Yes. You can expect everyone who purchases the pass to actually try to complete the dailies. I said "an event"; not this event. Events should be accessible to everyone. Back in my day, you'd pay like 10 crystals to get a paint that puts you on a team. It also allowed you to know who's on your team in battles if they have it equipped which I thought was fun and added another level of competition.

hover jugg is never coming, is it
-
the fact that we need to spend tankcoins to participate in an event is a real disappointment

how do you change accounts on steam edition? is tanki updated to latest edition? can you purchase from the shop using steam balance?

Yeah they left the regular containers untouched. Thank god. There would've been a riot if they had removed them.
-
mmm I perceive it as no longer getting containers but we'll see in a few hours ?
-
no testing periods for updates. use the test servers for like a week and gather feedback before implementing to main build.
-
Apology accepted. I understand. Trust me -- if someone posts a "controversial" opinion, the players will be the first to respond. ?
-
i know what you mean, but "fixes" are important to keep existing systems updated. i just wish we'd use the test servers before any updates are released to the main build. what's the purpose of a forum if we don't express our opinions?
-
You seriously need elaboration? The community has been making the same comments about these events for at least the past year. I didn't request anything. I don't expect change and neither should you.

How are any of the mission changes good?! You now get 24 tankcoins (same as before) per week, but 21 fewer containers (3 a day x 7 days = 21)! For the lower rank, new players to the game or F2P players this is a massive nerf. Missions were literally the only reason why I logged on to Tanki every day, and now the rewards are a complete joke as to how they were.

3 days of sales is good 30% off is meh x2 funds and xp is meh 3 weeks of events is stupid 3 epic containers for calendar is meh special missions are bad supermissions are bad when you think about it -- 5 epic containers for 1 week big whoop.

What are some weird and rarely seen combos that are actually good?
ok_hand replied to demon09 in Game Discussion
healing shaft (or thunder) + paladin makes a pretty nice healer too --- since we're talking about hulls /w shaft, i've been really enjoying using my light caps shaft with either medium hover hull rather than a tread hull cause i can start scoping while i drift to peek and already have some scope charged. also a pro tip: you can hold right click while scoped to look around a little without having to turn your turret -
can't be bothered. close this thread if you want

i don't know how to record videos. --- maybe it's a rank thing?
-
HUH?! When I press start, the option to join the battle doesn't appear. Is the Pro battle pass still a thing or something?!
-
I'm not talking about overdrives. I have no knowledge of how to record. what did? sorry, not what i meant once i figure out how the stupid private pro battles works i'll try to explain in easy repeatable steps

how do you join a private battle?
ok_hand replied to ok_hand in how do you join a private battle? Archive
how do you join a private battle you have created in pro battles? when i exit the battle creation menu, i don't see my battle in the list. the new system is honestly so frustrating and confusing. -
Alright so if you're continuously turning your hull, you will eventually make a complete circle; not the 20 degree maximum I previously thought. What matters the most is the very beginning of starting to turn your tank, which moves your turret about 5 degrees.

Please test this and report back your findings!

I've been testing on alt accounts which I like better, and honestly I didn't know until today. Stationary, I think tread is better for its inertia. Moving, I think Hover is better for 1 reason... From testing, I made a horrible discovery. Keeping your mouse still, when using a tread tank and turning your hull in circles, your turret slightly moves slowly in the same direction up to a maximum of about 20 degrees. When you stop turning, your turret goes back to the neutral position. This is bad; especially for lock-on turrets. This means that for example, if you are driving at a target in front of you and aiming, then turn your hull to the left, you must actively compensate by turning your turret to the right. This effect is amplified by the degree you turn your hull (because of the maximum ~20 degree shift), and by the target's distance. I only tested this with M6 Twins and Hunter. I don't know how this variable could change with other modifications and other turrets and hulls. Has anyone ever talked about this??? With regards to heavy tread hulls -- because their turning speed is slow, the time for the degree shift to increase will also be slowed, meaning it affecting your aim is negligible (unless you're trying to fire while doing doughnuts). I've been playing with mouse pretty much since when it was released, and I never knew about this phenomenon; I was making the compensations without even thinking about it. Perhaps I've gotten used to it, but I can unlearn it and have the accuracy I've always intended without outside influence. Am I overexaggerating this mechanic??? Do you think using tread tanks is still viable after learning this?

Yeah, I guess. --- Really?! Didn't expect that... Are you talking about using Rapid Fire or long-distance sniping them? The only augments I have for Striker and Shaft are Hunter, Adrenaline, Meteor, and Light Caps. --- Ehhh not really interested in that augment. Other turrets do similar things better. --- I disagree; there're plenty of Plasma Torch users. For sure, Helios and Berserk are better augs for Rico though. I do not have Plasma Torch, but I think it's a solid aug for the right players' playstyle. I do not have any augs for Rico, so I maybe it's a better decision to not upgrade it for now... --- If I choose Striker, I think Defender is better than Booster. If I choose Shaft, do you think Booster is better than Defender? Is the 25% damage increase really that noticeable? Thanks for your input!

I basically only play to complete the daily and weekly missions. Nearly half of them require me to capture an objective or a point, kill a Jugg, and play all game modes. I am an adaptive player; changing roles as my team needs them. I also need 1 versatile combo to upgrade to compete with the 9999s. I just don't know if Striker or Shaft will fit that role... Like when have you seen a Striker or Shaft cap??? Maybe I need to pick a turret with closer range and higher RPM? I love Hammer, but I think vanilla is too weak, and it's range is too short for larger maps without light hull/trickster; neither I'm interested in at the moment. What about Rico? I actually use the bounce effect so I guess that puts me at an advantage...? I'd say it's my 4th favourite turret so I can see myself getting bored with it later... Still conflicted, but I'll pick Hunter, Crusader, or Paladin as my hull of choice. I'll also pick Defender.
