  3. Wasp bomb is pretty ridiculous right now. Radius is too wide for what it does.
  4. I'm not understanding how ALL the vikings in the battles these days have OD more often than... my Hunter. 1 I can understand - it gets lucky and finds the drop-box. But ALL of them? Every time they attack our base they have OD ready. Makes no sense. Raising the ranged turret damage coefficient was on par with giving Freeze a 400% damage bonus for critical. Just stupid.

    so... 7 min battle very little possibility of coming back = stay? 12 min battle ... very real possibility of coming back after 1 cap = leave? I think you are in the minority. Most ppl don't leave a 12 min battle after 1 enemy cap. If it's 3 or 4 to 0 ... the tha'ts another story. And you are discounting completing many of the missions assigned. The ONLY mission that depends on winning is the Top 3 mission. The rest, you can complete whether your team wins or loses.

    Just played a Berlin Assault battle where I came in late to defenders side. "attackers" did not try to cap once while I was there. So I drove over to their side continuously and killed them. Managed to sneak into 3rd place as we won 100-0. One of the weirder battles I've played. Then next battle was Red alert and I was attacking. I capped 1st 2 attempts then noticed we were losing because 3/6 on my team were doing nothing but dying. Quit exit.
  7. I already acknowledged that "... as you don't have to bypass DA" I was speaking to attack. You would only "deal 1980 critical arcade shot damage to your target far away" if you used DD and target did not have DA activated.
  8. The hull augment wont save the defender from the damage. Don't see the point in those since you will be dead long before you are frozen.
  9. Freeze is my go-to turret at moment on my alt account - even on maps like Berlin. Just go long way around and ambush a bunch of defenders with Freeze-dictator or freeze-hunter. It really is silly to have 400% critical bonus. Makes no sense that Freeze got 400% while Fire has 100%. 4x ????
  10. You got me there - you will be able to do full healing on a far-away team-mate as you don't have to bypass DA. Your critical arcade damage of 1980 is assuming target does not have DA? My 95% was based on the fact that healing augment is not available in garage. Maybe 10% of the players have the healing augment. Maybe.
  11. So my old weekly missions are gone and I'm seeing the "NEW" weekly missions. It was so nice of TO to allow us to have two weekly missions that are of the Top-3-winning-team variety. So nice. ?
  12. So blunderbuss has more pellets per shot and higher critical chance, and any tank hit by ONE pellet still takes max damage if it's critical. And the wider spread which is supposed to be a minus is actually a plus for criticals. Oh my....
  13. Why do you keep brining up "distance" when hornet does nothing to enhance your "distance" damage or healing? Min damage range for Arcade is 42m. Weak damage/healing is 25%. How is hornet helping you heal anyone beyond 50m? And hornet certainly isn't enhancing your damage beyond 50m since neither the AP nor the Supercharge will be effective beyond that range. So I reiterate - for 95% of the players, hornet OD is useful for melee and short-range turrets only.

  15. Supercharge "will deal critical damage and apply any effects associated with that turret/augment's critical shot." So it applies the boosted damage.
  16. Freeze Crit damage bonus is 400%. FOUR HUNDRED PERCENT! But your armadillo should protect against that. Ah... but you are only cutting it down to 200%.
  17. I'm not arguing. I truly must have gotten lucky then with my targets. But At-Shin's defense of hornet does seem odd then... since the only Shaft that would really benefit from hornet would be RFM. I've been using Freeze-Dictator and gotta say... TO has outdone themselves. It so ridiculous it's funny.
  18. Team leading in JUG 6-5 with less than 1 min to go. Our JUG charges forward and is quickly killed - game ends in tie. JUST. SO. STUPID.
  19. Interesting. I seemed to be doing a lot of damage with my gauss sniping after hitting shift. Maybe I was hitting weak targets? Wonder why At-Shin thinks shaft-hornet is awesome combo... since hornet OD has a low 50m radius...
  20. It was OP. There was no point in even equipping a module for Rail since anytime it did max damage it ignored the module. But you know what's really stupid right now? Freeze with a 400% damage boost for critical. And the Supercharge from hornet/dictator that allows turrets like Gauss and Shaft to apply their critical damage boost to their big attack. Can't believe that was the intention.
  21. That's the MAX damage as far as I can tell - don't see a number higher.
  22. Wow. If Titan does not have DA on, won't be that hard to kill it in it's dome. Mammoth... LOL... can't even kill a medium hull - even if it managed to stay in contact for the full 7 seconds. Did you have a typo for Wasp bomb? 1,000 damage? It's HALF the health of a light hull. Worse than a mine.
  23. That's for TEAM balancing. Nothing will change until they tighten the rank-spreads.
  24. In a perfect world? Yes. But you'd never get co-operation to do this properly, so there will always be some upset players - especially if they are just about to complete a mission. Only plausible solution is TO does a better job at balancing MM. Don't hold your breath. Other solution - if you recognize early on your team doesn't stand a chance - just exit.
