Maybe it will be grandfathered in... that even if in new system you would not technically qualify (because on rank) for a high mk (say mk5)... you will get it anyawy. The new system might just prevent anyone with a current m2.1 from stepping up to mk5 until they eventually reach the correct rank. At least I hope that's how they are doing it. -

The solution is to buy a ridiculously expensive drone - and have that active every battle where it sucks away super-expensive batteries - all to counter an OverDrive that is given for free and just needs some inexpensive supplies? Oh wait a sec... that was sarcasm... amirite? (is scout the alt that lets Rail fire basically as fast as smoky?) -
A change from 25 down to 10 would probably be reasonable.

Was in the middle of being loaded to a battle... then that message came up. Tried refreshing with no luck. The closed browser and tried to log back in and same message appeared. So I guess the "not loading garage" wasn't quite accurate - it would not let me log-in at all. Issue went away after 10-15 min.

With your theory it would just take longer for battle to start. That's not what happened. It started 6 vs 8 and stayed that way. It's broken if it gives one team 8 players and the other 6 - but starts the battle anyway.

I beg to differ with you on 1) Rank spreads of 6-8 are just way too wide. It is patently unfair to the tanks at the bottom of that spread regardless of how teams are balanced. They are unlikely to score well or complete missions or gain stars. And... I just finished a CTF battle that was 6 vs 8 the entire battle. At no time during the battle did my team gain a 7th tank.

Just finished a CTF battle that was 6 vs 8 the entire battle. We never had 7 (or more) tanks at any time in the battle. Matchmaker is a piece of junk.

Buyers still take the lion share of the top-spots in battles but F2P tankers can compete and be successful (depending on your definition). My Lt. General account has 3 hulls and 3 turrets all at m2.9, 2 drones upgraded half-way and about 12 of the 14 modules at 29-32%. Unless the rank-spread is stupid-wide (happens) I can place in top-3 of my team regularly. -
Sorry - to be clear I meant there were a lot of buyers, as opposed to a lot of "OP buyers". And yeah - the battle pass I would guess is popular as it is probably the best ROI.

Well... "split the difference" was one of my suggestions - so it would not be 4 min. LOL... as if this has stopped them from making changes in the past. ? before it ends? How about before it starts... #hunter If they can't get a kill during the (possible) 20 seconds that's on the user (hornet). Strategic use of ODs is certainly beneficial. -

Healing scoring should be based on health restored. It's dumb you get same score for healing a heavy tank as a light but takes 2x as long. Better off ignoring the fatties and just heal light or mediums ? -

It's not like they drive to the middle of the field to provide you with a nice target. It's much harder to kill the one that shoots you from behind, while hidden in a bush, from a distance. Plus, hornets get the benefit of DA + modules ... unlike their targets (during OD). Why? It lasts 20 seconds and during that time they can get just as many kills as a viking - with the benefit of seeing hidden enemies. Besides... I said "closer to"... not "same as". Could split the difference. But Diesel's suggestion probably better anyway, as in team battles all you need is a couple dictators to keep them pumped 24/7. -
If it was actually middle - might not be so bad - assuming scored is not something like 3-0 or so. But that's not how it works is it. I've actually been placed n a battle just as it ended. Wasted my time waiting to be placed in a battle i could not play. Just dumb.

Rail was just 1 example. You help make my case by pointing out others. There is no more "being adventurous". Step out and get one-shot even with multiple protections? My main point is that there is no real counter. Mammoth was a somewhat counter - though very brief. Does not even have that anymore. Most ODs have some counters. Hornet OD... not so much. -

Every tank will get destroyed during a battle - I think most players get that. It's the fact that hornet OD can get one-shot kills on medium tanks. There's no counter - no matter how much protection has been invested... it can't be countered. That's what players dislike. Rail LCR can do this across the map with no warning. The OD should charge at a rate much closer to vikings. -

I blame it on Challenges and OverDrives. Supplies are a good boost but manageable. ODs are just way too OP. Fighting a team that cooperates and you have no chance at all. Battle will be laughable. -

Less relevant in team battles where there's lots of dictators. Viking is slowest and yet you see lots of those. Plus there's the "nuclear" drop. Actually... chart on page in link places Hornet OD charge time as tide for 3rd-fastest so... (p.41) -
Let's cut to the chase... why do you need dome to give you healing when there are other sources of healing out there? How is 90% damage reduction not enough? Every OD needs counters. You pop dome and face enemies that have no OD ... you are like a god. The enemies without an OD probably can't scratch you much. You pop a dome and face an enemy that also has OD - on more even ground. What is the problem here?

1) You can't ghost into the garage to change equipment anymore. 2) Hornet OD ignores ALL defenses - even the dome. Not 100% sure but - a hornet-Rail with OD + DD + LCR might be able to do it on a lucky shot. Additionally - a Viking-Rail with DD + OD might shoot enough LCR shots to kill a Titan inside dome.

What do you mean? A hornet-(insert close-range-turret) with DD and OD could have killed a Titan sitting in the dome. You are only partially correct. Dome was nerfed also because of spawn-killing. Setting up the Dome near enemy base with a few friends allowed that group to destroy enemies in their own base for extended periods. I have a titan and use the dome all the tme. It's not weak. You just have to be more selective in it's use. Fewer Titan-shafts will be dropping it in a corner of the map just to save themselves (and protect their all-important K/D).
