playing the game with one hand?

It definitely is possible to play one handed, since you don't have to rely on mouse controls. You could of course play without turning your turret, if your left hand is good you could I don't know, use WASD to drive for example and shoot using the spacebar with your thumb. I don't know what keyboard layout you have, but with this configuration my pinky would still be free, so I could bind turret rotation to Shift for rotating left and to >< (key to the right of my Shift) to rotate right. And there you go, one hand controls. If it's meant to be for the right hand, you can just mirror this to the other side of your keyboard. I have a QWERTZ keyboard, if you're interested And yeah, you can rebind all the controls in the settings, you can always make new configurations and I would recommend testing them out in private PRO battles. Just find whatever you find most comfortable.
  2. Really? In old Tanki you could have a full M3 garage by the Lieutenant rank, free to play players would never achieve this, which was a significant flaw. In that same time period, free to play players never had supplies - meanwhile, the paying audience had thousands of them, essentially making their already stronger tank twice as strong, which is also a huge flaw in my opinion. In some cases, Brigadiers had no chance against Lieutenants. Does that seem balanced? Some time after the re-balance, I think around 2013-2015, they added kits, which were getting paying players paints, hulls and turrets, up to 7 ranks (which was one HELL of a grind back then) before you could actually get them in the garage, giving them a significant advantage over free to play players. As a normal player at the Warrant Officer 4 rank, with I don't know, Thunder and Hornet M1, you were facing self-healing Isida/Viking M2 combinations that had thousands of supplies while you had none. These players with kits were practically invincible for you, killed you in seconds and it took just one of them to turn around entire 8v8 battles. This situation lasted for years. You really think this wasn't ridiculously flawed? The game has always been an unbalanced, flawed mess, everyone has always been complaining. Yet, you all seem to forget about it, which is quite funny. The pay to win factor has always existed and in newer Tanki it is just shifting, I personally don't believe that it's getting worse than it used to be. What sucks is the gambling part.
  3. It was fun for me as well, but you know why? Because many of us were kids, and this game was something new back then. Tanki was one of the first PC games I had ever played when I was a kid, of course it was fun. We didn't realize all the flaws back then and remember only the positive things because of nostalgia. If I had to play 2011's version of Tanki today and grind all the way up to Marshal, I straight up wouldn't, lol. Same goes for newer versions.
  4. Well, this wasn't meant to be a topic to discuss only this one case, it was an attempt to make people know that there are a lot of players who have been using scripts in recent times. XP/BP is literally infested, in many Discord servers people even post screenshots of themselves wallhacking (=seeing people through walls), lol. It's not really enjoyable at the moment and I can't even dare to imagine how many are scripting in matchmaking. I understand that developing an efficient anti-cheat is quite challenging, but something needs to be done regardless. It's far too easy to use scripts at the moment. XP/BP is literally starting to feel like Counter Strike 2 matches, if you're familiar with that game - or rather, with its problem regarding cheaters.
  5. The answer to this question is non-existent because this has literally NEVER been a problem, before end of last year. It makes no sense that these miscalculations would always affect only the same player. Why are other players not hitting you like that then, why always the same ones? Shouldn't it be random who hits you like this, if it's server-sided errors? Why isn't it happening only a couple times to that one player, but on every shot, no matter which map they play? Are the nicknames of these specific players, who always seem to shoot through walls like shown in the videos, hardcoded or something, so that the game always lets them do this? Isn't it a bit suspicious that players who hit you like this, often end up activating other hacks too, that make them jump or teleport around? The first 4 clips are from the same match and it's always the same player hitting me like that. I can't do more than clip the way they hit me to try and prove that that player was using aimbot.
  6. 4th reply, 3rd spoiler. I have only clips unfortunately, no actual videos. All the clips of that reply is me getting hit by the same player. Servers have been pretty crappy since August 2022, to be fair, and have been a lot worse than they are currently. Why wasn't this happening in that period of time, but only ever since the first videos of actual aimbot have appeared online, which is towards end of last year?
  7. ...again, I highly doubt that's only lag, otherwise it would affect way more players and not always the same specific ones. I have been playing for over a decade and I'm seeing this happen only since end of last year.
  8. I've seen that happen too, and in that case I believe it's just desync, so a server problem. Usually, after they shoot, you can see their turrets rotate really fast into their actual position, which is probably the game trying to resynchronize that player's turret position. Seems to happen mostly with players who are using mouse controls.
  9. From the script menus I've seen, there is no aim assist for every turret. Primarily Rail, yes, and a couple other ones.
  10. You know, I wish it's miscalculations, but just the sad fact that it's always the same players, no matter the map, no matter when the play, on every shot - proves it wrong in my opinion. It's literally always the same people doing this, who sometimes don't even lag otherwise. What's funny is that these players often end up losing patience and just turn on everything they have. Take a look at this: So first is the "shooting miscalculation" you mentioned I'd say, and then what is the second video, a... movement miscalculation, causing that player to jump (same player btw)? It's not, first clip is aim assist combined with normal lag, his shot is bending like that maybe because of what I explained replying to Maf, and second clip is, as you may have guessed, jumphacks obviously. This player jumphacking pretty much proves that it's aim assist imo, because why wouldn't he have it. Such scripts come with menus, where you can pretty much enable everything. That Vlog is from almost 3 years ago, the problem of shots appearing to go through walls didn't exist back then. What I'm showing here is affected by normal lag, what you guys are talking about, but on top of that this: Aim assist (yes, the shot did deal damage). This is a screenshot from some video I took, which was released in November 2023. Since around that time you see shots appear to go through walls. Highly doubt the screenshot is another miscalculation.
  11. Here's some more examples, since one clip isn't enough (mind you, always the same player): Lag only doesn't hit through cover like that, this right here is aim assist combined with normal lag.
  12. If it's lag, why doesn't every player who is lagging hit you through walls? The vast majority of them hits you while you're in cover, but their shot goes next to your cover, not directly through it. There has not been such a situation. What I think is happening, is that the shot only appears to go through walls etc, because in their POV you're not behind a wall yet, due to normal lag probably. Their aim assist locks in on a pixel of yours, and if for you that pixel is behind cover, in your POV their shot is bent in a way that it still hits that exact pixel, no matter if it goes through map elements. For them, that pixel wasn't covered the moment they hit you, I assume. And yes, Railgun aim assist is a thing that exists.

