    Complaint Book

It's been three days now, that the word "lag" doesn't even describe it. Needless to say, usual FPS / PING about 40-60... so it's not that. It seems as if Tanki starts to collapse. Is it the new update? Or something else? It even crossed my mind that flash is deliberately left to rot..... ok, that last one maybe a little extreme, but ...

On the contrary, I believe NOW is the time to state our complains, BEFORE Unity is completed and locked. Because, NOW is the time for devs to take into consideration players' issues, not AFTER they finish the code for Unity Tanki (and may have the excuse of "oops! now it's too late, we have already embedded this to the New Tanki". Only, it needs to be done in a cool way, logically, stating arguments, data, facts. And proposing possible solutions, like the ones we have gathered in the "drugging issue" topic. :)

Ain't seen anything yet... How often is this thing? Same possibilities as the gold box? :D

    Daily Cups Tournament

The setting is interesting, and provides opportunities for a good match. However, there are certain, "bad", combinations that should be avoided... for example, a team consisting of 2 or 3 firebirds or from 2 or 3 isidas. IMO elementals should restrict to one per team, or at least to same number per team. Apart from these occasions, it will be a great opportunity to see some rather large maps in action, such as kolhoz or medium-large as Industrial zone... even Chernobyl, can provide loads of good action. The main disadvantage though, is the prize... 120.000 crystals for the first team? That is cheap. Taking into consideration that for most maps teams should have minimum six players, even the first team will split 120k to six, equals to 20k maximum per member. And what if team has 8 or 10 members? Even worse for second and third teams. I mean, isn't this kinda cheap?

man, +10 I am not english language natural, so I lack expression. That's exactly what I wanted to say. It's all about attitude and bad behavior. How many times have I been on winning side, 9-0 and I begged my team mates to let the other team get one flag. Just one flag, so they can say "we lost big time but we didn't leave empty handed"... in vain. I wonder, are they like that in real life? Do they play football and like to humiliate the opponents? Don't they see the opponent team as co-players? Jesus.

    Multiple teams

Great man, thanks for the positive feedback, but the truth is that I proposed four and not six teams. Four teams arranged in two alliances. I can't find the original topic, if anyone can find it please put a link here... :)

Tanki has set the modifications of various hulls and turrets to have difference through the rank ladder, so that Thunder M2 is rather OP in relation to M3 (not in absolute numbers of course), and M4 is very OP. The reason, of course, so that players will have to buy different items on different ranks. If one stick to one combo, one will discover that at some point on the rank ladder one simply can't proceed. One's combo will be seriously UP, unless one uses drugs. Long story short, pay to proceed.

How "demanding" the game is, depents basically on the ability of each player to buy crystals. Everybody that has aquired high rank says that "the more you climb the rank ladder the harder is to proceed without buying". That is correct, since an M3 combo costs half a million crystals and a decent paint costs above 100.000 crystals. Let along the MUs, that for a single combo can surpass the million crystals. I assure you, after Tanki enforced supplies' use and removed crystal drops, the game became more competitive. Only top scorers earn serious crystals. Everybody else has to buy, in order to meet increased game needs (new items, MUs, new paints and supplies). Even more after the daily missions, because now one has to play - and possibly use supplies- in order to earn what previously was free. So, here's where the country of origin plays a significant role in whether a player can follow or not. Average wage in the US is five times the average wage in Greece where I live. Do you think for me it's as easy as it is for you to buy an expensive paint of 250.000 crystals? Certainly not. And there are countries that pay more than the US, and countries that pay less than Greece. No wonder that the arabs are always on the buyers side. To them, 50 or 100 euros or $ is pocket money. They can easily spend such amounts each week. Ask a player from Bosnia or Greece or Bulgaria if they can afford such amount every week month quarter.... You will come to understand me by the time you will reach the rank of brigarier.... maybe sooner. p.s. here's a link with average salaries all over Europe... just to realize in one look the difference in the ability for each player to buy. http://medlines.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/othar-avg.jpg p.s.2 In Russia, it would be very difficult to follow international prices, since the ruble is really low on the average wage world list http://pwc.blogs.com/.a/6a00d83451623c69e2017742c2d775970d-800wi but Tanki has provided lower prices for the Russian players. And it was a right decision. However, international players have all the same prices and thus only the wealthier countries can follow.
  11. Three things are really maddening in Tanki (for me). 1. Time for garage to load first time every day.. Takes almost for ever... 2. New anti - fly hack that causes unexpected SD at the most inconvenient time  3. Tanki decision to make in game economy so demanding that only by stealing a battle's fund (by drugging, multing or raiding) or by simply buying kits can one player advance through the upper half of rank ladder. (that is, pay to play condition) (admittedly, the third is much worse than the first two)

Easy to answer that properly. May you tell us what country are you from? :)

Growing your arsenal is now easier!

Actually you are right. I forgot to mention mults and raiders as well (as druggers). :D Also, the so-demanding economy of Tanki that forces players to buy or quit. p.s. nothing has reduced the power of druggers. Only increased use of supplies may meet the power of druggers (and that's exactly what they did) but using more supplies to lessen the relative power of druggers is like giving selling bullets to people so they can face other people with guns. Total gun-usage increased. Thanks, but no thanks.

