Well who wastes an RK when they are under attack by AP freeze? It's the same thing as not being able to use one. In some ways it's worse - cuz some players might think it's gonna help them... ?

No. They shafted all those drone users by making the mines disappear. That's totally against why the drone was created and why players bought it. On a side note can't find a single decent CTF battle. Every single one of them is already 2-0 (or much worse) when I get placed there. And guess which hull is doing all the capping... -

are ya sure is 30k batteries though? We always get a lot less of those than everything else. I might have 40k mines, but not even 1/10 of that in batteries. No idea how you accumulated 30k batteries, even if hardly ever using them... Or did you get a large batch when the paint-to-module conversion happened? The compensation for having multiple protections... -
It's just brutal on maps like Sandbox. In a Siege battle, the cap-points are half-way between the teams. An enemy spawned 20m from our team as we were capping and that tank was able to kill one of ours before we could even affect it all. In this case it had nothing to do with spawn-killing.

So you've not been using them... at all? Or you bought a bunch? I never had close to that many - even when I had no drones to use them on. Guess you can upgrade whichever drone you like if you have that many. Still good idea to upgrade Brutus every now and then as those 30k will deplete since it appears they only give batteries in the weekly containers. But whatever you do - get a drone to 20/20 ASAP so your supplies work at full value. -
It does not need to be in groups to ruin the battle. The OD (status immune, Jammer aura, AP aura, healing) + Tesla/Freeze + EMP augment + the right drone (booster/Defender/Crisis/Trickster) enables them to cap at will or kill multiple enemies - by themselves. Tesla and freeze are OP melee turrets that have massive synchronicity with Paladins short-range auras. Have seen this done many times - after the last patch.

Oh it still is. They still manage to fight AND KILL three enemies, without any help. Been in battles where Paladin was doing ALL the capping in a 5-0 CTF battle. They are especially OP on smaller maps where there's no where to hide from their AP aura. The "nerfs" to paladin have been almost negligible. They either need to remove the AP aura entirely, or cut the duration of the OD in half. The OD can last while crossing the entire length of even the largest maps.

AP Magnum can still get plenty of kills. It's used as a short-range turret like Hammer or Ricco. EVERY direct hits bestows the lovely AP status.

1) they won't have time to build up supplies - even now both my accounts are low on batteries because TO IS SO FRANKING CHEAP. 2) you don't think players will quit when they can't compete? Ranking is not synonymous with being good. Player base is "very small" partly because new players don't stick around. The boost has been around for quite some time. They are not leaving because progress is too slow. They are leaving for other reasons. -

Disagree. Ranking up fast, besides the issues already described above has another one... Getting to mid-upper ranks quickly too soon is not good for keeping players around. By "too soon" I mean in-game experience. Players need to "learn the ropes" about all sorts of things.... maps, movement, tactics (though TO has done their best to kill this aspect). If they have to play legends before they can even turn their turret, with mk6 items, they will get slaughtered. In-game experience is very valuable. Ranking up quickly means players will have a lot less in-game experience when they play tankers who have 1) better equipment and 2) a lot more in-game experience. it was a terrible decision to have that increased exp. -

There's no way TO wants fewer players in the base. MM won't work without a certain threshold of regular players. The fewer players there are, the wider the rank-spreads for MM need to be to populate battles. If the newbies are regularly playing Legends, no matter how much $ they spend they won't be able to compete with established players dur to rank-limits on items. They will get squashed and quit in frustration. The incoming new players who stick around will not make up for those leaving. Bad model. -

Trooper might be more effective - but - it uses up batteries. Not sure about you but my stockpile keeps getting smaller and there's no relief from containers - I don't think are are ANY batteries in containers. Best you upgrade Brutus as well - unless you have 1000+ batteries. They deplete quickly when you use drone regularly. -

Brutus is so cheap you don't even need sales to upgrade. And the way they are (not) dishing out batteries many of us will be using Brutus. It's ridiculous how rare the batteries are in containers. But hey - I keep getting plenty of paints ? -
I hope you mean Vampire nanobots... as there's no way Support is Legendary.

Man, those Ultra Containers are just trash. Opened 15 and got... a few crystals, lots of supplies (NO batteries as usual) and ... First Love paint. Come! ON! ?

Part of this can be attributed to weekly missions that players can't change. If that's the only mission they need to complete there's no incentive on staying on the losing team. Those missions should be removed, or switched to top-4 in battle, regardless of winner-loser. Even more prevalent now with that special mission out there where you need to be on winning team each day to complete it.

There's no way adrenaline is stronger than AP unless you are almost dead. then... you die. If you think there are better garage augments, use them. "Legendary" augments are supposed to be hard to obtain - not ruin the balance. They give a tactical option not available to garage augments. Use them - or don't. But you won't find many in sympathy with you because they don't give you even greater advantages.

PER TICK. Wow. So you can't play the game without being able to kill enemies in 1 second? 200% critical - 45% is plenty, considering you've made the target naked during your attack. You've gotten so used to having god-mode-on with the original version that you struggle with what is still lethal. ?

What? AP freeze still does 100%+ damage on criticals. How much damage you need? With no armor or module protection enemies don't last long at all Even if YOU don't make the kill one your team-mates surely will.

Agreed. They are much slower, but really might offer 1 extra second of survivability in a battle. Doesn't seem the trade-off of speed for armor is much worth it when a wasp armed with certain augments can destroy you in 2 seconds. The only reason to equip heavy hulls is if you want that OverDrive for a specific strategy. The hull itself... meh.

Face it MANY of the status turret augments are OP. Since we mostly play team battles... 1) we can't protect ourselves against majority of statuses 2) Once hit with a status you are probably destroyed shortly after. If not by the one giving you status, then by one of the many team-mates of that person. Except for OP hulls like Paladin, even the heavy hulls don't last long in this game. Game is now designed for people with short attention spans and little imagination in the way of strategy.
