  2. Lag is the period of time between one event and another (could also say latency in this case, latency=ping). High ping delays everything you see and do. When someone is pressing W to drive forwards, you see it happen way later than when they actually started, due to your high ping, which means you lag. You're a lagger unfortunately, my friend. Everyone is lagging to some extent, by the way. Ping is the time it takes data from your computer to go to the servers and back, in milliseconds. The higher it is, the more you're out of sync, the more you lag.
  3. Would have been cool if you had also provided footage. But yeah, you just have to understand that it's really frustrating to play against high ping players, everything you see in your POV is incredibly delayed compared to others. That's why many games have servers in different locations, so players from one end of the world and the other don't end up in the same match, because of exactly what is shown in the video that was posted. There's nothing you can do regarding your connection to the server, besides hoping for some breakthrough in connection technology. Moving to some country that is closer to the servers is a possibility, I guess As others have pointed out, your shots "miss" by a good mile and still register the damage, so I see why they'd think you're hacking. But if you were using aimbot, your shots would go through walls too. I hope Forum users start understanding the difference between aimbot and lag now...

  5. That's not the vertical hack, that's aim assist, which he has by injecting scripts if he's a PC player. 1st clip is funny, he is clearly aiming for your teammate, but his aim assist ended up hitting you instead, because you were closer to him I'd assume. That the 2nd shot goes through the wall is because of lag, the tank he hit wasn't behind the wall in his POV. But yeah, I've tested it out with mobile Tanki's aim assist, and it happened quite often that it looked like I shot through walls like that, in similar situations. It's especially sus when you see players hitting others, not you, through walls. You need to report him in the Russian forum and follow the rules in that section, and see what the moderators think. Posting it here like this will get you nowhere, unfortunately. I also keep saying that the hacking situation is wild, but no one believes it.

    Bug Reports ❗ NEW ❗

It's working as intended. The camera angle is bound to the turret when using keyboard controls. You rotate your turret by pressing X and Z, so it changes the camera angle as well, since it's bound to the turret's rotation. Not the other way around. So, you can't rotate the turret, you can't change the camera angle. That's why people switch to mouse controls, because keys are limiting you.
  7. It's not the matchmaker's fault, the whole game is simply flawed. Main issue is that people can rush through all ranks, and end up being at the Legend rank without knowing how to turn their turret. The playerbase just sucks, no matchmaker will ever fix that. And the gap between players is huge and will remain huge, because there simply are not enough players currently. What I could imagine helping is decreasing the size of both teams and making games shorter. You can't change the matchmaker without having a solid playerbase, it wouldn't increase the queue time by just a few seconds - rather minutes, because there are hundreds or whatever games going on at the same time, and all of them would try to be balanced. Which will simply not work.

    Let's Discuss PRO Battles

Suggestion is simple, give us the option to allow or disallow mobile (and in future console) players from joining PRO battles you create. Next to the aim assist people are using on PC with their scripts, the mobile aim assist is also starting to become a problem. If you figure out the controls on mobile, it's nothing more than a cheat against players who can't have it. So, there should be an option to toggle on/off cross-platform play in PRO battles, as it would make the gameplay on PC more enjoyable in some cases. Sorry to all mobile players, I understand the need of it, but it's annoying to deal with.
  9. We can now copy messages from that new chat history, which is pretty cool for translation purposes etc. But instead of having to select the whole text by hand, why isn't there some button that copies the whole message when clicked? Maybe some small button to the left of the each message, or whatever is preferred. Would be a very nice QoL addition, I feel like.
  10. Maybe try logging out and logging in again on Twitch, or try to link with other accounts, just to check if that would work? Not sure if clearing cache and all that would do much, but maybe give it a try too.
  11. If you shoot your railgun, first it charges and then it shoots. This change means that the charge is 10% shorter, which is actually a buff since it increases your rate of fire.

    hacks and trashtalker

To report someone via video, you have to go to the Russian forum under the section marked by the arrow: Then, create a topic in the underlined section, post your video and describe the crucial timestamps. You can write in English.

    hacks and trashtalker

Everyone is just gonna tell you this is miscalculations, no point in posting it here. Scripts have got really bad over the last year and unfortunately, no one is talking about them and even somewhat acting like they don't exist. The only thing you can do to get such people banned is go to the russian forum and first of all hope that your video counts as evidence (which is also insane), and then describe every crucial second in detail with timestamps. I'd also say that that is aimbot btw, especially because of that situation with the bridge at 0:21. Their aimbot didn't find a shot on you and hit your teammate instead, because he was in the aimbot's range. I bet the player who hit your teammate there giggled himself. Scripting is really easy and has gotten out of hand, we can only hope that the devs wake up and do something. I'm starting to feel like they have 0 info on em ? But yeah, sad to see that literally every game is getting swarmed by cheaters.

Why is it so hard to fix the servers?

I can imagine the servers still being under constant DDoS attacks because of what is currently going on in the world, "fixing" that is unfortunately not the easiest of tasks. I don't think this will be fixed until certain people retreat from certain places.

playing the game with one hand?