Dude, I don't know in which Universe you are playing Tanki, but in this one, druggers rule. And frustration reigns. <_< And smart cool down was just an excuse so that everybody turns into (at least) a partial drugger, so don't bother trying to pick any of the usual dumb "arguments"... We 're done with those in the "drugging" topic http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=246957&hl=

Growing your arsenal is now easier!

Seems like a good update, but unfortunately it will take too many times good updates to even the damage you have done with drugs. Still, the game is disappointing due to druggers. And here's the proof

Quite a provocative nick. I guess, an alt account of somebody else, maybe Gssimo. Not a good idea, I think.

LOL again... words are easy and cheap. Don't mess with me, I 've got better things to do than answering irrelevant comments. Saludos

    Some final thoughts and goodbye

LOL 1. You are wrong. Try to face a M4 hammerking on drugs and you'll see (assuming you are a skilled player). 2. Top buyers can be skilled too. Extra beating for the non buyers. 3. Even so, what about the average player? Isn't the average player entitled to participating the game? Is the game only for top skilled people or top buyers and no other? So, your comment is really irrelevant to the issue.

Hey Kirby, a brave and honest little speech you gave us. Like Canadian_Eh said, those words coming out of someone like you, have extra weight. May this loss for Tanki makes them decide to change course. University is a great thing. My best wishes for success, in regard to your studies but also to your whole life. May you always excess and be one of the best. And may you always have the ability for a clear view of facts. ;) Good luck friend :)

    Tanker's Day in TO

Dude, you either didn't understand a bit of what I said, or you pretend to... Never mind though. If you think Tanki is giving a great week, be my guest. However, all those downvotes here as well as in the Russian forum rather disagree with you. Whatever the case, Tanki will get not much from this holiday. Day after day, it goes down the road of oblivion. Until it changes marketing approach, it will keep walking that road. Have a nice afternoon.

    Tanker's Day in TO

However, you are wrong, and so many downvotes should tell you something... [1] Going to one end and causing trouble is not really an argument for moving towards the opposite end. Both ends are off balance. Defining what's the proper point is something one does by taking into consideration as much data as possible. And data suggest that after the ruble fall the in-game economy was destroyed. Tanki reduced the crystals flow (funds, drops, extra sales etc) while at the same time increased the demand for crystals (new turrets / paints, prevail of supplies etc) so that practically no non-buyer, not even small buyers can respond to this demand. That's why many players moved on, and as soon as they start to realize that, the bigger the chances Tanki will be saved. [2] As I said in first part of my answer, discounts are not to be taken apart from other aspects of the game. So, they could just fine increase the funds and reduce the discount, total result being positive. But, reduce the funds AND the discounts, well, as you can see, that creates a problem to many players. So, they are right to complain. And Tanki should take this into serious consideration.

Hot info on TO Unity in V-LOG 58

Well, besides what he/she wrote afterwards (as you can see)... I think that rules are meant to apply or else chaos prevails. In Flash Tanki, Alternativa broke the rules* and started to sell premature kits, making the rank system a hollow thing. Premature kits created unbalance in battles and thus many players complained and even some have left.. (actually, more than some but that's another story)... So, in a way, rank system in Flash Tanki is destroyed. If they repeat the same system in Unity, there will be a rank ladder meant only for "poor" players. "Rich" players will be able to bypass the ladder. IF they have learned their lesson, they should make another system, with less categories (based on actual xp) that will maybe unlock not only items but maps as well. Should they choose to keep this system clean and without exceptions, it might work. So, the important thing is not how many ranks will there be, but if the existing ranks will be in effect for all or not. * the rules that define which item is available on which rank

    Tanker's Day in TO

Dude.... what you wrote is so arrogant, it's as if you said "well, you can try to leave if you don't like, I don't care"... <_< Let me tell you something. Reducing the crystal flow will only cause me and others to stop purchasing.... like I have done. So, tell your mates to give whatever they want. 0% works fine for me. Because that's what they will get in return. -_- p.s. they might as well change the names, so they refer better to reality... instead of calling this date "Tanker's day" they might as well call it "sucker's day". And instead of "Tanki Online", they should rename it to "Tanki Onpay". :D

Don't mistake the rank system with xp points. Experience will somehow be appointed to players, dividing them from newbies. What they said is simply there won't be a 30something grade ranking system. Maybe there will be two or three categories, based on xp... Or different maps / battles for different xp status. Too early to conclude. Be patient.

Flash applications are going to end, one way or the other. Regardless of Unity Tanki. Maybe some issues are not solvable through flash. Maybe flash is good for a small size - plain graphics game, but as Tanki grows and as time passes and new ideas are implemented in the game industry, flash becomes obsolete. The problem for Alternativa is how to make a complete transfer without losing neither players, nor money. Especially when a new kind of economy and in game interactions are needed, because we have seen where have the old ones taken us...
