I find the 5,000 crystals mission to be very easy and I'm more relaxed doing that than a score 10,000 points or a 500 kills mission.
-
They really want Dictator's usage to go up.

Juggernaut didn't need an increase in HP all that time before Overdrives. Players used to dominate the battles and go unkilled as the Juggernaut. Some battles had multiple Juggernauts. Some battles had 2 or even 1 Juggernaut. Giving it more armour would have just solidified their immortality.

Same. The M3 design looks so smooth. It's a heavy hull you you shouldn't expect it to move too fast. Perhaps this hull would have the higher speed than Titan.
-
Yes. Gauss Cannon is the turret they're working on. Ares is the hull they're working on. At 30:16, they were talking about the Gauss Cannon, the turret they're working on.
-
That is describing Ares, not a turret.
-
Viking4s mentioned above of a Gauss Cannon turret. That's probably it.
-
Even if they didn't say the name of the hull in the Livestream, they said in V-Log 208 that they were thinking of naming the hull Ares. They didn't mention a turret in that V-Log.

Key (as to not get confused). Maximum damage range and minimum damage range - refers to the range, in metres, at which it is possible to deal the maximum and minimum damage within your Thunder's range of damane (360-510, 740-1,020 etc) "Maximum damage range' and 'minimum damage range" - refers to the damage interval of where those damage numbers or in between will occur depending on the maximum and minimum damage ranges above. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It seems like I'll have to go to the Russian Wiki more often for my information. I had an idea as to how the mechanics of Sledgehammer Thunder worked. I went on the Russian Wiki for Thunder and the information it gave me confirmed my idea. The damage within the ranges is linear to the distance you hit them from. e.g If at point blank range, you do 100 damage and for every meter you drive backwards, your damage decreases by 1, then at 50 meters, it would do 50 damage and at 80 meters, it would do 30 damage. Both Sledgehammer Thunder and Stock Thunder have this. Here is the problem though - What exactly are the "minimum and maximum damage" value ranges. And I don't mean for M4 Thunder, it being 740 - 1,020 damage. I mean where is the cut-off point for leaving and entering the "maximum damage range". I assume that the "minimum damage range" is the first 50% of the damage range. So that would mean that, for M4 Thunder, the "minimum damage range" would be 740-880 and the "maximum damage range" would be 881-1,020. If this were to be true, then for Stock Thunder, you can do 881-1,020 damage within the range of 0 metres and 100 metres; and you can 740-880 damage within the range of 100 metres and 150 metres. Here is another problem - I states on the Russian Wiki and on the English Wiki (not on the same respective pages) that it decreases linearly depending on the distance. This seems to be wrong, at least, with Stock Thunder. I tried this out with my in-game friend in a battle. I had M0 1/20 Thunder but that shouldn't make the calculations much harder (if there were any). I felt as if Thunder had damage distribution just like Smoky. I somewhat confirmed this when I shot my friend at point blank range three times. My damage range for that Thunder was 367-520. The damage I did those times were: 448, 518 and 457. As you can see, there was a spike in the second shot's damage. Why was that? This seems to make me believe that there really is damage distribution for Thunder. If it were to be true, then for Stock Thunder, the linear damage to range would be false. That is Stock Thunder; Let us look at Sledgehammer Thunder. Sledgehammer Thunder decreases the maximum damage range by 95% meaning for M4 Thunder, the maximum damage range is 5 metres. This puts the minimum damage range (assumably) at between 5 - 150 metres. What I noticed in the Test Server is that I hit consistent numbers that seem to be linear between these ranges. One disparity I noticed was that a player, who seemed to be 15m away from me (server latency factored in here) suffered 943 damage from my shot. This would imply that the "minimum damage range" may not be the first 50% of the damage range of the Thunder OR this may imply that the minimum damage range may not be between that range, possibly somewhere behind that OR MAYBE this may imply that the unknown-to-players mechanics of the maximum damage range was altered slightly to not fit what the alteration says. The former seems more likely and the latter seems like something they would do. In terms of linearity, It's more linear with Sledgehammer Rounds. If my range fluctuates a little bit, I don't get a significant increase or jump in damage. It seems to go down with range almost perfectly. So Stock Thunder seems to have an RNG factor while Sledgehammer Thunder seems to be more accurate as to how it says Thunder should perform. In practicality, this makes Sledgehammer Thunder a better pick. We don't know what the "maximum and minimum damage" values are and they don't seem to want to tell us either. How hard is it to tell us the mechanics of a game you created? Every day, I feel somewhat betrayed by Tanki when they don't tell us information like this, or say why they make all of their changes instead of cherry-picking which change to explain. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If I had the motivation to continue, this would have been 2x as long as it is here. I lost motivation and decided to end it early and abrupt while not touching on certain interactions and questions. I don't even think many would be attracted to read this though. If this wasn't attractive, then I doubt the longer one would be at all. Some things may not make too much sense as I may have listed the points in the wrong order. I hope you guys take this into consideration if your curiosity was peaked while reading this. I believe if we were to forward these questions to the devs, they would ignore us or say that that is classified or they don't have the time to answer those questions.

