It happens no matter what situation you're in, no matter what type of Shaft you use. I never had this bug during the first few days of using Shaft. It was only after those few days that it started happening. And recently, I've been getting them at least once in every battle. There was a battle where 4 of my shots were like that in a row. It's really frustrating, especially when it's a win or lose situation.

Back when Vulcan first came out, I was wondering why that wasn't one of Vulcan's mechanics. It would have made sense for the bullets to heat up when the Vulcan was overheating. I guess that would have been bad for balance.

Miner isn't OP. It takes too long to actually get your worth out of it. You can't use a fully upgraded miner in a MM battle. What would be the point of that?

It wasn't a glitch. That was a part of the anti-power levelling system. You no longer receive score or EXP from a teammate's self-damage, only from the damage done by enemies. By the way, this was not brought into the in this update. It was implemented before this update. I think you confused what they actually did with Isida in this update with another one.

You clearly don't understand how the upgrade system works. When you saw that "fault" in it, you couldn't even tell that it was for the greater good.

Saw a player do that exact same thing last week. I voted him but nothing happened. The guy didn't have an advantage over anyone else so it wasn't bad. The guy should still be banned for hacks though. He made the choice to enable them.

They reduced the % of maximum temperature each pellet ignites the target for. Before the nerf, each pellet would ignite the target for 3.3% of maximum temperature. 3.3% * 9 (which is the amount of pellets Hammer shoots) = 29.7%. This means that the enemy would suffer 2 ticks of fire damage as it has not reached 30% of maximum temperature. If the target were to be heated to 30% of maximum temperature instantly, then they would suffer 3 ticks of fire damage. The nerf brought the % of maximum temperature for each pellet down to 2.2%. This would mean that hitting all of your pellets on the target would ignite them for 19.8% of maximum temperature. This would cause them to suffer 1 tick of fire damage as the temperature of the target isn't at 20%. As for the 300 and 150 damage thing, that is how afterburn works. If the target does not have double armour activated and is being burnt by afterburn, the damage would be 300/sec. If the target is being burnt by afterburn but has double armour activated, then it would be 150/sec. The afterburn in the game is locked at 300/sec. If you use Double damage and shoot someone with Firebird, it would only deal 300 damage of afterburn per second, not 600. Afterburn damage does not double when used with double damage. Afterburn does, however, decrease by half when using double armour, as seen with the Titan Smoky getting 150 damage but the Viking Shaft getting 300. You may not like that the temperature at which it ignites the target if all pellets hit the target is at, but if you consecutively hit the target with the rest of your clip, the afterburn damage adds up. So by the end of your clip, the target would have suffered 4-5 ticks of afterburn damage. I hope that answered your questions. :)

Wanted to get around asking this since last year. I've seen stuff like that in other games get updated when a new year comes. Why is it still 2017 and not 2019? Can anyone explain what exactly that which is encircled refers to?

He's talking about the Saboteur Drone. On some upgrade steps, they don't increase the number of mines planted around the original mine and the mine activation time after planting the original mine. He's at 5/20 upgrades. I made a post above yours helping him to explain the situation and what to do in the future.

What's even worse is that sometimes, in DM battles that consist of Marshals/Field Marshals being the top rank with the majority of players being Brigadier - General, players would leave and it would then bring Legends into them. The Legends then proceed to dominate with their M4 or almost M4 equipment. There were times where the Legends didn't do too good which, then, was because almost everyone in the battle had M3 equipment regardless of rank which would result in the Legends doing average instead of dominating.

It just seemed more likely to me. Magnum looked like it wouldn't have had much to really put on it which would have made the artist spend less tie on it.

Think of it like this; if three of the upgrades you bought don't increase the number of mines you place down, they buying those 3 upgrades is like buying the parts for the Saboteur Drone necessary for it to now deploy an extra mine. And I'm assuming that you bought that drone because you saw its potential. You saw that it was powerful and possibly a game changer. You should have looked at the wiki to see the upgrade costs and what each upgrade step adds to the drone. This was a fault on your part. I don't like to hold people to standards often but you're a Marshal (and well into it), you should know that the Wiki exists seeing that you know the forum exists. After this experience of yours, if you have any doubts on the upgrades of future equipment, I suggest going to Tanki's Wiki page. That happens only for the Saboteur Drone.

Looks like that to me. The number of times I've seen a random Twins + Titan with the Stable Plasma alteration enter a DM battle halfway and win is uncountable at this point.
