complete in just few battles -> log off of TO mobile -> log onto PC version -> play battles until missions are complete -> hang out in parkour battles if I feel like it -> log off of TO for the day.

Which is why adding profiles is pretty much the worst update in the game. It has made the community so much more toxic. Instead of using their knowledge, players are just using their opponents profile to win arguments. It is absolutely sickening. 2014 was a good year in the community at least because profiles were still non-existent in the game. I think profiles should definitely be removed from the game.

I'm not gonna change it to freeze just to make you happy. I could care less if it does. Here's A fix: Every time you press the tab key, you have to slap your wrist.

Since drones are now a major influence of the outcome of the battles, I'd like it if the score card displays the names of the drones that everyone in battle is using. You can even abbreviate the names to make it fit on the score card. This way I can see what drones everyone has equipped without having to go up to the enemy's face.

Try keeping your fingers off the tab key.
