  1. Holy cow, @stat.padder. I keep thinking how do you managed to get the 32.4k XP per hour from @fire_shoter. Then I realized you just do XP gained from Vulcan / total play time of Vulcan And you are trying to say fire_shoter is more active because of this? For god sake, who did Maths like this? There are so many factors that can greatly affect the result you have decided to ignore ompletely. Now I struggle to understand how do you get 20k XP per hour from me, since the same formula doesn't give me the same result.
  2. How do you even calculate XP per hour, since the profile doesn't give such info? You have to consider the XP gain has changed multiple time during the course of the game multiple limited time events with double XP players who may or may not get premium from container from time to time Much more... And you decided to ignore all these factors? I mean come on, who do Math like this? Then your memory failed you, as you have failed to do Maths correctly, twice already in fact. I just got my premium last week from container out of luck. And I'm not stupid enough to buy premium. Look kid, just make sure you get your "evidence" right before trying to roast people. And most importantly, don't recall your memory and state it as fact. As it has shown twice already, it is not reliable. Oh, and one more thing, don't fall asleep in Math class. It helps.
  3. I start to think the Devs don't even aware how impactful 50% damage reduction against 1 damage type is. If they were placed in other games, even in MMORPGs which are full of similar items, they would be either Ultra premium items sold in ridiculous price Legendary items which only can be obtained by completing certain challenging task be somewhere around 10% damage reduction instead and accessible to everyone.
  4. Also one thing @wolverine848, you know there are many flaws in this game, countless, in fact. And you know the Devs are unlikely to change the way players are hoping for. If you have given up of saying about it, because you know the Devs will do nothing about it, the choice is yours. And I respect that. Yet, I chose to talk about it, or cry about it in your vocabulary, as soon as the flaws exist and I want you at least give me the minimal respect as a human being.
  5. So that's is categorized as crying in the Wolvey dictionary. OK. If you don't like it, you are free to ignore it. No one force you to read and reply, although you can't even read properly anyway. The close button is on the upper right corner of the screen, feel free to use it sunshine. Also, you missed the point entirely. I was complaining about everyone can just switch protection modules at anytime, creating situations that a player has to face which the entire enemy team has protection against him. It is also mentioned in the latest V-Log in case you missed that. It is not about winning, or losing. In fact, such situation is unlikely to happen unless a particular player is performing exceptionally well (or in other words, most threatening to the enemy team). So I understand that you never meet those situations and have no idea how that feels. Thanks and I have much less death as well. Also, why are you counting kills in Siege mode? Isn't the point of Siege is to capture points and preventing the enemy from capturing? If you think that's not impressive enough, beat me Wolvey. BTW, you live up to your name. As aggressive as Wolverine in Marvel. Acting before thinking. Unfortunately, you don't have Adamantium claws to rip people in half and super regen to heal you. So all you can do is screaming, laughing and keyboard fighting. Perhaps, that will make you feel better and give you the sense of "I'm better than you, you filthy mortals".
  6. I can think of two kinds of people who would use Premium Low level players Crisis users (to deal with their drug addiction problem) Otherwise, premium is useless
  7. Anyway, the changes of equipment change is gonna be implemented anyway. No matter how you guys like it, it is going away. So good luck guys. BTW this is how I perform when no one on the enemy team is using Vulcan protection. This is Siege mode. And before anyone of you calling me a camper, no I'm not. This is an easy game after all. Plus you are match against kids from time to time. There is no reason for you to get below 1 K/D in this game.
  8. What about the entire team put out emp immunity and smoky protection against you? What are you gonna do?
  9. Yeah, and this "bot" managed to beat you. Guess you are no match to a bot then? You already said Thunder is clear underpowered. So what's the point of comparing an underpower turret against a decent turret? As for Thunder protection, yes, everyone has it, but no one is using. Take a look at my screenshot, is anyone using it besides me? I use it because these four modules I have are the only one I have fully upgraded.
  10. What do expect? A guy with 0/9 crying about it? Please... What you should be thinking is how do I perform normally if 33/9 is what I can do while almost everyone on the enemy team has Vulcan protection. Just because you have bad performance in general doesn't mean others have to follow the same path. It is 50% damage reduction, used by almost everyone on the entire team. Just by description itself is enough to show how impactful it is. If a guy managed to perform well under such harsh circumstances, it means that he is good.
  11. The classic "Oh crap, the enemy Vulcan is too good. Let me just pull out my 50% damage protection and make him useless." moment. It is stupid for players can just switch protection modules mid-game. What's the purpose of upgrading turrets and specializing builds when the entire team can just pull out an 50% damage protection and, BAMB, that threatening guy is suddenly useless, as if his GS has been reduced by half.
  12. Well, I'm sure if loadout is gonna be a thing, you will get one loadout slot for free and then you will have to spend tank coins to get more loadout slots. And the more slots you have, the next slot requires more tank coins to unlock.
  13. It is a mixed bag. The core mechanism is fun, but it has been established a decade ago. Yet, the Devs appears to don't know what they are doing. One one hand, they are avoiding big changes that is obvious enough to make the game better. On the other hand, they are releasing a message of "we are trying to make the game fun for every one" while making minor changes that barely changes anything.
