Not necessarily. I have 1 account with striker and 1 account with Gauss. And striker still has a long way to go to be decent. It's not Gauss holding this account back from using striker. Striker is holding me back.

You are basically cutting it's OD range in half. Are you at least removing the 1.1 second delay with this suggestion? And if you really want to treat it as an EMP - walls would not prevent it's effects. -
Except - Hornet and Viking can do this very easily. Press spacebar and then flag drops. It's the exact same thing. You make this sound like it's an insignificant requirement. It's not. Range is a huge tactical component. Else why have turrets with short/medium/long ranges? There are as many hornets in all the battles I play as there are hunters - because they get a high score by racking up kills. Same with Viking. There are a ton of them in every battle - because they get 1-3 kills every time they use OD. You can not say that for Hunter. It can't kill that many tanks unless they are all side by side and the Hunter is using fire or freeze with DD.

I don't get why you are ok with hornet-OD one shotting a flag carrier and that flag is dropped but not Hunter's ability. At least Hunter has to be close to the carrier. Between Dictators and the OD-supply drops, viking gets OD much, much more often than 1x battle. Why do you think there are still so many Vikings.

Non-killing way? What? My point was Viking and Hornet can make you drop the flag - from a long distance away - by pressing spacebar. And you know full well some OD enhance killing to the point of it being all but guaranteed = dropped flag. You are using ridiculous semantics by having the argument revolve around "1 button". But if it helps your narrative... ?

self damage on a snipe? What the _ _ _ _? Gauss does avg damage ~ to magnum, so why should it take 2x as long to reload, let alone longer to reload? If you want to be taken seriously at least put some thought into it and make reasonable suggestions. But it was awful generous of you to point out that not ALL of your suggestions should be adopted. ?

Sure - I liked it when you could heal. But there's always RK, and it's not the end of the world. Only part I don't like is dome cancelling other dome. I forget - does the 2nd dome stay? (that would be dumb - they should just cancel each other - you have to choose to sacrifice it - or not) As an aside - anyone getting system error preventing you from entering battles?

Would protect defender longer - maybe they can activate supplies etc while "protected". I don't like that spawner has invincibility and can still hit targets on other side of map. That is not what it was intended for. You can literally spwn, shoot someone 100m away and duck under cover before you can be damaged. That seems reasonable? -

Holy crap! Why not just remove everything from Hunter and make it a normal hull. 1) You are not automatically dead if your supplies are re-set. Especially if you have dictator - since ODs are not re-set. Hunter OD does nothing to modules - so you are still protected by those. 2) Can't believe the number of players crying about losing the flag in Assualt mode due to Hunters OD. Tell me - what happens when a Rail-Hornet with OD+DD hits the flag carrier. Or a Viking with OD hits the flag carrier. What happens to the target? What happens to the flag?

I just used it in sandbox Rugby. I kept placing dome in middle of map and spawnkilling enemy. Top place finish. I also used it in Seige mode on Kunger. 3rd place finish. Stop complaining. It's not the dome. IT's YOU.

How is Titan Dome worthless? It still gives you 90% protection.

I wasn't suggesting you stop using supplies. I was suggesting you should be able to function periodically without them. If you can't - practice in no-supply battles so you become more proficient for the times you can't use supplies. EVERY turret can make you drop a ball/flag in rugby and assault. Viking and Hornet are actually better at returning the flag because they can do it from a much greater distance than Hunter can. Not sure how rugby is such a big deal though - ball sits there.

Yeah... just worked for me. And... wow. In non-spawn-killing situations, that's unfair. My smoky was dealing damage to enemies on other side of map and they could not touch me. Don't think that was the intent. -

Spawn-killing was happening long before archipelago was introduced. ODs have just made it more easy to do. -
Vulcan? Well there's your problem. Vulcan is terrible up close - rotation up close makes it impossible to track enemy. With 50% weak damage you want to be medium distance or further. Vulcan is much, much more effective when it has room. Yes, Twins, hammer, ricco, fire and freeze excel up close. they need to since they can't do any damage to you from a distance. But there's plenty of maps in MM where vulcan can shine if you use it right. End up in a small map - you need to switch. If you have painted yourself into a corner with just one combo - that is a strategic mistake - especially with a turret like Vulcan.

So... play for a year (or 2) and then you can win without paying? I'm not saying TO should change their model - without revenue there is no TO. But we need to call a Spade a Spade... the game - literally - is pay to WIN. In the low to mid-ranks, buyers have a HUGE advantage and will, more often than not, be the "winners" of the battles - complete their top-3 missions, get the most stars and get the lions share of the battle-funds.

Why can't you kill that fire-hunter before it gets in range of either the turret or the OD? You can't function without supplies? At all? Maybe you need more practice in no-supply battles. What exactly would you leave it with after you nerf it again? You realize hornet and viking can kill you from much farther away than Hunter can right? Why is having supplies on cool-down much worse than guaranteed death? It makes no sense.

Big IF. My point stands - no Hunter is going to risk it for that small chance of a gain.
