Titan has a higher speed. The only two things Mammoth has over Titan is a heavier weight and a slightly faster acceleration.

I've decided to buy M1 Shaft on my lower account because I got a personal discount on it. I might as well relive the fun days I used to have on one of my founding accounts. I've been upgrading it since. It's at 8/10 going to 9. I haven't used it yet and I'm not using it until it's at 8/10. In the meantime, I'll be using Striker. I also got a Personal discount one Shaft M3 on this account that joined with the 25% sale yesterday but I didn't buy it. I'd have to upgrade it an awful lot just to one shot Legends. Edit: Been grinding to get crystals to speed up the processes. It's at 8 now. I'll play with it when it's at 9.

Got an "Earn 10,000 score" mission for my floater weekly mission. Still avoiding that top 3 mission. I doubt I'll be able to do that mission on this account but on my lower account, I can practically finish that in two days.

I'll be playing for 'men' on my lower account and I'll be playing for 'women' on this account.

I had two battles yesterday where my lower account (your rank) had been put into a battle where the highest player besides me on any of the two teams was WO5. There were mixtures of low WOs and some sergeants on each team. I found it quite unfair that MM put me in those battles as I got more than 25 kills in both battles. I had lost one of them though. I had a frustrating experience a few years ago on one of my low-rank accounts where two players on my team in a Gravity TDM battle were constantly driving off the edge and deducting our points. I remember using Hammer and Thunder with Hornet using constant supplies (I didn't have much back then) just to make my team win. I ended up getting more than 700 score from kills and assists but sadly, we lost 100-97. We were 99-99 and then both of the mults drove off the edge at the same time and the score was reduced to 97 while I was respawning. One of the Thunders on the enemy team got the last kill and we lost. I was so furious when that happened and I never forgot it. Yeah right. <_<

You're welcome. My friend reminds me that I'm a pedant from time to time. What you're saying about "it fires slowly" would really apply in no situations but from what I'm getting from that is that it would only apply to mid-range combat. When you're at almost point-blank, it feels just like Unaltered Twins because it fires the same amount of projectiles a second while making it look like less. I know that it fires just like the Stable Plasma and Unaltered Twins so it does not bother me. I know that the only downside is the projectile speed decrease and that is the only thing I'll worry about (apart from self-damage). Moving on, when I play in the Test Server, I like using every turret but the turret I usually avoid is Twins. Twins is ultimately just not for me. Part of the reason is that it's a mixture of being overpowered and boring to play which, in my opinion, is not a good combination for me. Anyway, I decided to break away from that because I had not used Twins on the Test Server in quite some time. I already had experience with the Plasma-core Accelerators and Stable Plasma alteration but I barely had experience with the Heavy Plasmagun alteration. I decided to try it out with the Booster drone. I have to say, Nicola, that "Splash n Dash" tactic is quite fun to use. It hadn't pooled as many projectiles in the air as I thought it would have but it was still enough and I loved seeing the Hornets and Wasps spaz out trying to keep under control. Tried it in Juggernaut. I do about 1000+ damage with each projectile with the Booster Drone (17/20). It didn't get me to become Juggernaut as much as I would have liked it to, but it was great surprising medium hulls with the onslaught of projectiles. I won't continue to play with it as other turrets and alterations, in my opinion, are much more fun to play with but I'll keep this memory for future use. My preferred alteration for Twins is still Plasma-core Accelerators.

The price of the alteration is 80k crystals. With the 25% discount, it would be 60k crystals. The firing rate is not decreased, just the projectile speed. The firing rate stays the same.

