On a WO1 alt, I was planning to get M1 Wasp during this sale. I'm now not too sure. I have M1 Firebird and M1 Shaft, along with Titan M1. Wasp/Shaft is fun, but not very practical. If a Rico has you in its sights, you have very little chance to live once it starts firing. As for Wasp/Fire, It's fun, but might lack health (M1 Wasp barely has more than M0 Hornet). On top of this, I don't want to centre this account on Fire, as I did that on my main. An alternative to Wasp is Vik M1. I had it on my main, and for that reason I didn't want it on this. Even so, Vik is steady, has more health and pairs fine with both turrets. I've got ~18k, and Vik costs 14k, Wasp 10k. I could go for either, as I'm trying to try new combos. Vik isn't new to me, and neither is a Fire combo. On a completely different hand, I could possibly get a turret tomorrow. Freeze, Rico or Isida (Smoky isn't great and I've used it). Thanks.

If you are topping battles, then maybe consider waiting for Medic or Raiden, as then you won't be overlapping, and get an M3 instead of paying for M2 Mammoth. If you don't think you'll be reaching the amount of necessary crystals or exp in a while, then maybe Ant kit.

Can I ask what people think of the Hero kit (Dic M1, Rail M1 and Pixel)? I want to get M1 Rail on an alt; trying to play all different turrets, and Rail is one I haven't used much. It costs 52k.

Heh, you said "some" crystals for Prom.. You mean nearly 500k. Anyway, your plan sounds sweet, as long as you aren't suffering with the M1 Wasp.

Alright, fair enough. In that case, MUing is a good idea. Just make sure you get M2 Wasp. I haven't played with Wasp very much (M0, and M1 soon on an alt) but I have with Hornet. It's my favourite hull, but M2 doesn't have enough health where I am at now. So I'm using Viking. Fire/Hornet has been my "dream combo" in a way, but I know Wasp is fun too.

If you want to be a Midfielder, go for Minotaur. If you play large (to medium) maps, and want to be mid, consider Northerner (if you want). If you absolutely do not care about positions, Atlas is fine, and so is Minotaur. Depends on your style.

Since you will have M4 Smoky, M4 Viking would pair with it well. Your Isida might suffer a bit, but your main combo will be great. A good combo that's completed (Viking/Smoky) would most likely be better than two half finished combos. What Shadow was suggesting was that you could split your crystals between Vik and Isida. You know, instead of one as M3.5 (Isida, for example) and the other (Viking) M4, both would be M3.75. That way, you'd have a useable Isida, and Viking, plus Smoky as M4. I would either do what I mentioned above, or MU Viking to M4.

Do you have another account, or are these your plans for the future? Your plans seem to be alright; the only issue you may have is MUing. M3 Wasp to M4 costs 745 500 crystals, and Firebird around 960k. I haven't looked at Hunter yet, and I should (I'm planning to get Prom, too)... So, it costs 807 750 crystals to fully MU Hunter. Unless you buy, you have a long path of earning and MUing ahead of you. I have that issue ahead of myself too, and that's why I'm changing decisions all the time. If I have a large pile of crystals that'll make a noticeable difference in my turret, then I'd happily MU. I'll only have 200k (enough to MU 20~ steps) and I don't think that'll make a huge difference, will it (4.2 more damage than stock, including burn time)? So, either I dump a heap into it that'll get it over half-way to M4, or I leave it. If you are happy with only those items, then MUing over time / during sales would be fine. I myself am considering other hulls and turrets however, so I'm not sure about MUing yet. Like I said, I'll either go for a large amount of MUs or almost none.

44k spent, for one tenth of a second's improvement in reload, and 1.9 damage increase..? Or, I could spend everything I have at the time (anywhere from ~100k-200k+?) on it. That might win me around 20 steps. On the other hand, I might be able to buy Guardian or Cardinal later on, with enough saving. Or another turret on its own. I think I'll just see how many crystals I have at the time, and look at the sale discounts, etc. and decide then. :) I probably won't MU it that far, as such a small improvement isn't really worth it (I'll either go further or less).

You only want to MU one item (besides Smoky)? Why? Anyway, have you MU'd any of your other hulls to max? If you have MU'd at least one to max that you actually use, go for Isida. If you don't have an M4 hull, then MU Viking. You'll have Smoky M4, and that'd go well with Vik M4.

A load of stuff that became a large post: I keep arguing for both sides, so I'll just tell you what I think here (if you don't want to read, and possibly become confused). Minotaur is better for mid-fielding on small-medium maps. Northerner would be a better pick for larger-medium maps (mid-fielding). Atlas is fine for general use, and does excel, too. Anyway, I would go for Minotaur.

Alright, thanks. I'll look into the cost, etc. and probably MU it the last bit during a sale. That's what I did to get it to 11 in the first place. As for the stronger turret, I am guessing that Prometheus fits in that category? And after that.. I'll need to consider other things to save for. Maybe one of the Titan kits? Or a turret on its own? Yeah, it is. I've probably used it the most of all turrets. The range restriction sometimes irritates me, though (Thanks, Thunder!). Alright, sounds good. Just mentioning what I said earlier: Is it worth MUing it this far during a M.U. sale? I'd be using speed-ups, too, which I haven't counted as part of the price for ten steps.
