He said that a whole number of criteria have to be met in order for you to qualify. So other than lagging and not getting any kills you also have to stay paused for prolonged periods of time and have a low score, which shouldn't be a problem if you play actively.

Valid Battle option for restricting certain equipment

That would be a bad approach to game design. Buyers are important because they bring revenue, but free players are also important because they give the game a player base and allow it to expand. If free players won't be able to compete against buyers, they will simply stop playing and leave, which will quickly result in downfall of the game.

The reason we do this is to help developers get feedback about the updates. The easiest and most efficient way for them to collect feedback is by reading posts in one topic. Sometimes we (forum mods and admins) go through the topics ourselves and summarise the feedback for developers. This is nothing to do with censorship - just management of feedback. If we allow players to have their own topics about recent updates all over the forum, then it will make it harder for devs to see all the feedback. So while you may get more activity on your post from players (replies, poll contributions, etc.), your post is unlikely to actually reach the developers, along with all the posts that other players leave in your topic. Of course this only lasts while the news topic is open. As soon as the news topic closes, we will allow at least one discussion topic in Game Discussion section :) If you have any complaints about the way we do things, feel free to discuss it with me in PM, or post in the Complaint Book. Closed.

So you're just suggesting an option to send a message along with your request to join a clan? I don't really see the point. What are you going to write? "I am a good player and skilled with this and that turret"? If they want to know what you play with, they can check your profile, while saying that you're a good player is pointless since it means nothing until you actually show your skills to them in practice.
-
Don't be so sure about that. With the release of mobile version there's a good chance that new players will be coming in.
-
Because with fewer players it means that at any given moment you have less people queuing for battles, so the system has less people to choose from when putting them into battles. If there were 3300 people in the queue at any given time, with 100 in every rank, then MM would be very effective, creating 6-7 battles per rank and separating players of each rank into 6 different groups based on their skill, equipment, effectiveness and any other relevant values. That way all battles would be fair and balanced. But if there's only 200 people in the queue, then the system has to put multiple ranks in the same battle together and not separate them by skill and equipment at all, since if it did that, the waiting times would be much, much longer.

After the introduction of drones buyers definitely got a significant advantage, but it's not at a point where I would refer to the whole game as "pay-to-win". Free players can still compete if they spend their crystals wisely and it's still much better than a lot of other popular free-to-play games.
-
Topic merged Sorry, while this topic is open all related ideas will be merged here to help developers see your feedback. Skins are made to be exclusively cosmetic. They will never give any benefit in battles, as this would worsen the "pay-to-win" aspect of this game. By keeping skins purely cosmetic, developers are able to put them in the Shop for very high prices without affecting balance between free players and buyers, but as soon as skins start giving battle advantages, players will be upset and the game will lose a lot of reputation. As for the idea of earning extra EXP with the skin equipped - that's possible, but still unlikely.

Valid Earn new modules from the new modules system that you don't own in giveaways
Maf replied to RIDDLER_8 in Ideas and Suggestions
Under review Unlikely. This requires a much more complicated system than simply giving a particular module to everyone who gets 2000+ kills. I think any future giveaways will continue to have just one specific module. -
They should give us an option to change equipment as soon as you join, without starting the 5 minute timer.
-
For me the map doesn't really matter. Wasp Hammer is good for any map. As for module - I usually play for a couple minutes and see which turrets are most common and, if I can identify 3 common ones (or one particular player that annoys me), I change to the suitable protection.
-
Only the first three drones are about supplies. The other 9 are probably going to have different effects. At the same time, supplies and overdrive are both temporary abilities which boost your tank's power and are activated with the keyboard, while both Drones and Modules are additional assistance items which help in battle, are equipped in the garage, bought for crystals and micro-upgraded.
-
I don't think it's just private battles. You can easily create a 1v1 or 2v2 public battle and power-level there, while even normal PRO battles like Polygon CP XP/BP naturally have much higher battle funds due to rapid deaths (no repair kits, no isidas, light hulls, tight map, etc.). So PRO battles generally have higher funds because of the specific settings players choose, which is why it's not economically feasible for devs to do double funds there.

New rule Tanki snuck in...you should read this....(talk about cheaters!)

You're contradicting yourself. You say you aren't willing to pay 50k at once, yet you are willing to spend even more than that by upgrading the module gradually. At your rank 15% protection is practically worthless, so you're much better off saving up 50k and buying the M2 (or even waiting until you can get M3), because getting M1 and upgrading it a few times to get 17-20% will be a waste of crystals. It's true that the 100% discount was added partially to encourage players to spend more crystals. It does benefit you in some situations, but in others it's more of a waste than a benefit. But just think about it - you have an 8/10 M1 module that gives you 23% protection. So you can either spend 37k to get to M2 for free and then spend up to 250k slowly upgrading it to M3, or you can get marshal rank and buy an M3 directly during the next sale, spending only 125k total. Even those 8 steps weren't wasted - you were taking advantage of the upgraded module the whole time while you were playing at lower ranks. -

It's true that some aspects of the module conversion weren't completely fair to players and in some cases involving LGC modules players ended up in an inconvenient situation, but that's the best compromise that developers could find, where players don't lose anything and the economy doesn't suffer. If you think about it - now you can just buy the M2 module for 50k during the next 50% sale and save yourself the time and crystals you would otherwise spend getting the M1 to M2 via micro-upgrades, which would cost you 110 000 crystals even with a 50/70 MU sale. -

No offence, but this seems like a bit of Internet Explorer situation here :P That note is not a rule. It's a notice I added to the wiki page a few months ago in order to warn players about the way the MU system works, so that they won't accidentally waste crystals thinking they can get a discount. The system itself worked like that ever since developers added the ability to skip purchase of low modifications of equipment (in 2015, I think). So if you are Marshal and own an M1, then go straight from M0 to M3 by purchasing M3 only, instead of having to waste crystals on the M1 and M2. The side effect of this was that it was no longer possible to buy cheaper modifications when a higher modification was already unlocked at your rank. But the wiki also says that if you fully MU your turret/hull, then you can get the next modification for free. This resulted in some players spending a lot of crystals fully upgrading their M0 or M1 in order to get M3 for free, not realising that that's not how it works. So I added a warning to hopefully prevent this. -

They would be fine if batteries were cheaper (or lasted longer) and MUs would get gradually unlocked at each new rank, but alas.

No, you cannot transfer crystals between accounts. The best you can do is buy crystals for someone else using money, but doing so its not recommended. Please ask questions in the Q&A topic. Closed

Eh, they will learn... After they get destroyed by impact turrets over and over they will eventually realise that Railgun requires a different approach. They will learn, just like how every past and present "pro" Railgun player had to learn at some point.

No, I don't mean the exact period when they worked. Just the date of the V-log from which each screenshot was taken.
