Some more Shaft games in Juggernaut. The ones that have the word "Alone" in the name of the screenshot are the ones where I got the kills solely with Shaft and not with the Juggernaut. This one was just me trying to kill the Juggernaut because he was dominating. One shotting any unprotected hull with the Terminator's Railgun:

Do you mean M2? M1 10/10 is M2, not M3. Unless you are talking about equipping the Heavy Capacitors alteration as well? I've invested in some Shaft protection. It's at 17% right now. I mind, only when I'm not using Heavy Capacitors. I remember entering a MM battle where the rank bracket was 2nd Lieutenant - Colonel and I saw 4 players on the enemy team with at least 28% Shaft protection. One of them had 43%. I left immediately. That's the only hypocritical thing about me that I can admit. I know that some turrets are balanced because there are barely any protections against it. If I see more than 3 players with above 25% Shaft protection in the lower ranks, I'm leaving. With the number of supplies being handed out every day, protection like that really hampers my efficiency in the team.

This hasn't happened to me. If you don't want to accidentally use a gold box, I suggest disabling any key to drop it. This is how mine looks.

Please note that Isida has a narrower cone angle meaning it is easy for its beam to lose focus on the enemy unless they're using the Broadband Emitters alteration. It's easy for a Freeze to stick up to an Isida's side which would make their beam less focused and lose out on crucial damage. If Isida misses 1 tick, then the Freeze would win. It's not that big of a difference. Also, why should a turret that can damage multiple enemies at once have more damage, energy and a shorter reload than the one that can't? The only thing Isida trumps Firebird and Freeze on is that it has no weak damage; its damage is constant. M4 Duplet Hammer can destroy any unprotected M4 hull in 0.27 seconds. While it has similar DPM to Stock Hammer, it trumps Hammer with the fact that it has the element of surprise. You CAN'T fight back against Duplet if you didn't see one behind you. You can fight back against a stock Hammer by enabling double armour but with Duplet, you're dead before you can even react with in-game movement. How the hell can they call a turret equipped with an alteration that can kill any unprotected hull in 0.27 seconds balanced? Railgun takes at least 1.1 seconds. Shaft takes approximately 3 seconds to charge up. Magnum can do it in but you have to be lucky to get that damage. Hammer's damage is fixed. They should have just nerfed the damage because having those two shots back-to-back is an advantage which trumps almost anything Stock Hammer can do.

I can't seem to get in the top 3 with Cyclone in the lower ranks. It simply gives the enemy too much time to get to cover. I would settle for Stock Striker in DM battles as the 4 missile salvo is all it takes to destroy medium hulls and damage heavy hulls. Medium hulls are the most prevalent anyway. Did you use the salvo often or did most if not all of your kills come from single rockets?

There was one thing I overlooked for this gender war. I had thought that more people would buy the paint and the average would go down but I forgot that they made the paints unavailable to purchase before the war started. This would mean that since it's a fixed number of participants in each faction, the average number of stars can only go up. I always found it quite weird that they would allow a lot of people to go walking around with an animated paint. Good to know they thought this through just a little bit to make it hard. Look like I'll have to throw away my benchmark of 300-400 stars and shoot for 700.

Bought Heavy Capacitors yesterday. I was expecting to be disappointed just like I was with my last 4 alteration purchases but that wasn't the case this time. It feels so good to know that I could finally one-shot Vikings. Sometimes, the charge up time doesn't seem to affect me, other times, it feels like it's taking FOREVERRRRRR. The damage, at least to my M2 Shaft, is definitely worth it. Had a Juggernaut battle where I entered close to halfway but I was able to get 16 kills and no deaths. Only one player tried to kill me from behind but he got killed by the mines I left behind me. :P

Yup, it seems like that's the case. If so, they should really fix this because many times, I would have to exit sniping mode immediately as I go into it because I could predict that my teammate would push me hard or my enemy would be out-of-sight for a while. It's not good knowing that your next shot WILL deal arcade damage no matter the charge. This would have been extremely tolerable if your energy wasn't depleted no matter the charge of your sniping mode shot. Heh, I think I'll stick to tapping spacebar.

Juggernaut battles in a nutshell:
-
I'll test this out. Also, you seem to be an expert in the inner mechanics of Shaft. Tell me, how do you get the maximum arcade damage? I know that the maximum arcade damage is the same amount as the minimum sniper damage. Is it possible to obtain the maximum arcade damage without having all of your energy deducted?

Thank you. This is what I say every time someone gets mad at me for killing them when they aren't the Juggernaut. Sometimes, it's even the players I'm not even shooting calling me out. I'm just sick of every player having that mentality in that mode. This problem didn't need to occur at all yet here it is, for no particular reason. I'd understand if you'd get upset after a player kills you right before you landed the finishing blow on the Juggernaut but you can't call out the player for playing the objective. For too many players, the objective of the mode is to become the Juggernaut. Becoming the Juggernaut is not the objective. I know what the objective is and I play the objective. So yeah, DM is basically the only mode where everyone plays the objective. We need the devs to point out in the V-Log in some way, that becoming the Juggernaut is not the objective.
-
You might as well add it to the Quick Battle option because everyone but me seems to silently agree to the Juggernaut mode being "Juggernaut vs Players". I hate it when players get mad at me killing anyone but the Juggernaut in that mode!

First battle with Incendiary Smoky (Unlucky). I was first at the beginning of the battle with 8 kills but then everyone just seemed unkillable after that. I stayed on 11 kills for the last 2 and a half minutes of the battle. I'll probably buy M3 Smoky in the future. My second Incendiary Smoky battle (Lucky). Seems to do 4 ticks instead of 5. I think I know why.

It happens no matter what situation you're in, no matter what type of Shaft you use. I never had this bug during the first few days of using Shaft. It was only after those few days that it started happening. And recently, I've been getting them at least once in every battle. There was a battle where 4 of my shots were like that in a row. It's really frustrating, especially when it's a win or lose situation.

Back when Vulcan first came out, I was wondering why that wasn't one of Vulcan's mechanics. It would have made sense for the bullets to heat up when the Vulcan was overheating. I guess that would have been bad for balance.

Miner isn't OP. It takes too long to actually get your worth out of it. You can't use a fully upgraded miner in a MM battle. What would be the point of that?
-
That would make it inconsistent with all of the other drones.
-
It wasn't a glitch. That was a part of the anti-power levelling system. You no longer receive score or EXP from a teammate's self-damage, only from the damage done by enemies. By the way, this was not brought into the in this update. It was implemented before this update. I think you confused what they actually did with Isida in this update with another one.

"But let me give you some extra information and please do not bother me with childish gibberish of yours". It's clear in this sentence and your last words in your post that it's futile to discuss anything with you or to allow you to see things differently rather than superficially and irrationally. You clearly don't understand how the upgrade system works. When you saw that "fault" in it, you couldn't even tell that it was for the greater good.
-
Sigh, if only they didn't take away each tier's individual shot colours...

Saw a player do that exact same thing last week. I voted him but nothing happened. The guy didn't have an advantage over anyone else so it wasn't bad. The guy should still be banned for hacks though. He made the choice to enable them.