It definitely is possible to play one handed, since you don't have to rely on mouse controls. You could of course play without turning your turret, if your left hand is good you could I don't know, use WASD to drive for example and shoot using the spacebar with your thumb. I don't know what keyboard layout you have, but with this configuration my pinky would still be free, so I could bind turret rotation to Shift for rotating left and to >< (key to the right of my Shift) to rotate right. And there you go, one hand controls. If it's meant to be for the right hand, you can just mirror this to the other side of your keyboard. I have a QWERTZ keyboard, if you're interested And yeah, you can rebind all the controls in the settings, you can always make new configurations and I would recommend testing them out in private PRO battles. Just find whatever you find most comfortable.
  16. Really? In old Tanki you could have a full M3 garage by the Lieutenant rank, free to play players would never achieve this, which was a significant flaw. In that same time period, free to play players never had supplies - meanwhile, the paying audience had thousands of them, essentially making their already stronger tank twice as strong, which is also a huge flaw in my opinion. In some cases, Brigadiers had no chance against Lieutenants. Does that seem balanced? Some time after the re-balance, I think around 2013-2015, they added kits, which were getting paying players paints, hulls and turrets, up to 7 ranks (which was one HELL of a grind back then) before you could actually get them in the garage, giving them a significant advantage over free to play players. As a normal player at the Warrant Officer 4 rank, with I don't know, Thunder and Hornet M1, you were facing self-healing Isida/Viking M2 combinations that had thousands of supplies while you had none. These players with kits were practically invincible for you, killed you in seconds and it took just one of them to turn around entire 8v8 battles. This situation lasted for years. You really think this wasn't ridiculously flawed? The game has always been an unbalanced, flawed mess, everyone has always been complaining. Yet, you all seem to forget about it, which is quite funny. The pay to win factor has always existed and in newer Tanki it is just shifting, I personally don't believe that it's getting worse than it used to be. What sucks is the gambling part.
  17. It was fun for me as well, but you know why? Because many of us were kids, and this game was something new back then. Tanki was one of the first PC games I had ever played when I was a kid, of course it was fun. We didn't realize all the flaws back then and remember only the positive things because of nostalgia. If I had to play 2011's version of Tanki today and grind all the way up to Marshal, I straight up wouldn't, lol. Same goes for newer versions.
  18. Well, this wasn't meant to be a topic to discuss only this one case, it was an attempt to make people know that there are a lot of players who have been using scripts in recent times. XP/BP is literally infested, in many Discord servers people even post screenshots of themselves wallhacking (=seeing people through walls), lol. It's not really enjoyable at the moment and I can't even dare to imagine how many are scripting in matchmaking. I understand that developing an efficient anti-cheat is quite challenging, but something needs to be done regardless. It's far too easy to use scripts at the moment. XP/BP is literally starting to feel like Counter Strike 2 matches, if you're familiar with that game - or rather, with its problem regarding cheaters.
  19. The answer to this question is non-existent because this has literally NEVER been a problem, before end of last year. It makes no sense that these miscalculations would always affect only the same player. Why are other players not hitting you like that then, why always the same ones? Shouldn't it be random who hits you like this, if it's server-sided errors? Why isn't it happening only a couple times to that one player, but on every shot, no matter which map they play? Are the nicknames of these specific players, who always seem to shoot through walls like shown in the videos, hardcoded or something, so that the game always lets them do this? Isn't it a bit suspicious that players who hit you like this, often end up activating other hacks too, that make them jump or teleport around? The first 4 clips are from the same match and it's always the same player hitting me like that. I can't do more than clip the way they hit me to try and prove that that player was using aimbot.
  20. 4th reply, 3rd spoiler. I have only clips unfortunately, no actual videos. All the clips of that reply is me getting hit by the same player. Servers have been pretty crappy since August 2022, to be fair, and have been a lot worse than they are currently. Why wasn't this happening in that period of time, but only ever since the first videos of actual aimbot have appeared online, which is towards end of last year?
  21. ...again, I highly doubt that's only lag, otherwise it would affect way more players and not always the same specific ones. I have been playing for over a decade and I'm seeing this happen only since end of last year.
  22. I've seen that happen too, and in that case I believe it's just desync, so a server problem. Usually, after they shoot, you can see their turrets rotate really fast into their actual position, which is probably the game trying to resynchronize that player's turret position. Seems to happen mostly with players who are using mouse controls.
  23. From the script menus I've seen, there is no aim assist for every turret. Primarily Rail, yes, and a couple other ones.
  24. You know, I wish it's miscalculations, but just the sad fact that it's always the same players, no matter the map, no matter when the play, on every shot - proves it wrong in my opinion. It's literally always the same people doing this, who sometimes don't even lag otherwise. What's funny is that these players often end up losing patience and just turn on everything they have. Take a look at this: So first is the "shooting miscalculation" you mentioned I'd say, and then what is the second video, a... movement miscalculation, causing that player to jump (same player btw)? It's not, first clip is aim assist combined with normal lag, his shot is bending like that maybe because of what I explained replying to Maf, and second clip is, as you may have guessed, jumphacks obviously. This player jumphacking pretty much proves that it's aim assist imo, because why wouldn't he have it. Such scripts come with menus, where you can pretty much enable everything. That Vlog is from almost 3 years ago, the problem of shots appearing to go through walls didn't exist back then. What I'm showing here is affected by normal lag, what you guys are talking about, but on top of that this: Aim assist (yes, the shot did deal damage). This is a screenshot from some video I took, which was released in November 2023. Since around that time you see shots appear to go through walls. Highly doubt the screenshot is another miscalculation.
  25. Here's some more examples, since one clip isn't enough (mind you, always the same player): Lag only doesn't hit through cover like that, this right here is aim assist combined with normal lag.