valid Protection modules decrease 10-15% the impact force of the weapons they are protecting
TheCongoSpider replied to Strikechard123 in Ideas and Suggestions
What I've noticed is that with Freeze and Firebird, protection modules against them only affect the speed of the cooling or heating rate. It takes longer to fully freeze a player with 50% Freeze protection compared to a player with 15% Freeze protection. The same thing for Firebird but it's just igniting and not cooling. If I remember correctly, maybe 1-2 years ago and before that, protection against Firebird would actually reduce the number of seconds of afterburn the player would receive. Against an M4 Firebird, a player would have received 10 afterburn ticks instead of 20. The same thing for Freeze. I remember back then, and I had always thought this until earlier this year, that Freeze protection modules cut the minimum temperature for a tank by half. That means that they would still put up a fight even being partially frozen. Implementing this back into the game may not be good for balance though. I agree that protection modules should protect against impact force to some extent. -
13-2 125x Speed Boost (Weekly) 125x Double Armor (Weekly) 150x Batteries (Weekly) 15-2 3,500x Crystals (Challenge) 150x Batteries (Weekly) 3 Days of Premium (Weekly) 125x Double Damage (Challenge) Lots of containers opened these past two days. I finally got a rare item in so long. I was beginning to lose hope.

Slightly slower. M4 Smoky reloads in 1.5 seconds. M4 Sledgehammer Thunder reloads in 1.61 seconds. I agree it's much better than Standard Thunder. The thing that's irking me is that the devs haven't told us "what exactly is maximum damage". It says that the maximum damage range is decreased by 95%. We know that the maximum damage range is the range at which you have to be in in order to have a chance at obtaining the maximum damage possible for your turret. Minimum damage range is the range at which you have to be in in order to have a chance at obtaining at least the minimum direct damage possible within the given direct damage range. I'm not sure if you'd be confused by that because using "maximum damage range" and "damage range" like that is confusing. Does the damage below the maximum damage depend on the range at which you're in between maximum and minimum damage range? On the test Server, I had seemed to be hitting in the 830s and 840s constantly when I and the enemy stayed the same range. If the question that I asked above had been true, then Sledgehammer is even more OP than we thought. Keep in mind that this is assuming the situation in the question above is true. There is a lot of stuff that the devs refuse or don't bother to give us and it only confuses the players who try to help other unaware players understand. Are they purposefully keeping us in the dark as much as possible?

Which is not the range a short-ranged turret should be fighting you in.

Did some testing with Striker earlier. It may not have much of an impact on your gameplay but if you're locking onto a tank and the reticle completes, the rockets go towards where on the tank you laser was last when the reticle finished filling. I always thought that the missiles would target the middle of the tank as much as possible. So just in case you're confused: If you have your laser on the left side of the tank for 90% of the reticle encircling but you move your laser to the right side of the tank just before the reticle finishes, the missiles will go to the right side of the tank. The missiles target the last place the laser touched on the tank.

Slight? It's an entire 100% increase.

. I got the "Activate Overdrive x50" mission today. I escaped the wretched mission above once again. I wouldn't mind getting it on my lower account because I usually get in the top 5 spots in DM if my rank is one of the higher ones in the battle.

From experience, it seems like just a little before full charge. However, I'm not sure if this is intended on the Test Server but I would notice that the Shafts' laser would instantly show when going into sniper mode. Sometimes, it made me think that they were using the Light Capacitors alteration but they were one-shotting my Hunter so they couldn't be using it. No, they weren't using the Booster drone and even if they were, all of the timers happened where it was well past 5 seconds of them activating double damage. I just find that a bit weird and inconsistent with the real servers.
-
You can add me to the list. August 3rd.
-
I know that it has been going on for a while. I was just saying that I've been seeing it more frequently recently when others and myself included activate the Overdrives. Maybe we're just lucky to be getting it frequently or maybe they changed it to be more frequent.
-
It is just a visual effect. I've been noticing it happening more frequently though. I would see only one Wasp time bomb explosion every 6 or so battles games but now I've been seeing it every 2-3 battles.

The U.S and U.K use periods to separate decimal places from whole digits but many other countries use commas instead. Telling them they should use commas is like telling a Spanish speaking native to Spanish country you're visiting to speak fluent English in their own country because you are accustomed to hearing English.

Well...yeah. Shop paints cost money, therefore, it was more valuable than the garage paints that needed to be bought with crystals. I mean, all the garage paints are in the rare category in containers.

Took this maybe a few weeks ago. That's the highest Gear Score I've seen on a WO5. I also encountered this yesterday. The Siberian Kit was a mistake since it came out.
-
One thing I've also noticed is that I made more than 10 accounts in the Test Server and none of them got the "Top 3 on the winning team x15" weekly mission. My luck has extended to the Test Server as well.
