  8. These are wildly unrelated analogies. Drugs and automobiles are items that should have an objective result when you use them. Game equipment in terms of balance in battles really depends on interactions with other equipment. Opex would get unrealistic results if he tried to balance equipment solely in private testing battles. Something might look good on paper or with a small test group, but be completely different in a real battle because there are so many factors to a Tanki battle. Thus, it's important for Opex to actually test something in a real scenario at least once instead of solely relying on data from a controlled and unrealistic environment.

    Hyperion doesn't use up supplies as much. It consumes 1 extra per use, and it reduces the cooldown of EVERY supply INCLUDING mines and Repair, so you're getting your full money's worth. Note that Crisis doesn't provide triple damage or armor. That's a bit misleading.

    All drones consume 1 battery per minute. However, soon the developers are removing all but 8 drones. The remaining ones are as follows: Mechanic, Defender, Booster, Trickster, Saboteur, Brutus, Hyperion, and Crisis. It consumes 3 supplies every time you switch. That means it's technically possible for it to consume 3 supplies every 0.5 seconds if you rapidly switch constantly.
  12. I am in support of the removal of offensive effects, but I think they should buff some of its actually supportive areas, such as status effect immunity and reduce the charge time.

    Spring Fever

    TBH I barely even notice it since I don't stare at the loading screen of the game. I wouldn't even really have realized it if no one had pointed it out, due to how little attention I pay to my screen when the game's loading.
  18. Jammer and EMP are completely different status effects. Perhaps you're getting them mixed up because Jammer removes extra supply boosts from Drones. It does not remove supplies, it removes drone effects which includes extra boosts from Booster, Defender, Trickster, Crisis, and Camper. Not so redundant when you see some Miners. And even with Miner removed, it'll prevent Saboteurs from placing extra mines. ?
  19. You're right, I mostly deal with Paladins from long range. All I'm saying is that there are too many luck/chance based factors when it comes to getting the exact immunity for the one hull.
  20. I have AP Immunity on Wasp and Hornet, as well as some unupgraded hulls. Light hulls are hard to use in the meta, and I don't want to spend crystals on equipment I know I won't use often. It's ridiculous to expect me to not have the specific counterimmunity at any given moment on any given equipment. That's the F2P experience, sorry if you don't realize.
  21. Interesting to see them actually removing some drones. Indeed, some think that the drone system is overcomplicated. However, I'm a bit sad to see some interesting mechanics go. There'd better be good compensation because many people have those drones maxed. At least they left my darling Hyperion alone. ? It's curious that, instead of making the weaker drones cheaper, the devs are outright removing them. It's like shooting a cannon at a fly- it technically does solve the problem... kind of. At least the remaining drones will be more worth the upgrade costs? xd. Miner isn't even that bad. It's quite useful in my opinion.

    I agree. But also, that's kind of the point of 50% protection. Protection against any other turret is irritating at best, why should Scorpion be any stronger? That's the point of fair balance. Railgun users felt the same as you do now after they nerfed critical chance from 50%. xD
  23. Scorpion is still quite usable. It was overpowered in the first place, and now it's more balanced. I agree that Freeze is pretty bad right now, but Vulcan is going strong and Railgun's damage hasn't changed at all. 1340 normal, 1870 critical.
  24. Immunity augments are either pulled from epic rarity containers or bought for 4990 Tankoins. Surely you see the tiny obstacle standing between F2P players and getting AP immunity for the exact hull they wish to use. Additionally, even if you do have AP immunity, there are stun and EMP augments to watch out for. It's impossible to prevent everything, but infinite AP is especially hard to counter. Many players don't have AP immunity on hulls they use. It's unreasonable to say that Paladin, a supportive hull, should be able to scythe through defenses offensively just because it's possible to obtain a counter.
