  3. And Freeze doesn't even have 3 seconds. I'm pretty sure it's 2.5 seconds. Lower DPS, less fuel, less damage boost, same reload. ?
  4. True, and one can disable damage boosts while the other one leaves afterburn. I think they should buff Corrosive/nerf Incendiary. Corrosive was originally weaker because Freeze had the higher melee DPS.
  5. I just played a long battle with the new Freeze, used Corrosive Mix and Magnetic Mix later. It's quite awkward to use. It's a little more comfortable with Corrosive Mix surprisingly, because less fuel means it's a bit better than before to rely on straight damage than damage + freeze but at the same time I think freeze effect would've helped to deter enemies while I was reloading. Not to say the turret's completely dead but using Magnetic Mix with it was a strange experience. Every 2.5 seconds I have to reload, meaning I don't get crits as much which negatively impacts my killing efficiency. I guess the only "upside" is that you instantly reload after killing someone so streaks might be easier in the long long run. But hey, you're a melee turret. You're gonna die every 5 seconds anyway xd. I think tanki devs might have had this planned since they buffed stock Freeze damage, making it easier to finish someone off within the short time frame you get. It's still a big shame and I wish they kept it the way it was before.
  6. You see this same trend with the HD skins. Now the devs say that they have 1 skin for all modifications because it's too much effort to create 3, but when they added Vulcan, Hammer, and Gauss, they spent much time creating and modifying numerous skins for the modifications.

  8. It's no longer about raw skill with different tanks. There are so many spammy copy/paste items and the developers so hard on updates like this interface while there are bugs and balance problems around.
  9. The new Freeze is somewhat atrocious due to it needing to constantly fire to apply the freezing effect properly + it has lower DPS than Firebird. The fuel consumption change was meant to make Firebird stand out in the first place, why make it like this for Freeze too?
  10. The new garage looks pretty cool. The new tab interface, while good looking at first, is actually quite hard to read whilst in battle.
  11. You're mostly right. Something like Sizzling Field or Super Smart Minus Field is hard to use because it requires you to luck out with critical hits or set up bounce shots for status effects that can be removed by Repair Kit. Something like Magnetron is a bit better since it actually leaves enemies vulnerable, but Tectonic Field is the status Ricochet that sticks out the most in my opinion. Depending on the map, it's the most potent and also easiest stun-lock augment.
  12. An interesting name for a boring copy/paste augment. LOL Not a fan of these new icons, myself. So... it's basically Firebird now? It'll only shoot for 2.5 seconds and recharge in 1. This is probably terrible for Freeze because it relies on constant firing for the cold effect to work. Increasing damage even more. O.O The decreased Twins chance is something of a Pulsar nerf on paper. It'll have a max chance of 7-8%. Vulcan looks like it'll be insufferable, though. I approve. That thing is still crazy right now. Nerf the missiles though. No comment, I don't play with JGR much. Hornet... buff? No longer extreme map-wide AP, but that is a wild AP duration. If someone doesn't have RK, it's over for them. Nice Supercharge buff. Ares nerf. Nice. Uhh no comment for now. New augments is nice, but the drone change kinda sucks. Luckily I already have all drones. :)

    I never quite understand posts like this. Hey, it's a game and you might have some attachment or nostalgic reminiscence. But games are ultimately meant to make you happy and spend some free time. If you're no longer happy, then take a break.

    Round Stabilization decreases normal damage by 5% and critical damage by 32%. At Mk7-20, Railgun deals 1340 normal and 1870 critical. Thus, Round Stabilization Mk7-20 will deal 1273 normal and 1272 critical. Round Stabilization's perk is dealing low but constant and reliable damage whether across distance, through tanks, and regardless of normal or critical.

    I hear pretty good things about it, though many say you should have a damage boosting drone to make good use of it. At the cost of losing 6 missiles, you are almost guaranteed to hit your targets with your missiles. Exactly. It is extremely broken, both on paper and in practice. And it was handed out in relative bulk for free. Literally Cyclone + Explosive Warheads on steroids.
