I don't question the players' logic in spending into this game (actually I do, when money is missing it would be stupid to spend them in a game, doesn't it?) but the logic of the chat mod that thinks it's silly to suggest not to spend money in crystals.

How would you know? Do you think you can think? I doubt it. That was a very true comment, and I will repeat it. Buying crystals is a waste of money, it has no impact in the real world (= in players' life... well, except the loss of the money, ofcourse... :P )

I don't think that's that. I think it means that rico's plasma balls will travel faster and reach the target faster (before target shoots back, for instance)

First you won't buy it, you'll get it for free (as if you didn't already pay it twice but that's another story) and second, getting the M3 will give you the opportunity to MU to "M4" Dude, MUs are for the given M. In the beginning I thought "here's another good update" but after some thought, I had the following realizations; 1. now there isn't any parameter gap between previous M and next one, a player can bridge the two Ms via MU 2. that's a good thing because practically everybody can make a tank into its next level, paying small amounts every now and then 3. even more, one may have practically the next M even some ranks before he can typically buy it ... 4. wait... just a minute. Can everybody do this? Can everybody pay all these MUs? 5. of course no. This update is affordable only to people that can pay a lot. (even if everybody could pay this, it means that the overall cost of Tanki has increased) 6. so practically this update has just made Tanki more expensive. 7. and of course, top buyers will exploit this fully, while on the contrary all the others will just pay for a small percentage of the given MUs... So, bottom line: an update win-win for Tanki, win for top buyers, lose for non buyers. :mellow:

I am glad you are wealthy and that's the one thing that can justify the drugs you bought. As for the rest, I 'm afraid that what I said is still valid. Even if I could buy lots of supplies I wouldn't. Overuse is really bad for the game, except maybe for generalissimos, for reasons exposed in other similar topics. If you need them in order to proceed through ranks, well, something's wrong. As for meeting me in battle, I have no objection, although I consider a bit childish this kind of "competition". What, we play a duel and the winner is the one that is right in the discussion? Primitive way of thinking. Anyway... I wouldn't want to aquire an opinion about anyone that I can't see face to face.. My dear kid, it makes you lots of things. Among them, insecure. Maybe of low performance in Tanki... if your income is not more than 2000 euros per month tit also makes you kina sucker (too much money to spend in a game that tommorrow may not exist and all your money become smoke)... it also idicates - but not for sure - that you are indifferent to what others can do or how they can compete with what you now have. Last but not least, it makes you a person of low calculative power, sinse you give that money in this rank, you should know that when - and if - you become generalissimo you would have spend X 20, 30 or 50 today's amount. All this for what? What do you really need all those drugs? Don't you get enough respect or friendship without them? You may feel a bit provocative with what you say, but you should know, all I feel in responce is sorry for you. I hope someday soon you discover what can really give you joy in life. Certainly, not what you now think it does.

Supplies are precious for the shaking of an otherwise stable / flat battle. Overuse is problematic though. So, instead of a supplies' free mode, I think that a very positive step would be the following: supply drops as usual but not garage supplies. MUs are not bad, especially after the last update that makes transision through Ms more smooth.

DM means each on their own. Isn't this so? And don't you agree that making a team in a mode that is for solo playing is a kind of cheat? It would be weird not to accept that. As long as it is considered a cheat, measures should be taken for dealing with it.* If you need 500 more moderators, then you should apply to Tanki HQ and ask for 500 moderators. They can find some, or maybe they could pay some to do this job if they want the game clear of cheats. After all, they get so much money from supplies, they could invest some in moderators. :P Although it's not my job, since you ask me, I can tell you that special filters may be used in order to locate serious violators even after the violating. There are many ideas that can make your job easier. Why not (Tanki) making a list of voted nicks and extented monitoring being applied to the top members of this list? Downloading game data from the perspective of a voted player (the exact view from his tank and all interaction with other players during the rest of the game plus a recording of the mac ID for future reference) and examining the data afterwards... besides, one violator makes many violations so going after the violator (instead of going after the violation) makes for an easier job. All these are academic and I answer only because you ask. I don't really have an opinion about DMs, and I don't insist in anything in regard to the subject. I can see your idea with a relative interest, as an alternative (hybridic) mode between DM and TDM... Those who like teams play TDM or CTF. Those who team up in DM are just scumbags that want to exploit existing individuality in DMs. They want the advantages of a team but only for themselves. That's a form of cheating. Being hard to prove teaming doesn't make it less of a cheat. Instead of making new rules that complex playing Tanki maybe you (the Devs I mean) should try to ban those scums from the game. Try finding ways to make hard or imposible teaming in DMs and in doing so you may promote advance anonymity* and lack of chat in DMs. *a way to hide names is replace them with cryptonyms made of letters and numbers, unique for each DM. EDIT: Maybe invoke a voting system, for possible teamers. Say, when two (or more) players act like team mates, the others may vote for them and if a critical number of votes is reached (30% of existing players?) then a monitoring is engaged regarding those that have been voted. This video can be available to a mod even after the game and should teaming is proved then BANG! penalties apply :)

Without protection, with drop boxes on, means that a thunder or a shaft or a railgun will definetly win (especially with a drug on). No matter what skill says. Drugs rule, next preferable option is viking / thunder. It's all about promoting drugs.... -_-

You sound logical, but I have yet to see a staff member going against a bad decision from Tanki HQ. I do understand your posision (in general, not yours spesifically), but even so, some times it would be better to not comment anything than comment "what a wonderfull update! Thank you Tanki!"... Pre ranked kits availambe, was a mistake Tanki did long ago. For the moment it admitted that it was bad choice and removed those kits, but after a while... voila! And what an excuse! "I love experiments!" :unsure: I don't mess with many things here in the forum. Just drugs and kits that are available too early, both allowing people of great financial level to aquire enormous power that ruins everybody else's game. Thanks for being so polite, after spending 1500 USD some other would believe they own the game AND the players together LOL I could answer your argument but it would be complicated with numbers and examples, so I have only one observation and a suggestion to offer. Observation: Things are not what they used to be after (1) supplies kits, (2) smart cooldown and (3) indroduction of hammer, vulkan, a dozen new paints (at the same time) and (4) rebalancing. Suggestion: Why don't you try to create a new account but without spending any real money? You would still have the advantage of experience over newbies. Try that for a couple of months* and then come here and say that it is still possible for the average player to advance normally without invesrting any real money, and therefore prooving that "buying giving you not realy much more power then other players". :) * although the difficulty increases rapidly during the second half of rank ladder, so it is relatively easier to advance through the first 4-5 ranks...

NOBODY is discriminating against buyers. It's not their fault for such a poor power distribution based on crystal purchasing. It's Tanki's fault. Tanki is to blame for the existence of such an OP dominating the battles. Tanki gave buyers the right to buy both upgraded combos, MUs, top paints and supplies. Think; four power parameters, all for sale. So, this topic doesn't even have a reason to be.

No dude, Hammer is really like a hammer. Too OP. It needs either a nurf or an increase in reload time. Preferably the first, but I can settle for the second either.
