I've got a quick question; how many MUs are needed to make Thunder M3 stay effective as ranks pass? Mine is 11/50, and is doing excellently at my rank. I just want to know how well it'll be doing at ~ vs ~ vs ~ . Thanks.

I was wondering how well Firebird M3 goes after Marshal, without MUs. I figured this was the topic for it. Do I need to MU a Fire (say I buy Prometheus) from stock for it to be effective? If I MU'd the first 10 steps without a sale, it'd cost 44.3k. The first 20 steps costs 168.9k. 15 steps is 96.6k. This is not including speed-ups. When I get Prom, how far should I MU my Fire, and is it worth it at all? By the way, upgrading nine steps improves my reload by only one tenth of a second and an extra 1.9 damage including burn. Thanks for this.

If we were just comparing weapons, Hammer is by far better. As for maps: Noise: Rico does fine here (people say that Rico was made for this map), but at M2 it isn't really OP. Hammer would be good to use, because you are able to retreat into your base for reloads easily enough. The map is smallish, so Hammer has no problems. You just see Firebirds (and Twins) more often. Hammer. Rio: Rico has the range advantage, so is therefore better than Hammer. Even so, (like Firebird) Hammer can be used in Rio well, if the user is experienced. Hammer also has more range than Fire, so if you get close enough you'll do fine. Rico, however, doesn't really need to worry about getting closer to enemies. It's more common in Rio for this reason. Rico.

I'm not quite sure about the paints, so I'll leave that out of the picture. I wouldn't think an m3.5 Thunder would dominate with ease (I haven't been there though), and although Isida is helpful and apparently OP, it is still an early M3. Your second option gives you a later M3 and something else to use. Hulls is just the Viking and Hunter situation. Hunter is better in Serpuhov (for example), and Viking's probably better when you cannot avoid enemy fire (Poly DM). I would personally go with 2, without considering paints. I'll try to consider them (briefly); Option 1 gives you decent (sometimes decent, that is) protection from 4 turrets and option 2 protects well against 5 turrets. Going of this (ignoring the actual protections, and the prices) option 2 seems to be better, again.

Just to let you know, there actually is already such a kit; Huntsman. It unlocks . Find it in the expired product kits section here: http://en.tankiwiki.com/Product_kits

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's when you pass the unlock rank of the items, that the kit disappears.

Heh, I meant that to be a list. I am going for Prom, but if there is a sale on Hornet I'll get that too (before Prom because it unlocks first). If I'm not be earning enough crystals for both, I might just skip Hornet.

I'm not a buyer, so I'll need to use my crystals well. I'm planning to make Firebird my main weapon, but it costs over 900k to MU it completely, and that isn't including speed ups. I could go to 15 steps (100k) if I have that much to spare. I also have Thunder M3, which people reckon isn't strong enough to last a long while into the M3 ranks. I've only MUd it to the 11th step. So, I'll be stuck with only two turrets, one of them not up to scratch. Do I buy another turret later, or only put MUs into Fire (or MU Thunder)? Again, my question is where do I spend my crystals, and how far do I MU? I'll be rank. Thank you all for this. Multiple answers are appreciated, no matter what you say.

You need another 81k exp until you reach . If you earn 1k crystals per 1k exp like you said, then you would have another 81k on top of what you have now (104k). Your profile, however, would say that you would only earn 55k before you reach WO5, according to last week. If you keep playing like you did this week, you would earn around 60k. You wouldn't have enough, but don't forget that kits stay open until you pass the unlock rank of the items in the kit (until ?). Are you happy with the items you have now? If so, then keep going. If not, then maybe consider the M1s, or an earlier kit.
