It could just be that other people became more "efficient" than you and pushed you down.

Ideally there should be a system that keeps track of how many times a player has been picked to be Juggernaut, and/or how long they spent playing as Juggernaut. If I spent 10 hours in TJR mode and only been Juggernaut 2 times, then I should get priority when choosing the next Juggernaut over another player that also spent 10 hours in TJR and has been Juggernaut 7 times. Also there should be an option to cancel becoming the next Juggernaut if you don't want it. But to be honest — minor issues like this are not serious enough to dedicate work time to improve them. Please avoid getting hostile. The truth is that you are very difficult to understand due to confusing sentence structure, most likely because English is not your main language. That's fine and we are willing to try to understand you, but don't blame us for not being able to.

It's pretty weak these days compared to all the drone-augment-overdrive boosted normal tanks. Besides, in TJR you are met with a dilemma — do you camp in the base for the sake of making it harder for enemies to kill you (so that your team will be more likely to win), or do you just go and hunt for kills disregarding interests of the whole team?

Good question. I did 7k damage once, but my blaster is 18/20. Not too sure exactly how it works.
-
I tested it yesterday and frankly, wasn't very impressed. I was under the false impression that dying and exploding while OD is on would boost my Blaster damage, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Only DD seems to double Blaster's damage. It did help me get a few extra kills, but I noticed that I spent a lot more time focusing on dying next to an enemy instead of actually surviving and getting kills normally, so overall it reduced my performance quite a bit.

It doesn't matter who won — it's all about the friends we make along the way ?

Thanks guys. It was a close match but I'm sure next time you'll find enough supporters to bring me down. For now, I am inevitable ?

The forum update has a lot more disadvantages than we anticipated, but the benefits are quite good too. I mean, previously I was literally unable to do a number of very important tasks due to various bugs and errors. As for what to do with pinned topics, I agree with you. We'll revise potential options.

Yes, new plugin was added recently to help deal with "overquoting". Now, when someone quotes a whole massive announcement topic only to reply "nice", it will just show the first part of the quote. Why not? It could greatly improve loading times. Besides, we can compromise by archiving the large topics and recreating a new identical version of them with a link to the old topic somewhere. I think that's the best way to go about it.

Correlation ≠ causation Tanki X had to be shut down for multiple reasons, but the concept of in-game premium currency in itself was not one of those reasons. A large number of online games use such a feature, even the so incredibly popular and successful Fortnite has "V-bucks" as its premium currency. I recall that in Tanki Online, addition of tankoins was necessary to allow discounts in the mobile version of the game, since android doesn't permit direct discounts for in-game purchases. This is why tankoins are always sold at a constant price, while actual discounts are applied to items you spend those tankoins on. I don't think anyone is really seeing these tankoins as an alternative to paying with real money, since, as @ILiveOnTheChatBox123 correctly pointed out, "you can't just grab a 300 tankoin item at 15 per week". But at least players do have the opportunity to get a consistent 6 free battle passes a year, since the weekly containers combined with the 100 tk challenge rewards could give you 3000+ tankoins a year. Why anyone would torture themselves with completing all challenges without Premium account and without buying the gold tier is another question, but the opportunity does exist.
-
The point of the bigger mission was to complete the smaller mission every single day throughout the event. If you missed a day and didn't catch a gold box, then unfortunately you cannot complete the big mission anymore. Although based on your screenshot, looks like you can still complete the mission. Notice that it says 4 days and 23 hours, meaning that there's basically 5 days left. It all depends on whether or not you missed any days and didn't complete "Evolution of confidence".

valid Option to pick multiple Matchmaking game modes to be placed into
Maf replied to Mirza7 in Ideas and Suggestions
Valid This has been suggested before, but I'll keep this as a separate topic since the other one got archived. Really good idea and I hope it gets implemented in the near future.- 2 replies

HTML5 does have high potential. I really hope it will finally bring a much-needed update to the clan system which devs promised to update ever since it got released in 2017(!!!) and still haven't made any improvements to it at all.
-
If it does, then I'll definitely go test it. Seems like a very interesting strategy, if true.

Oh, that's disappointing. I mean, those 100 crystal free kits are obviously just a tool to get you to look at the shop more often in order to tempt you into buying items with money, so their benefit for free players is really negligible. I don't know, I find the 50% packs of 100 batteries to be quite useful and I often buy them. 30% packs of 100 other supplies also help, though I usually try to bulk-buy enough supplies during the 50% garage sales. Though it's hard to judge how much you need these days. I mean, I had 12k DDs around christmas sales and I didn't think I'd ever need more of those, but the damn Booster drone made me go through the whole 12k stash in just a few months ?
-
This is no surprise. There's a product kit for every single combination of turret+hull, which is almost a hundred different kits. If you want to buy one exact set of equipment, you should wait for garage sales and buy the items separately. But if you're just looking to expand your garage and see an interesting kit on offer for crystals - you can use the opportunity to buy it. I see. Yeah, that doesn't seem very convenient. Does the game offer you supply packs for crystals during those days instead though? As for Mk5 vs Mk6, pretty sure that's just the P2W nature of kits - only TK kits are available earlier than crystal ones, the way it has been even before kits got moved to the shop.
-
I don't have any kits available because I already have all the equipment, but I assumed there's at least one crystal equipment kit available per day? Or is it more rare?
-
Seems pointless when I can just edit every post on this page to include my hashtag and then remove your ability to edit it back ?
-
This pack is not aimed at free players. And you conveniently ignored the fairly common crystal equipment kits and crystal supply kits, which appear in the Shop regularly. Tanki has a lot of P2W elements and features that make life harder for free players, but you probably picked the least relevant one to demonstrate your point.

It's called reverse psychology. Also they're spies from my side.

Did off-topic always have that issue for you? Because it also has a couple of topics with a ton of pages.
-
As said in the first post, the three pinned topics had almost 8000 pages of content combined. They were moved and now there's one pinned topic, with less than 1 page of content. That's 8000 times less ?
-
That's why I said "many players", not "all players". I'm sure there will be some people who will, for whatever reason, be so disgusted by HTML5 that they will actually quit. Or for whatever reason HTML5 will not work on their devices.

Experimental removal of pinned topics
Maf replied to Maf in Experimental removal of pinned topics Archive
Hi everyone! Ever since the forum upgrade that happened in November 2019, a number of people reported that the Game Discussion section takes a long time to load and often gives an error during loading. After a long investigation, we came to the conclusion that the issues are caused by presence of three very large pinned topics in the section, which accumulate to almost 8000 pages altogether. As an experiment, I moved those topics to the Resources section, to test if this improves loading times of Game Discussion. I will monitor it for a few days, and afterwards we'll decide on a more reasonable way to do it. In the meantime, please vote on the topic's poll to share if you had the same loading issue in this section and whether moving the large topics improved it. Just in case, here are the links to the moved topics: Sorry for the inconvenience. -
I think players will get used to it pretty quickly if they have no other choice. There's definitely those for whom HTML5 genuinely causes issues and is practically impossible to play, but I suspect many players, who currently refuse to try it, would actually prefer even the current HTML5 version over Flash, if they played it for a few hours.
