What? How is a battle against noobs an endorsement of any turret?
-
This is 100% correct. Except for the part about literally. And the part about only. Other than that... Isida is fine with Viking - speed allows it to close distance with enemy or team-mates, and Freeze is similar to firebird.
-
Before the update, with MFS alt equipped I could damage targets a lot farther away at 50% farther.
-
You missed the point - you are not expected to manhandle 8 enemies - or even 6. If you are playing CTF, kill 1 or 2 as needed and steal their flag. If you have their flag they can't cap yours. And instead of spawn-killing a bunch of tanks doing nothing in their own base, kill their flag carrier and return your own flag. You need to play the battle-mode you have entered - way too many players playing TDM when in fact, they are in CTF. This is a result of the silly Stars event - players don't care about the battle - all they care about is getting stars.

That (helping Shaft on smaller maps) is fine - but - giving Shaft (secondary attack) same re-load as Smoky is ridiculous. That was Smoky's major advantage - which is now watered down by another turret having same reload. What next... Thunder gets buff in reload so it too can compete on smaller maps?
-
How is enemy capping flags if you are already in their base "manhandling" them? No wonder you get your stars while playing on the losing team - you are not playing the same game the rest of your team is... Try killing the tanks that matter (the one carrying your flag) instead of wracking up your score spawn-killing... ;)

When your team of random players goes up against a co-ordinated team of friends, it's entirely possible to finish first on the losing team and not qualify for any stars I suspect you have had a sheltered experience with TO, or you inflate your accomplishments. Play more random battles without your friends - do this regularly for a few weeks. You will see what I mean.

At that point, it doesn't really matter. Just getting to score of ~ 90 can be a struggle - not at all worried about battle result in those cases. It's aim for 90, or just leave - which is what many seem to be doing. The threshold needs to change or these events will continue to be a farce.

Been a lot of battles that finished 8 vs 3. At least those mults are drawing some of the fire away from me. ;) Gives me slightly better chance of not being spawn-killed. Slightly better...

Even with critical added in at 1-in-5 smoky average damage is 588. Shaft arcade is 705. Seems a bit odd that secondary attack for Shaft has advantage of 117. Smoky's turret rotation speed really only comes into effect up closer, where shaft has the damage advantage. The biggest goof here by Devs is not the damage - it's the reload. No way Shaft should have same re-load as smoky. That was Smoky's bread-and-butter.

Non-buyers already have access to lots of supplies. Daily + weekly mission rewards add up quickly. On the other hand, buyers are more likely to buy the "Star Pass" - enabling them to get more containers and have a better chance at the big prizes.
-
Yes - for Isida, Firebird and Freeze, Viking is probably more effective than Hunter.
-
They need to lower the threshold for stars - we have 8 minutes (or less) now - not 10. Seen many battles end where almost entire team got 0 stars, even though they were there for most of battle. But real issue is - they need to bring back the early battle-end timer. If players know a bad battle will end sooner rather than later they might stick around.
-
Ya'll sitting out until event is over? -_- I mean... you can accidentally get 1 or 2 stars just by completing misisons.
-
Unfortunately this seems to be the direction TO is going... - shorter battles - random maps - updates to fire, freeze, shaft, ricco, Magnum, etc - Overdrives It's a less refined game IMO.
-
In real life? Yes - unless you are using a bow, spear or knife. In the game... hiding/camping (avoiding danger) is certainly no more nobel than a tank moving in for the kill. I think "nobel" is the wrong term. "Patient" or "Disciplined" would be more applicable IMO.
-
Hiding and killing from a distance is... Nobel? <_< Drugs cut both ways for Shaft. The "hunter" usually has the advantage. If Defenders run around equipping DA before they see the enemy, they risk it running out at critical time. But shaft can wait until they see targets, then hit DD, then fire and go for the one-shot kill. Medium or Light hull without 50% module (basically anyone below Gismo) equipped has no chance to hit DA - they are dead. Actually - even if target has DA equipped, they only survive if they also have a module.

Yup - there are more groups/clans playing together to get lions share of the 2x battle fund. Many of the battles are just garbage - finished a CTF battle where 5 players on my team received 0 stars. ZERO. I don't see any incentive to finish a battle when it is 3-0 or 4-0. Just hit exit...
-
What do you mean? On same target? Maybe it pressed "2"? Oddly enough WIKI shows 2 ranges... Min Dmg & Max Dmg... and yet - there is only one damage value listed... Makes no sense.
-
Here's how crappy this Star system is... Just played a battle where other team (Group/Clan) dominated and won 7-1 5 players (including me) got score of 80 or less and received zero stars. So... once we see team dominating - why should we bother continuing to finish the battle? There is NO incentive.
-
Not anymore. When they nerfed the min damage range Ricco became useless at long range - even with MFS equipped. Can no longer damage targets on other side of Serpuhov.
-
My point was I don't want to be JUG. It's main weapon is Rail - I'm terrible with Rail. As JUG I might get one or two kills. I get many, many kills in that mode by NOT killing JUG.

I've been doing better with Smoky - and both are upgraded about the same. depends on what map MM throws you in...

Being upset with someone because of reputation? Not cool. But I can sympathize with players in (random) team battles where some team members refuse to use supplies. This handi-caps the team - and in todays TO, almost ensures that team will lose. If you won't use supplies, better to stick to DM (including JUG) or Pro-battles. The Gold reference - have no issues with team-mates going for gold - that's what... 10 seconds? My issue is with team-mates who refuse to activate OverDrive when they could benefit the team. These players are only going to use it when gold drops - depriving the team of a resource. Meanwhile the other team is using it consistently and wiping my team off the board. All for a 5%-10% chance to catch a gold worth.. 1000 crystals. To me that's selfish.
