Agreed. The garage update favors players with limited choices but fully upgraded items. And does the opposite - punished players with many choices but not as many upgrades. They can't take advantage of their variety of equipment. -

Part of it I guess. They changed the drone a while ago - if you die while drone is in cooldown the mines disappear. Or something to that effect. So it's possible to lose a bunch of mines, even though that's what the drone was originally designed to prevent. this is it... "Make sure not to get killed twice within 30 seconds - if you die while the drone is in cooldown, your mines will not be saved!" So won't happen all the time. But in crowded maps you can easily die 2x in 30 seconds. Won't help if you're being spawn-killed that's for sure.- 2,764 replies

Yup - I've opened hundreds of containers, including Ultra - and got 1 container with batteries. They want us to spend $$ on batteries or be relegated to using Brutus. Batteries are now what all the supplies were 7 years ago - mostly available only through $ purchases. Notice how batteries are missing from the mini-kits in daily shop?

Ah... misread that as Trickster going downhill. Crisis still is very potent if used right. Just have to be smart about it - no automatic wins.

Agreed. Been saying this for a while. There's no justifying this hulls abilities. But some will try - most often the ones taking advantage of it.

This makes no sense - at all. Maybe you want a retry and re-word it? -
A bit? On any turret that has bonus critical damage (like Rail, Freeze, etc) 40%+ reduction would amount to more than "a bit". It also negates the Supercharge ability since that creates Critical hits. The following turrets have bonus damage that would be affected... Fire / Freeze / Smoky (Autocanon LOL) / Striker/ Vulcan / Rail / Gauss / Shaft / Terminator The list above is not insignificant.

Maybe I care about the game in general. Why would low or mid-rank players stick around? I wouldn't start a new account today because of the ridiculous changes Devs have implemented - from paying in TKs for module slots, to the crazy fast ranking to the stupidly wide rank-spreads in matchmaker. Sometime it's not just about "you". -

Padding the KD and scoring won't slow down the fast progression. But it will contribute to a poor battle experience - especially for that players team-mates. But hey - if you don't care about that and losing is fine because your team is not trying to win - have at it. -

1) KD means nothing at all because it is so easy to pad. 2) You think healers should have a KD near 1 and that above 0.80 is ... not bad? 3) Cappers might have a very low KD. Maybe 0.5 or 0.3 ... because they are busy completing the battle-mode requirements and don't even try to kill other tanks. They may fail 10 ties, but their 3 successful attempts could easily be the difference between winning an losing. TLDR ... KD is in no way an accurate measure of a tankers ability. -

So... just sweep it under the rug? This is the reason why many battles suck. Of course players will leave - I do. But that's not good for the game. Nor for the players still in the battle. Bad for the "losers" who will be playing short the rest of the battle and for the leaders who will have less opposition to score against. Some of these battles end so quickly half the players on each team don't meet the min requirement for any stars. How is that good for the game overall? -

Yup - it will still be able to travel the length of a large map with OD active the entire time. And we all know they will find ways to get it charged much faster. I've seen vikings get OD many, many times during a 15 min battle. -

Twins still play with a brick on the spacebar. None of them use Stable Plasma with all the other augments available. Have you not played the game recently? And who cares if the vulcans play like "brain-dead (animals????)" - they should be easier to kill - considering they are "brain-dead" and don't have any of the other important immunities equipped. -
Even 2 seconds would still be "too bad" since it can prevent a player from using it's OD indefinitely. How do you think that's ok? No status effect should be applied on every shot. It boggles the mind that Devs thought think this is a good idea. Once this Challenge is done I'm taking a break from TO. One account has 1000TKs - just in case. But I'm sick and tired of the way Devs are ruining the game. It's no longer fun.

Every Shot? Even if you reduce it to 2 seconds, with an augment that can be used EVERY SHOT, it can prevent anyone (except maybe wasp) from using it's OD, since all the ODs have a 1.1 second delay. Good luck to Hunters and Mammoths that pretty much need to be in range of a Hammer to activate. An augment neutralizing enemies ODs. That's just stupid.

Well, poster said "spawn point" which is where the tank appears. You are referring to CAP point and maybe that was the intent. And yes, moving from point to point to point and killing enemy cappers does help the team. In previous post tanker had said never EVER plays by the mode, so they may or may not go from point to point to point doing that. I just left 2 CP battles because the majority of my team were cowards and tried to leave the "heavy lifting" to just a couple other tanks who kept getting killed at the cap-points. Our team was of course getting stomped because - surprise surprise - kills don't increase the TEAM score. Capping does. Suck it up and die for the team once in a while. Or go play DM. -

Why? If they are using HI... 1) they get no damage bonus from it 2) they can only equip 1 hull augment. So if they equip HI they are totally vulnerable to stun/AP/EMP/Freezing Most vulcan's are not using HI. Some sure, but a lot are using Adrenaline, some IB and some RAT.
