So... every battle will be a TDM battle, regardless of the actual format. Sounds swell ... ?
-
They kill you when you finish re-spawning which is ... "after you re-spawn". In many maps the spawning points are just awful, and even if you start moving when you can, they can still nail you. I use Gauss and Shaft modules by default - still get killed by that suddenly revealed laser. Having to put on a DA the instant you spawn so you won't be one-shotted by a camping Shaft is problematical.
-
Admitting you have a problem is the first step toward recovery. ?
-
Most campers can't can't kill you with one shot right after you re-spawn. But Shaft can. So it's both.
-
THIS. I see them all the time - usually in a corner where no one drives, and when they activate dome they are the only beneficiaries.
-
Probably Blunderbuss augment - does max damage at full range with every pellet on critical hits. And since the horizontal scatter is +200 - it can do max damage to a LOT of targets.
-
Probably.

about a year ago... give or take. Better at mid range due to damage. but hitting moving targets at long range is much harder. Still haven't figured out how to use IB now. Takes too long to get the burning going, and when you do you self destruct just as easily as you burn a target. really only useful when enemies are gathered together. otherwise... meh.

Vulcan was definitely easier to use when it had the "laser" instead of projectiles.

With the "new and improved" weekly missions - I got TWO of those - same week. ?

Players capping flags before enemy team has loaded could (and should) be solved by TO. It's one of the reasons players exit a battle within the first 30 seconds. No player wants to start a battle down 1-0 from the get-go. There are work-arounds for this regardless of ping. TO just doesn't see it as a priority.

Wrong 2x here. 1) Blue players rarely made it up to Red base because Red already controlled middle - which leads to 2) 2) Can't believe you don't understand how important controlling the middle of the map in Noise is. Noise is nothing like almost any other map. There are no "side routes". Blue HAS to go through the middle to get to Red base. If Red is already controlling middle, it is much, much harder for Blue to get up to the Red flag. Before Magnum came along, easily 65% of the battles were won by Red. Maybe it's now 70% (or more) because of Magnum. Does it really matter if Magnum shifted the unbalanced posts a little more?
-
Even before Magnum came along Red team had a big advantage. Ricco and Thunder were able to exploit the floor of blue area to get hits/kills on spawning defenders. Much harder to do for blue - their missed shots just go harmlessly up into the sky. AND... Red team has a much easier time getting to middle level - they can take ramps or just jump down. Blue could not jump up. Controlling middle level gave you RK and a much better control of the map. If you have control of the map you are pretty much guaranteed the win.

Not sure I see the reason for the change. You want lots of mines? User Saboteur. Want mines to stay (until exploded)? Use Miner. Agree to disagree.
-
Losing all mines makes it pointless - that's the entire reason for the drone. It does not need a nerf because it's not OP. Seeing a player able to lay 30 mines via miner drone is the exception, not the rule. Saboteur is much better at getting mass mines on the field. After laying a bunch they hide. then repeat. If someone has an issue with too many mines, 90% of the time a Saboteur drone is the culprit. You can see lay a mine-field the moment they re-spawn.
-
Well there's your first mistake...
-
Then what's the point of the drone? I can see maybe the mine you are just laying getting wasted. But all of them? ? And really... how many players are able to lay, and have 30 active mines going? At the very least a bunch of them will be run over and discharged long before 30 mines are built up. Unless the noob is doing it in a corner where no one runs over them and removes them from the battle...

Except there are not a lot of players. So MM is hot garbage. Ranks-spreads are stupid wide and MM keeps putting me in battles that are half over and out of reach. Not a chance I stay in those battles.
-
Why bother reading it? ?
-
You must be talking about striker-stun LOL. Got it for free in the Ultracontainers and tried it out. IT. IS. RIDICULOUS.
-
NO! ?
-
I'll stay if my team is trying. But if we're 2 tanks short, and 2 or more of the existing tanks are chatting or doing nothing, I'll bail.
-
Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss. PT.
-
That might be it.... but... I always thought it was by rank... then... if you did poorly it would place you on a team with players that had excelled. And vis-versa. Which might explain that if I came 1st or 2nd, my next team seemed kinda noob - even though the ranks were similar to previous batttle. But I'm not really sure. Seems clear as mud.
-
Well that figures - we have half the player-base in MM now? When does that other thing end?
