  1. There's no benefit to opening containers in smaller batches. Now that the mission to open a container is gone, there's absolutely no reason to open fewer than 15 at a time.

    They're not gonna make any random changes on such short notice. It's also pointless to ask for more gold boxes - just wait for the next mode with increased golds and no ODs.

    Then it's probably a skill issue on my end. That being said, I haven't had much trouble against this augment on the enemy team. They're about as dangerous as any other top-tier OP augment.

    I disagree. A direct nerf would make it pretty much worthless. The whole point of this augment is that it's challenging to get up close to an opponent, but if you do, it's game over for them and you get the kill. The problem is that the augment is too far on the extreme end of the parameters, meaning that if it got slightly more range and slightly reduced damage or firing rate, it would become more usable and less annoying to fight against.

    OK at this point I played like 15 games total and my verdict is that the augment kinda sucks. Yes, you can get top kills with it and demolish most enemies within a second, but the combination of being useless at range and constantly getting blown up by Blaster augments makes me hate the gamplay with this thing. Magnum Destroyer is much more versatile, equally OP, fun to play and, dare I say it, takes a lot more skill to use. Most of those complaining about it only judge it based on how quickly it kills them, but they fail to consider the time the "shock therapists" waste roaming around the map and actually trying to get up close to enemy players. Don't forget the removal of chain lightning - it's a very significant disadvantage. You can't shoot through teammates, and if an enemy tesla shoots a ball in front of them, you'll be hitting the ball and dealing no damage.

    I played a few more games with it today and can tell you that enemies learn very quickly to back away from you when they see you coming. Driving up to them is easier said than done. It's OP for sure, but I don't think it's more OP than other top-tier augments like Faust or Destroyer.

    Meh, same old. Happens every time with a new OP augment, then a week later people get bored of it and then it gets nerfed and a new OP thing comes out. Since the augment has such a short range, it's quite easy to counter. I think it shouldn't be nerfed because it's totally balanced and people will quickly learn to play against it and definitely not because I play with it and I like how OP it is
  10. Yeah, it's similar to a normal grenade, but it launches really high up and flies far. Has a bit more damage.

  12. So we tested the splash damage in DM. Turns out if you have two tanks on low health next to one another and one of them has Blaster, if you shoot the tank without Blaster, you only get the kill on the other tank, but that other tank gets the kill because his Blaster damage (from him dying to your splash damage through the first tank) is calculated before your direct damage. Nonsensical mechanic, but I guess it doesn't make much of a difference in the long run and only nerds like us notice it.

  14. It's a minor issue that rarely affects gameplay, but should still be fixed nonetheless. You should post it in I&S. It took them three years to add auto-aim on nanotech thunder, so maybe in another three we'll get yours implemented too!
  15. Devs usually make these events so that the increased gold box game modes are played with overdrives turned off, but for some reason all three Randomiser modes have overdrives turned on. EIther way, I don't think we need such a convoluted solution (stop Hoppers taking golds after using their OD) when devs could simply disable overdrives in settings. The problem is that once you do that, everyone just switches to Dictator to catch golds without ODs, because it's the meta. You can't really prevent meta gaming while still allowing players to freely pick their equipment.

Not gonna lie, that sounds like a huge risk for player privacy, especially considering that many players are under 18 (or even under 13) and don't understand the importance of hiding your personal data online. Development of this page has been stopped since like 2018. Developers plan to eventually integrate profiles within the game instead of hosting them on a separate website, but for now the page stays as is. It's unclear when this integration will be done, if ever.

  18. Alright, if we're doing hypotheticals, then I'd want to implement every single one of @RIDDLER_8's ideas and see what happens.
  19. Your language is not the problem. I'm just saying that it's very difficult to try and come up with a solid definition of cross-teaming in DM which doesn't affect normal solo players. It's much easier to just avoid having this rule altogether. I don't quite understand this. Why does it matter to players (like you and me) whether or not others are changing their textures? It's not like what they do affects us, right?
  20. Now imagine you bring this list to the directors of APL Publishing for approval and tell them how many work hours it will take and the budget required. And they realise that to implement all this, the team would have to cancel development of some new events, new augments, and a couple other features in order to free up enough resources. So they ask you "How much will our quarterly and annual cash flow increase from these changes?". What do you say?
  21. What would you consider to be a "balanced K/D"? I've seen solo players in DM with a K/D of more than 5.0 without any teaming. This sounds more like a P2W issue than a teaming issue. See? The way you're describing it doesn't make it easy for moderators to understand how to enforce the rule. Where do you draw the line between simply ignoring and actively teaming? What conditions do two or more players need to meet in order to count as saboteurs in DM? There's no clear answer, so instead of trying to make up convoluted rules for sabotage in DM, why not just let people play it whichever way they want? At the end of the day, DM isn't a core game mode, so it's fine if it's not entirely fair or balanced.
  22. How do you enforce the second rule? I play DM alone, but sometimes I ignore certain players that have Defender and 50% prot from my turret because it's a waste of time to shoot them. And if I have 50% from them, they often ignore me too. So in that case are we teaming and breaking your rule? And to be honest, teaming with friends in DM is actually detrimental most of the time, because it means you have fewer enemies to shoot, and you reduce your efficiency when you spend too much time being careful not to shoot your friends.
  23. I hope this fixes the no-change bug where you have to wait for another respawn before changing.

    Or just... don't join such battles? I get your frustration, but I wouldn't extrapolate this one incident into a "grotesque status" of the whole game. MM battles don't have such issues.