They're on separate days but I would need to be studying during the days I'm not there. My last exam is on June 7th.
-
My patience is thin right now. I can't wait that long. Plus I got exams starting at the end of April so I may not be on often or may entirely miss the sales (depending on how severe distractions may be).

That's only a 6 rank bracket. While that may not seem like much compared to a 10 or 11 rank bracket, they have access to all M3 equipment while you still don't have access to M2 Smoky or Titan.

Honestly, @Maf + @Viking4s

Played a Juggernaut battle so many Vikings were there and activating their Overdrive and killing the Juggernaut. I tried to make them fly away with the Juggernaut's Overdrive but they were all anchored to the ground - barely moving a few meters, meanwhile, I'm not even close to the Juggernaut and my hull is flipping all over the place. If Juggernaut doesn't get an increase armour as well, then Viking's Overdrive will continue to shut it up but at least it would be able to survive close-range encounters with the increases shockwave force. On the bright side, at least no buyer who has an M4 Juggernaut while everyone else has M2/3 equipment can dominate anymore.

I should have bought M2 Hornet during both of those 30% sales that passed recently. It's cheap and the Overdrive is really nice and also charges fast. I would only use it in certain situations (where I know that enemies wouldn't sneak up on me or care to sneak up on me) and I would finally be able to help my team with my Overdrive. I don't like that I can get 5-6 kills without having a need to use my Overdrive. That's almost 80-90% of an extra Overdrive could have had but I don't get to use the first one because no one would be around to. That was a problem I had when they were releasing the Overdrives - My Hunter wouldn't be able to use its Overdrive to the fullest (I don't like to go on reckless offensive raids in the enemy base with Shaft, I prefer sniping). I waited two weeks for good kits that I would like to come in the garage but was disappointed two weeks straight. I'll buy M2 Hornet soon so I can have another hull M2 hull to use besides Hunter. If there are too many heavy hulls, I use Heavy Capacitors. Because I knew how much HP M2 Mammoth had from trying to upgrade it to M1 10/10 on my lower account, I had realised that with heavy capacitors, my Shaft is able to kill an M2 Mammoth and a Stock M2 Titan. Definitely good for taking down slightly wounded heavy hulls that are a nuisance to my team. On an unrelated note, zapping multiple enemies when they're drugged up while taking no damage at all before they get stunned in MM is sooooo satisfying. I even became addicted to doing stuff like this in Silence parkours.

That all depends on your playing style and budget. What playstyle do you like? Offensive? Supportive? Defensive? I would assume that with your rank, you would be able to save a lot of crystals because by the time you reach to the rank to purchase M2 Kits, events would pass where you could have profited from them. If you like Offensive, then you can buy the: Pitbull Kit Simoon Kit Juggler Kit Boar Kit If you like Supportive, then you can buy the: Stinger Kit Fireworks Kit Chiropractor Kit Anaconda Kit (make sure you know how to use Vulcan if this would be your choice) If you like Defensive, then you can buy the: Mountain Kit Fortress Kit Cyclops Kit As I go down the list, the rank requirement to buy them in the garage increases so it would be very good if you liked Offensive or Supportive.

I think they changed that to stop the 'Ghosting' technique players used to do that would give them the ability to capture flags easily. It's a dirty tactic in my opinion but it was fun to pull off and watch it succeed.
-
Hot damn! They really want Dictator's usage to go up.
-
I made the mistake of buying the Hammer Of Thor Kit and not putting those crystals into the combo that I like using at the moment. I deeply regret it. You have M1 Viking already which is what both kits available at your rank contain. You have a choice between using Ricochet and Twins. If you do not like short-ranged combat, then I would suggest saving for an M2 Kit as you already have a decent M1 kit to use until you accumulate the crystals necessary to purchase a kit of your liking.

Tried it with Thunder and it seems the interval where I couldn't shoot equalled the reload time of my Thunder so I'd say that is intentional. I'm not sure about Railgun though. All the allies and enemies I've seen use it, their last shot has the shot delay of the Railgun they're using and it does normal damage. I guess Rail is somewhat better to use with it that Thunder in that case as it instantly reloads and not Thunder. Can you rephrase that first part? I'm having trouble understanding what it means?

Did this on a phone so I don't have the colour options. 125x Mines 3,500x Crystals 50x Batteries 10x Goldboxes Africa Paint -
Sometimes, in the heat of battle, that is unavoidable.

Oh, I see the wording you're talking about. It does sound like that to me as well but total damage would be reasonable. At least that mission incentivises using mines but I'm not sure if that's a good thing.
