  1. In close quarters, infinite AP even with a limited radius is toxic especially with the global decrease in TTK.
  2. It was supposed to be a "team overdrive" that's only effective when combined with team play.
  3. The previous nerfs were to justify full immunity + AP. So I think you have a point- they should re-add fire/freeze immunity or make it charge faster, but no AP.
  4. I think it's justified. Its entire premise was a "supportive" overdrive that's only effective in team play. Instead, we initially got an untouchable monster that ripped its way through enemy defenses.
  5. Why nerf Freeze harder than Firebird? Firebird already has more damage and more fuel. ? Right after I got Toxic Mix too.

  7. I believe in Tanki X, Fire/Freeze's shots could "bounce" off walls. Imagine if you could bounce your shot off a wall onto yourself to change your temperature.

    Let's talk about Toxic Mix AKA AP Freeze for a second... I got it from an Ultra Container today. From what I can tell, it's pretty good, though its full potential is quite dependent on the level of protection in each battle. A maxed drone reduces damage by 50%, and Toxic Mix reduces your damage by 45% inherently. This means using Toxic Mix against an opponent with a max Brutus/Brutus-esque drone will give you a slight damage advantage compared to Stock Freeze. Let's do some math: Stock Freeze vs MAX Brutus: 300 - 50% = 150 dmg/tick Adrenaline Freeze vs MAX Brutus: 387 - 50 = 193.5 dmg/tick Corrosive Freeze vs MAX Brutus: 330 - 50% = 165 dmg/tick Toxic Freeze vs MAX Brutus: 300 - 45% (augment damage reduction) - 0% (ignores armor) = 165 dmg/tick Against only maxed Boosted Armor, Toxic Mix has the same effect as Corrosive Mix + a weak freezing effect. However, it's outshined by everything else when an enemy is armorless, in which case all other Freezes deal double damage whereas Toxic Freeze continues to deal -45% damage. However, the fun begins when the enemy has extra protection! Stock vs MAX Defender: 300 / 2.8 = 107 dmg/tick Adrenaline: 387 / 2.8 = 138 dmg/tick Corrosive: 330 / 2.8 = 118 dmg/tick Toxic: 300 - 45% = 165 dmg/tick vs MAX Brutus + 50% protection: Stock: 300 - 50% - 50% = 75 dmg/tick Adrenaline: 387 - 50% - 50% = 97 dmg/tick Corrosive: 330 - 50% - 50% = 83 dmg/tick Toxic: 300 - 45% = 165 dmg/tick vs MAX Brutus + Titan OD: Stock: 300 - 90% - 50% = 15 dmg/tick Adrenaline: 387 - 90% - 50% = 19 dmg/tick Corrosive: 330 - 90% - 50% = 17 dmg/tick Toxic: 300 - 45% = 165 dmg/tick As you can see, Toxic has a flat -45% penalty whereas other Freezes might get more and more damage blocked depending on the enemy's equipment. Thus, Toxic Mix's effectiveness increases with an enemy's amount of armor. It is relatively weakest against unarmored enemies, and strongest against Defender, 50% protection, and Titan's dome.

  13. This one will probably be unbearable without immunity, but not as bad as AP. 1354 normal damage, 50% critical chance. I assume they're trying to make critical and normal damage the same, with a 50% chance. Like Round Stabilization Railgun before? Nice buff to Pulsar, I think. It'll be good with the fast reload now. And I see they're nerfing Viking OD with it. Machine gun Hammer is no more? Indirect buff to RRE. ? And possible group status infliction. Still not sure if it will just be stock with crits, or stock with fast shooting. I feel like there's no way it'd still have fast lock, that would be broken. Kind of disappointing though, status Strikers were fun. Maybe to promote the new Stun Scorpion? Lol finally nerfing the missiles, well deserved. ?. Wasp buff I think? Juggernaut slight buff, Lifeguard nerf (RIP), Defender buff.. I really need to upgrade that soon. And Nuke nerf! Not too bad, but I dunno what to think about Striker yet.

    I believed it's planned; one of the old V-LOGs that showed off new alteration plans back when the big batch was released showed a couple status Magnums which were never added. Also, some speculate that the devs plan to add Pulsar for every turret. If that's true, then you can expect to see every status effect on every turret eventually.

    And technically, technically you have a chance (albeit a very small and possibly rigged chance) of getting something worth more than 40k... which is unlikely. But still, 1k is better than nothing. And I won't say no to free supplies.

    What is "pathetic" in my opinion is getting so worked up over rankup rewards in the game. Like PirateSpider said, it's just a game. It's not that I don't value my time in the game, it's that it'd literally be a net loss if they removed rewards completely.
