Interesting concept. I feel like it would be extremely frustrating though, so I wouldn't use it. I'd rather have lower damage and more shots, than fewer shots with huge damage which are difficult to land and frustrating if you miss. Also might be OP in some specific situations (like ASL red team), but on the other hand alterations as a whole exist to make your turret more effective in specific gameplay scenarios.

Hmmm, it's such a curious coincidence that Mammoth, Viking and Titan are your most used hulls, besides Dictator, which you probably used for catching golds before ODs came out...

Most of these are pretty cool, though it would be more interesting to see original alteration ideas, rather than just adapted copies of existing alts from other turrets. Although that would be quite hard considering that Gauss itself is just a combination of a bunch of other turrets' mechanics and isn't particularly original.

You won't get banned for using quotes correctly. If it's a short message (like your message I'm quoting here, or perhaps up to 6 lines long), then you can just quote the whole thing. Also, if you want to respond to just part of a message, you can quote it and then manually delete the extra text, only leaving the part you actually want to respond to. Quoting only becomes a problem when you quote a huge post (like an announcement or article) when you only wanted to add a short reply. And even then we never directly ban for it - we just edit the post to remove the big quote. So all in all, it would be much better if you used quotes and put all your responses in one post instead of making 3-4 posts in a row, because that is actually spam.

Are any virtual rewards worth any amount of real money? It's a very subjective question. If a person finds that the thrill of opening containers and getting rewards is greater than the enjoyment they could get from spending the $10000 on anything else, then it's worth it. For most people that will not be the case, so they would rather spend it on something useful, or at least a different kind of entertainment. If your only goal is to get a skin, then containers are absolutely not worth it, since even 1000 of them does not guarantee an exotic item due to the randomness of the rewards. But you shouldn't look past the massive amounts of supplies, crystals, paints and other goodies you can get from them, so if your goal is to get a bit of everything, then containers are probably the right thing for you.

You do it way too often. It would be better for everyone if you put all responses in one post and used the quote feature to help people understand who you're responding to (and also to send them a notification).

Yep, I agree. If Viking could still shoot fast while stopped, it would lose its only major counter-OD.

I think the only nerf it needs is not disabling the enemy turrets. So while you're stopped by a Hunter you should still be able to continue shooting, and maybe even turn your turret (but not tank).

Striker has greater damage though. A Gauss shot is between 1300-2200 HP, while Striker is 3160-3900. That's pretty much double and not even counting alts, so it needs the disadvanatges (visible laser, slow projectiles) to be balanced.

That's funny. I have another image of this flower which was actually taken on an overcast day, but I edited it to look more like sunlight, because overcast looked really bland.