Hacking situation is getting out of hand

In PRO battles, literally every 4th player is running scripts or whatever to gain unfair advantages, and no matter how often you report them, spectators just can't tell if they're actually doing it or not, and even warn you for false reporting. I mean, just look at this: Straight through the wall. Lag can still hit you while you're in cover, yes, but the shot wouldn't go through the wall, it would go next to it. Me and my teammate were getting hit like shown in the video throughout the entire game - as soon as one pixel of our tanks was exposed, we were getting hit like this through walls. That's not the first player to do it, by the way. There's a lot of throwaway accounts that are using scripts. This has been going on for so long already, that I feel like the developers don't even know about these scripts? The situation is honestly becoming quite ridiculous, if it isn't already, and it surprises me that no one is talking about this, or that there are no statements from the developers. Something needs to be done.

I can't find my account nickname

For how long have you not logged in? Maybe someone else took your nickname, in that case yours should have changed to r_nickname0 or similar. The number at the end represents how many times that nickname was taken, starting from 0. So, it could also be r_nickname1 or r_nickname2 etc. Here you can check after how many days of inactivity a nickname can be taken: https://en.tankiwiki.com/Nicknames?attempt=1

Bug in HYPERSPACE ROUNDS - Railgun

This isn't a new bug, it's been around ever since Tanki switched from Flash to HTML5. In Flash, you could reliably hit doubles with railgun when tanks were standing in a row, no matter which angle. Ever since they switched to HTML5 however, it often feels random whether you can hit everyone in a row or not. Been around for ages already, unfortunately. Seems like the game doesn't realize that there are tanks in a row.

    Let's Discuss Twins!

I hope I understood your question correctly, lol. If you rotate your hull clockwise with a speed of 20 degrees per second and your turret anti-clockwise with a speed of 15 deg/s, then naturally, the turret will start going clockwise with a speed of 5 deg/s, up to the point when you stop rotating your hull. If both have a max. rotation speed of 20 deg/s (hull still goes clockwise, turret anti-clockwise), but the hull has higher rotation acceleration, then the turret will go clockwise too and form an angle, until it reaches the same turning speed as the hull. And then, the angle won't change anymore, until of course you stop rotating your hull. Twins Mk6 has a max. rotation speed of 125,29 deg/s and acceleration of 125,29 deg/s², Hunter Mk6 however, has a max. rotation speed of 112,35 deg/s and acceleration of 329,41 deg/s² (stats from Wiki, no MU). In this case, it's natural that there will be an angle initially since Hunter accelerates faster, but Twins should catch up and normalize eventually, once its rotation speed surpasses Hunter's.
  19. You can actually be pretty aggressive if you use heavy capacitors and can even go in close range if the opponents have no protection, so it's pretty nice to have some extra speed to sneak in some flags or whatever (or just to run away honestly). Works surprisingly well. There's that rapid fire augment for shaft that could be better in close range I guess, but I like heavy capacitors more because of the added damage in sniper mode. It also reloads fast enough in arcade mode.
  20. There should be an option to prevent certain players from joining the battles you create, and an option to reserve spots for players you want to join. A lot of players join battles just to annoy others and to disregard any rules (they know they're doing it), and you just can't get rid of them. So being allowed to blacklist such players, meaning making them not able to join your battle, would be a very nice addition to PRO battles. Blacklisting just one or two would be enough already probably. This can get abused, yes, but I'm sure that everyone would still love this feature. As well as whitelists. Happens a lot of times that you create a battle and want to join it with a premade team, and then a random player clicks and joins your battle, stealing one of the needed spots. So you should be allowed to whitelist spots in battles, i.e. reserve them for players you want to join. Blacklists are probably a bit controversal but still, both would be a very nice QoL addition to PRO battles in my opinion. If you ask anyone who plays there mainly, I'm pretty sure they would agree. I can also imagine "battle commands" for the one who created the PRO battle work really well with this, for example stuff like /addwhitelist or whatever. This may be a bit overkill for now, but I can imagine it work out in future

    Game Unable to Load

? You most certainly don't want to have your ping higher. Ping represents the communication time between you and the server in milliseconds. So, the higher the ping, the higher the in-game delay you will experience. I doubt this problem is fixable by you or any other besides the devs themselves. You have to wait it out, I guess.

    Game Unable to Load

Well there's not much you can do, honestly, since a lot of this is coming from the servers. Try clearing the game's cache if you didn't already, or reinstall the client if you use it. But watch out as these will reset your settings

    Game Unable to Load

That's probably just the servers acting up, currently they're having lots of issues. What's your average ping?
