NO. The RCG alteration allows the turret to rotate, but then it has no elevation. Same keys are used so it can only do one or the other.

Hornet makes many turrets OP. But I agree with you on what needs to be done on Gauss. Splash radius AND splash damage needs to be lowered. Of course hull matters. Hunter is not getting 48/12 with Gauss. Neither is Mammoth. Same with wasp unless 48 enemies drive up to it. Only Hornet OD makes every enemy completely vulnerable. Magnum can get the same amount of kills due to... high damage + splash + no defenses.

Which is why the blast radius & blast damage should be lowered. But Magnum has the ability you mention - no laser there.

Oh... I misunderstood - thought you meant instead of a "laser" it's a static stream - extending to target from the Gauss. My mistake.

So you want the equivalent of a laser and a lock-on? So making it harder to get a hit than shaft, but with less damage than shaft?

Kind of hard to do if you don't have Wasp in your garage though, right?

Max damage gets a (small) decrease of 15%. Still has splash. So if it just misses you it will do 85% of the splash damage + it lays a mine which your tank can readily run over.

Your pole is biased in favor of Freeze - big time. Having only 2 (3.?) options - all at 75% or better is not a proper way to go about it. You need a couple more ranges that go between the current 10% and your still high 75%. Else anyone who does not agree with 75%+ will just vote no / no. -

With a GS score at that rank - you don't need to know what you are doing. That player could plant the tank in middle of the map and just shoot at whatever moves and get a great score. -
I am on record - numerous times - as saying that indirect-fire weapons do not belong n TO. But they are here, and so are Rails, which can also one-shot medium hulls that are spawning. So the question going forward with the items currently in the game is - why is hornet-OD allowed to kill spawning tanks?

A hornet-magnum with DD can one-shot a medium hull before it finishes spawning. Yeah, that's just awesome and great for gameplay. If you can't even agree on that I'd say we have nothing more to discuss.

Just left a CTF battle where it was 9 tanks vs 7 tanks. LMAO. Other team (with 9 tanks) capped 2 flags before half my team even moved. Was an easy decision to exit that game.

No one is stopping you from using supplies or drones - that's your decision. So defending Hornet because you choose not to make use of available resources is disingenuous. It's not like hornet affects you much - you barely have any modules to speak of and have not sunk resources into that - unlike many others. Well - you do use some supplies - mines. I guess that helps out with camping. Can you at least admit that bypassing spawn-protection is just dumb?

Well, this is for 7-min MM battles, not longer pro-battles. anything close to 700 is way above average. So a few players might approach that - but majority will not. Just finished a CP battle on Highland - notorious for lots of deaths. Top 3 scores were 525, 400, 335, and the other 13 players were ~ 300 or lower.

Shake your head all you want. Must be coincidence it's the ONLY hull you use. right? Dodge... lol... with long range turrets you can just camp or hide or both. Congrats on your totally unbiased opinion.

Well, these missions have ONE benefit... they are encouraging people to do math. Ha-Ha.

How do 5 defenders not kill 1 tank carrying the ball? Unless they ALL have short-range turrets like fiebird, I can't see you not taking lethal damage on the way in. And no mines? Sounds like a noob team - learned nothing after the first time. A perfect storm comes every now and then but I would not excpect that to be a common occurence.

Well that's just friggin' awesome. (hope the sarcasm isn't too subtle) Have neither. Lots of players with only a couple combos on their accounts would not qualify. It's pretty sad they are resorting to this. And the only accounts that would welcome the extra XP would be gismos or Legends, or those just shy of ranking up to unlock something. Otherwise the bonus XP is not a bonus - it's a detriment. So... 2 weeks with less incentive to play. Are they trying to kill the game? For every no-lifer giving thumbs-up to this there's tons of casual players who hate these types of events. TO is driving away the casual players. When even more casual players leave - good luck!

It's only reasonable if you have them in your garage. Noticed that along with the 1.75x for crystals they just balanced it out with 1.75x exp as well. So if you're on the losing team you fall further behind. LOL.

But you need a Wasp + long-range to qualify for the skin. Can't believe you introduced a special mission that requires items many players might not have. Neither of my accounts qualify. Very Disappointing.

- create a lobby to load players into for battles so one team is not capping flags before the other team has entered the battle - tighten the rank-spreads in MM so Lt. Generals are not playing Legends. Better to start a battle 5 vs 5 than to have rank-spread of 8. - more time between Challenges. Yeah the no-lifers like them. But these ruin battles for the casual players - and there are a LOT of casual players. - And fix the broken Hornet OverDrive. It's an abomination. I know it's considered the "darling" of TO, but it's just ridiculous how powerful it is.

This is not true. I am a casual player - and have ranked up to Legend without spending a penny. Have more supplies (except for batteries) than I will ever need. The missions/containers give you enough supplies and crystals to remain competitive within the battles. I have to make more choices than buyers do - limited number of combos and fewer / less upgraded drones. And don't bother with Challenges. But I've been playing since 2015.
