I agree with the rest of what you said, but this part is wrong. It's not a good thing that you managed to get your whole clan on one team when you were in three groups. Unless the other team also had three groups of equal power, then MM hasn't done its job properly and didn't distribute groups into separate teams like it should have. I've been in multiple battles (and seen plenty of screenshots from others), where one team had one or two groups and the other had randoms. Needless to say, the team that has the group demolishes the other team in 9 out of 10 battles.

As for the other issues you raised - they've been discussed many times already so I won't repeat myself. To summarise: MM was added to modernise the game and make it appeal to new audiences Devs said on multiple occasions that Tanki X is far from being an independent (let alone leading) project, so their main focus is still on TO. If you can't accept these changes, you are welcome to buy the PRO pass and play custom battles just like the old times. Like I said above - the cost of PRO is negligible compared to the amount you can earn in a month from battles and missions.

While most of your complaints have some truth in them, your main argument is that the PRO pass is too expensive. So since you've been away for two years, I recommend you play the game for a while and get a feel of today's game economy. In the past two years we've had: Permanent 2x increase of mission chain rewards Permanent 20% increase of daily mission rewards Addition of containers to weekly chains, which can give you things like crystal packs (up to 1 million), days of premium (double funds and 2500 extra crys every day), gold boxes (which you can catch and drop yourself) Mission chain never goes down if you stop playing. Ever. Increase of battle funds So if you just look at the numbers, all you need is the two rewards of week 1 and week 2 in order to pay off the cost of the PRO pass. Or just a single reward of week 5 and above. And that's just one week for a whole month of PRO pass. So compared to how many free crystals you are given, it's safe to say that the price of the pass is completely reasonable.

I was about to dismiss it because the screenshot isn't full, but then remembered that there is no ASL in PRO battles :rolleyes: The record was made during 10x golds. Since it's not a normal rate, the record can only be put into the archive, because the conditions used to set it no longer exist in the game.

Yeah, pretty much. Seems like this is a toy added for specifically for legends who have nothing to spend crystals on. Although I don't think there would be enough players like that to justify a whole new gameplay mechanic specifically for them.

Of course, kills and score are not affected by funds.

You forgot the 1 million needed to MU it :P I hardly ever see drones in battles. I'm pretty sure that the only people using drones are buyers, people using up their weekly reward or those who still have some left over after the module and XT conversions. I'm personally saving mine so that I can use them when more interesting drones come out and when the battery price hopefully gets fixed so that drones become a thing you can actually use on a regular basis without it costing an arm and a leg. Pretty sure it's been merged into the news topic. Check your profile. Yeah, out of the current three, trooper seems best. Mechanic is just too hard to use to its full benefit, and its reload it too slow. Assault is good, but usually pointless because you lose all your health and die before your supplies run out. If there's a future drone that recovers health after every kill - I'd use it in a heartbeat.

Score and reward. If you provide video, you can apply for points captured as well.

The gifts limit in the garage was always 100, so you could make sure you delete new gifts in time so that the oldest ones don't get overwritten.

If you think about it, the purpose of a gift is to show someone that you care about them, rather than hoard the gifts and show off how popular you are. While it would obviously be nice to still have all the gifts displayed, it wasn't important enough to sacrifice server power for the sake of displaying all those gifts, because every time someone loads the profile of another player, the server gets a request to check the number of gifts that player received, and considering the total number of players, gifts and amount of times people view others' profiles, it all adds up to a large amount of unnecessary server processing power that makes profiles (and probably the game itself) work slower.

No point. I very much doubt that developers will add a whole new cosmetic and just give it for free to people who own special paints (and not sell it at all).

Well, imagine you spent months or even years working to get that medal and you can't wait to wear it every day and show it off to everyone, making people think "wow, that guy has accomplished something great!". And then, a couple months after you get that medal, some shop starts selling lower almost identical medals for a low price using a cheap material. So now not only do a bunch of other people have medals, but everyone who sees you simply thinks you bought it from the shop. I know it doesn't really work like that in real life, since the main reward for winning a sports tournament is the feeling of pride and accomplishment, rather than recognition from random strangers. But in Tanki and other video games recognition is exactly what most people want. So by adding a bunch of random similar looking paints developers basically ruined the main purpose of special paints. Because let's face it, a lot of reward paints aren't particularly pretty and people only wear them to be recognised. The least developers could to do make up for it is add the name of the paint in the info panel above the tank (when you press "R") and maybe colour the text according to rarity (e.g. gray for garage, blue for shop/container, purple for helper/admin, green for parkour reward, gold for esports reward).

I feel like there should be some additional cosmetic that is impossible to buy and is given to owners of special paints. Something like a "glow" effect around the tank, or a sticker on the tank, or some kind of smoke particles. Something that will indicate to everyone else that the player they're looking at has done something special. I'm not even asking for it to be given to helpers and admins, but at the very least winners of the biggest contests, since they definitely deserve it.

This has bothered me for a while. I completely agree that there are too many similar paints now. Although it doesn't really bother me that Flame is no longer recognised, it's still a shame that paints no longer give you that status of being the owner of something rare.

Either way, there's no reason to assume that wasp didn't discuss his idea with us before posting, and even if he didn't, we can always check his idea after it's posted and change the status if necessary :) That being said, I'm not sure if I agree with the idea. I feel like instead of adding an even more expensive rename pass, the current rename pass should get these bonus features and the old rename pass should become cheaper and/or be sold in the garage for crystals. I feel like the current rename pass is absolutely not worth its price and needed to have all the features of "rename+" from the start.
