Skill issue. Just don't make bad guesses ? Btw longer words are actually easier to guess than short ones, because they generally have more different letters, therefore more letters are correct. Though it's a problem if you already know the word, but still need to grind to actually be able to guess the letters. As for guessing the word itself, it might be helpful to try and narrow down the options with some AI tool? Just ask ChatGPT to give you a list of Tanki-related words of a certain length that can be made using the set of letters available.

But you could say that about literally any LC skin That's exactly what they are — old skins that existed previously. Except Tesla LC. I don't know what the heck that is.

Haven't read the details yet. Is Alternativa doing a colab with Google?

Off-topic section be so dead that this was still the second most recent topic after a month of no new posts. Oof.

It doesn't need to be so drastic. The only thing needed to fix this is to make it so that the garage change timer doesn't reset when you rejoin the battle.
-
Well, adding the ricochet was an intentional nerf, so I guess Opex believes that recent fixes made it powerful enough to require a disadvantage to compensate.
-
Why "almost"? I literally linked HIS topic about this exact thing above lol

A crosshair already exists. I don't remember if it's an optional setting, but I've had it turned on the whole time. It's not as easy to point compared to a game with free aim, but using a combination of camera height and horizontal aiming you can point it almost anywhere you see, except for very high above or below you.

Some random nerd already suggested this a while ago:
-
Huh? How did you even... Actually yeah, sure - you're completely right. Good job, you won the internet argument! Well done ?
-
I don't think the analogy works, since it's like saying that Tanki battles are like firing range where all you need to do to be better is aim accurately. Free kicks aside, being able to kick the ball on target 100% of the time wouldn't help much if you can't work with your team and can't get into position for a shot. Anyhow, this is a pointless argument since we both agree that aim assist doesn't belong in PC shooters. At the end of the day, my personal opinion is that it won't make much of a difference.
-
I feel like if this was the case, then a team of bots programmed to have 100% accuracy would be able to beat a team of skilled players. That doesn't sound right, does it?

Let's not forget that Railgun could have required much more precision if vertical autoaim didn't exist and you'd have to fully aim with your mouse. Yet we do have vertical auto-aim, yet that doesn't stop Railgun Master format requiring a lot of skill. That's because the skill comes lots of other aspects, like using cover, protecting teammates, managing your reload, keeping track of enemy reload, knowing line-of-sight angles, etc, etc. Precise aiming is an important skill, but arguably not the main skill of playing with Railgun.
-
I think you're exaggerating. We've had worse things happen in this game and people aren't leaving. Or rather, they aren't leaving because of those things specifically. That being said, I personally don't like the idea of horizontal autoaim.

Speak for yourself! I'm an old man and I play Tanki with a sandwich in one hand and arthritis in the other. Aiming is hard!

Ok yeah, to be fair I'm improvising and adding my own input here to make the idea more feasible. Otherwise it's just "add more skins and shot effects" which is like... ok? New skins are being added anyway, as fast as the artists can make them. Themed augments are definitely an original idea, but at the same time you can't really "theme" an augment besides changing its name.
-
Check the suggestion again - OP is saying that existing items should be assembled in themed sets, including existng skins and shot effects. Only the proposed themed augments are new. So if the idea it so sell holiday kits, then they could easily include existing paints too. There's multiple fitting paints for each holiday.
-
Might as well throw in a themed paint also.

Idk man, I play quite a few different games and as far as mechanics go, Tanki is definitely on the simpler side. In terms of technical skill and tactics - sure, maybe there's quite a bit of depth there. But in terms of the game mechanics themselves it's pretty damn straightforward. If you want an example of complex game mechanics, look at Minecraft. I'm serious.
-
On the contrary, the current supplies mechanic itself is dumb. Everyone just spawns and does 2-3-4 in some order, every time. There's no strategy here, and one might think - what is even the point of having armour and damage boost if everyone uses both and they just cancel each other out. I think the primary motivation for adding Oracle drone is to make the supplies mechanic more tactical, while simplifying the game for newbies is a nice side effect. Yeah, that's a good point. Sounds concerning. I think this might be a temporary thing that will change in the near future. This drone is supposed to encourage picking up supply boxes by making them more valuable, so it will probably be changed so that you get a second supply activated when you pick up a box. Not only that, but box supplies might even have increased power, similar to the current bonus from using drones.

I'm not sure what kind of advice you're asking for. If you mean advice for how to suggest features for Tanki Classic, then I recommend waiting for a relevant announcement in the News section and sharing your ideas in the replies there. He's just saying that you should put all your quotes and responses into one post, otherwise it looks messy and takes up a lot of space. The MultiQuote tool helps with that (and it's what I'm using to make this post): The purpose is to point out, in the most riduculous manner possible, that taking bits of someone else's post and removing important context is misleading and disingenious. Especially in this case, since both of my posts from your cropped screenshots were joke posts, yet here you are taking small parts of them literally like some dishonest lawyer with no sense of humour.

Wow, I didn't know you're such an avid proponent of supporting developers' income! Good effort!
-
But... the title though ?

Yeah, I'm also confused. When you say "that's considered cheating", do you mean that you get self-destructed? Or is it just that you don't deal damage?
