That's just the way things happened to work out for YOU - in that specific battle mode. For many others - and especially in modes like Siege, Rugby or CTF where there are fewer overall caps - it matters a lot more. Losing 1 minute of capping out of 14 is insignificant - considering battles at one point were only 7 minutes long. If you buckle-up, I'm sure you can adjust.
-
Well that's 60 seconds into the battle. At least some defenders would have loaded by that time - they could have destroyed you long before the flag appeared. In the old system that would probably have been your second cap of the battle. Up 2-0 after 1 minute. The system can only do so much with respect to incompetent players.
-
You've missed the point entirely. A small fix is better than no fix. If you can't agree on that you might as well quit - cuz you are hopeless.
-
No - in the old system you had ONE side racing toward the point. Even worse in Rugby or CTF where a cap means a LOT more.
-
And yet they dance around on the battle-field like a dragonfly. They may not perform to your expectations - but the eye-test says they have more advantages than weaknesses. I can only imagine how much better they'd do if they DID meet your expectations.
-
Much? I don't play them at all - I refuse to buy into that META. But I see what they can do every battle. Often impossible to hit ballistic turrets. They have way better lateral movement than you suggest. And I notice the wasp did not do the tight wall cornering - the only one that looked difficult for the hovering hull. Other than that, barely a difference - not enough to make up for the hovering advantages.
-
What a dumb analogy. I mean really, really dumb. This fix actually fixes something - even if it's not the fix you want most. But you are too blind to see that.
-
It's ALL annoying. But not wanting a change that fixes one of the issues (even IF it's only 10%) makes no sense at all.
-
Updates for money? That's not the topic at this point. It's matching by rank or GS. If you match by GS there's no incentive to upgrade, or spend $ to get an advantage. If players stop spending $ because they can't get an advantage the game will collapse dur to lack of income. It makes the battle fairer AT THE START. 4k GS vs 9k GS is a completely different issue. The two issues are NOT linked. And you mention "completely filled"... well there's at least SOME defenders right? Better than NO defenders. Not having enough players to fill a battle is a third issue. Seems to me you just have the inability to wait 60 seconds to play a game. That's your problem.
-
What the frank are you talking about? The game makes money because buyers are willing to shell out $ to have a higher GS score than players of similar rank. If these buyers can't get that advantage, they will stop buying and the game will fold. It's not rocket science - yet you still can't grasp that. ?
-
You don't seem to understand the motive to spend money in this game. GAME. WOULD. FOLD.
-
LOL they don't need a turning circle when they have strafing. They seem to move more than capably on the battlefield - don't seem handi-capped at all.
-
Game would fold in 2 months with no revenue coming in. Why do you think players spend $ on the game?
-
With 15 min battles not a big deal. If it was 7-min battles that's be a diff story. I'll give up 1 minute on 15 to have a fair start.
-
This solves ONE of the problems of TO. Baby steps. Maybe the other issues eventually get addressed. Who knows. But campaigning against solving one problem because other issues are not also solved is silly.
-
I'm not understanding your position. It will be fairer for everyone joining the battle - in terms of one team not being able to cap while the other is not prepared. That's a totally reasonable trade-off for waiting up to a minute to join the battle. What is your hurry? You prefer battles where a team gets a free cap and then half players on other team exit? How is that possibly better? EVERYONE crying about waiting 60 seconds to play a game needs to grow up.
-
Big reason for your wait time was lack of players. If there's you and 10 other people all trying for 2 or 3 battle-modes you would definitely have long waiting times. I really don't think waiting 1 minute or so for a fair battle is a burden. Would you spot an opponent team a goal to start a soccer game?
-
This happens way more often than you suggest and it ruins the battle from the outset. Why do you think they have added this function? Those players you mention in TX may have loaded before others, but they could not score. So what if it takes up to a minute. If you have more important things to do - do those before logging into the game.
-
Bad solution. Why would anyone spend $ on the game? Tighten the rank-spreads and MM will be better - especially after they created the extra equipment levels. Those extra levels are wasted with super-wide rank-spreads.
-
Have you never been in a battle where enemy team is scoring before your team has finished loading? The "wait time" was NOT one of the reasons TX failed. It was actually one of the few good ideas the game adopted. If you can't wait 30-60 seconds for a fair battle maybe you should go play a game where cheating is encouraged.
-
Are you serious? ?

Contracts? The response in that re-post is, as usual for the Devs, no explanation.
-
1) Entire team will be punished if the current JUG dosn't follow these rules. 2) Sometimes camping is the only way one team stands a chance - if they are overmatched, as we all know MM is far from perfect in setting up balanced teams. If they realize they are overmatched early, many will just hit exit. 3) If ur gonna force the JUG out in the open, what's the solution about viking OD? There's a reason so many players use viking in TJUG.

update Patch Update #679 - Released 18th February 2022

Because outside of Clans/groups the co-operation you suggest does not exist. It just doesn't. Most battles are just random players playing more random players. And "swapped to the only one your group didn't have" is just fantasy. But you keep campaigning for 2 hull augments and watch the game implode. I really don't care as I've stopped playing - for reasons already stated. -

You have a very odd perspective. There are too many tanks in the battles and too many different turret augments to make it worth it to visit the garage to switch. Unless all players are riding in a Paladin it doesn't matter. No one is invulnerable. Switching hull augments just makes you vulnerable to one of the many other status effects on the battle field. How can you possibly not understand this?
