I disagree that heavyweight augment is weaker than the immunities. In fact, in capture modes I'd argue it's one of the stongest, and before hover hulls were introduced, heavy Wasp was my go-to combo for capping flags and scoring goals. And now with Hoppers being a thing, it's already hard enough to counter a Hopper with freeze or stun immunity, but put them together and it becomes literally impossible. If you wanna make the game a LOT more P2W, multiple hull augments is definitely the way to go. The only augment combo I would allow is heat + freeze resistance, and maybe lightweight + anything. But then it just becomes confusing and unnecessarily complicated.

The real advantage of Crisis in a 1v1 cannot be easily measured on paper. Crisis really shines in duels against long reload turrets, because you can take advantage of both MA and MD. Best example is Railgun: equip MA just before he's about to shoot, then switch to MD while he's reloading, and back to MA when he's about to shoot again. With other turrets speed might be the best choice. If you have a hypothetical scenario where you're fighting a Twins in a huge empty field, all it takes to win is to circle him with MS active and dodge all his shots. I'd say the other big use of Crisis is for campers. You can simply activate MD, and you effectively have infinite boosted damage, which you can use to snipe people from afar. It's not as powerful as booster, but is not limited to being active just 10% of the time (3s every 30s).

True, but while the drone is good for these large maps, I feel like its performance is worse due to the number of enemies. Moving with DA is too slow, but the instant you activate DD or speed, there's a very good chance an enemy will shoot and kill you. The drone is more effective with standard 8v8 settings, but I still believe it's not as powerful as other drones. There's a very useful new reaction called "agree", which you can use to agree with my post without leaving an unnecessary reply

From what I can tell, the only cool feature of crisis is increased speed. But the fact that you can use only one supply at a time is a massive disadvantage. I rarely have much trouble playing against Crisis users, with exception of specific combinations of maps, equipment and game modes. A couple days ago had a guy with Hopper + Crisis playing against me in Skylark CTF. He did cap two flags and we lost, but we also killed him a bunch of times and he had a K/D of 2/15. It's just not the kind of gameplay most people would enjoy. Oh and it eats your supplies like crazy. You can easily end up spending 500 or more supplies in a single MM battle with active use of the drone.

Valid I like the idea. I also like the idea of having other things on rotation, like game modes and map sets. Would be cool if one week was small maps, another week large maps, then a mix of both... Something like that. -
The thread is just a player-made article in Amateur Writing section. It's assuming a bunch of things and speculating based on what developers actually said about the turret. It's an interesting text, but definitely not to be taken seriously.

There have been no news about release of Tesla turret, and there was no specific date promised. It's most likely delayed until further notice.

Similar things have been suggested many times before. I love the idea, but I think devs' official stance on this is that it's not worth implementing. But you never know...

I count this as a win. Enemy team had 4 hoppers, two of whom had stun immunity. Killumnia used AP freeze with crisis, and 2437637 healed him all the time, allowing him to just run around with boosted DD. I used Hopper + freeze immunity and Shock Freeze. Best moment was right at the end, when Killumnia was about to kill me with DD, but died on a mine I placed because he had no protection, which allowed me to go through and score :D

HTML5 doesn't have all the graphics features added to it yet, and devs mentioned recently that they have some improvements planned. It won't be the same as Flash, but it will still look better than it does now. Personally, I don't think graphics are particularly important, especially in a game like Tanki, which doesn't aim to be hyper-realistic.

"The situation should improve" doesn't mean "the problem will be completely fixed". Such scenarios will continue to happen, especially during non-peak times when few players are online. Spy correctly said that this is how Matchmaking is supposed to work, so there are no issues to "fix" per se. However, it would make sense that once the experiment is over and battles are back to 8v8, battles with large rank brackets will be less common because it's much faster to find 16 players to fill a game as opposed to 32. So regarding your poll, no — MM was not always unbalanced before the experiment, but it wasn't always balanced either.

The bad news is that event modes never stay permanently, so this one will be gone once the time is up. The good news is that this mode had existed in Tanki for many years already, and to play it you simply need to create your own battle in the "Battle list" section. Make sure to enable "XP/BP" format in the battle creation settings, and you will be able to play the mode as much as you like. Just a few things to keep in mind: Custom format battles are only played for fun. You will not earn any crystals or stars in them, and you will not make any progress in missions. Because there is currently no MM system for custom battles, you may find it difficult to find people to play with you. Although at your rank the format is already quite popular. You have to actually own Hornet and Railgun Mk7 in your garage and have them equipped in order to join such a battle. If this is your main account, you will need to raise your rank and buy the equipment before you can play these format battles.