  14. You can kind of tell it is going down hill when It has to merge all servers into one, indicating it is running out of players. In fact, some people are argue that this is also the reason why MM matches players in different GS together. Keep releasing copied-and-pasted, P2W item into the loot box pool, indicating the Devs are looking for quick money instead of thinking in longer terms Still sticking to a decade old game and legacy framework. Who the hell play browser games these days? Failed to make any new products. This group of Devs has made 3 games so far. 2 of them are dead within one year it is officially released and all they have is TO. The fact speaks for itself.
  15. Ah, some one has grown smarter. He finally able to tell the differences between compliment and sarcasm. Like Thankxtu said, how wonderful.
  16. I test the drug consumption again. Legend rank + Premium + Battle Pass = losing cash per game Legend rank + Premium + Battle Pass + ultra weekend = barely able to keep up This is because battle duration extended from 7 min to 15 min rank up crystal replaced with useless loot boxes drug rewards replaced with useless loot boxes @NikmanGT Stop merging ideas and call it a day. Do what you are supposed to do.
  17. Let's be honest. No one would use Adrenaline if people have a choice except Vulcan. Now Vulcan users choose Adrenaline not because it is a good choice, but because it is the best of the worst.
  18. Unfortunately, XP in this game is a burden. There is no point to level up at all. In fact, when you do so too fast, your gear and cash flow cannot keep up.
  19. Now, does my Math enough to explain to you that the so call 1k+ DPS is not practical in actual fight, especially when face-to-face? Booster, on the other hand, can achieve that practically. Yet you lose some damage reduction (when compared with Crisis max. armor mode) and have a chance of drugs downtime, not exactly a good thing for me since I'm able to stay alive for very long. To be honest, if Vulcan is as OP as you were suggesting, you should have already abusing it long ago isn't it? Instead, you chose Smoky. That shows at least in your opinion, Cryo/EMP Smoky is more effective than Vulcan.
  20. Ah so you are talking about the best case here. Yet, if you have submitted proposals before (either for school or for work, since I don't even know how old you are), then you should know that best case scenarios worth ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in evaluations. You should at least compare the average case, and/or worst case. Yet, you know the biggest mistake you have made in your calculation? You mixed best and average case scenarios in to one single case, essentially corrupting the result. Best case raw damage = ( 800 [base damage] + 800 [extra crit damage] * 10.52% [crit chance] ) x ( 1 + 33% [Adrenaline] + 100% [Boosted damage] + 60% [Crisis, max. damage mode] ) = 882 * (1 + 193%) = 2584.26 DPS This is the absolute best case scenario, although not practical at all. Yet, best case only works when no one is targeting the Crisis user. No Crisis users will stupid enough to stay in max damage mode for long because you don't have boosted armor when in this mode, making you extremely vulnerable. Instead, we stay in max. armor mode for the longest, especially when in 1 vs 1, face to face fights. So, Average case raw damage = ( 800 [base damage] + 800 [extra crit damage] * 10.52% [crit chance] ) x ( 1 + 11% [Adrenaline, lets assume it is 11% on average as you have suggested] ) = 882 * (1 + 11%) = 979.02 DPS Now that is when the enemy doesn't have boosted armor. Yet, as you have suggested, you seldom faced such case, so the average DPS should be 979.02 / 2 = 489.51 DPS. While do note that the Math here failed to show that we will have +190% damage reduction instead of the usual +100%. Now what happen if we have Booster instead of Crisis instead? Average case raw damage = ( 800 [base damage] + 800 [extra crit damage] * 10.52% [crit chance] ) x ( 1 + 11% [Adrenaline, again, lets assume it is 11% on average] + 100% [Boosted damage] + 30% [Booster, damage bonus] ) = 882 * (1 + 141%) = 2125.62 DPS Again, because of enemy using boosted armor, the effective DPS should be 2125.62 / 2 = 1062.81 DPS. Now what 1062.81 DPS means? It takes 3 sec of continuous firing to destroy a medium hull. During that, the Vulcan user cannot take cover and cannot miss. This is one of the so call best drones we are talking about here. To be honest, previously you said the DPS is around 1150, and then you claimed it is 1258 after you have actually done some maths, although still being wrong. That's about 10% difference here. What do you think how your Math teacher will mark your answer if this is one of your exam questions? You can't even justify your own answer with your Math and you are trying to educate me on how to do primary school Math? Pathetic
  21. Where does that 1150 DPS come from? According to the wiki, it should be 800 DPS, when no other factors are considered. Please, at least take a look at black and white materials instead of recalling from your fading memory when you are trying to state factual contents. Also, this is one of the characteristic of Vulcan isn't it? High DPS, low burst damage. Those XP/BP guys can take great advantage of using covers of playing peek a boo but you can't do the same with Vulcan. I thought you just mentioned how status effects are more annoying and effective. Using augments that applies EMP, AP and stun will do greater good isn't it (e.g. Your lovely AP Smoky)? Or are you already using those, which is direct counter to protections and you still failed to deal with protections? So you are suggesting people to counter a passive with their ult? G Well that depends why do you think otherwise. Well, it is. Why? Because the Devs decide what is balanced and what is not. They ARE the definition of balance. If Devs decided this game is perfectly balanced as is, does anyone here have any say about?
  22. @stat.padder Let me keep you updated to prove it to you that how frequent it is when the entire team just decided to swap protection modules just to counter me alone. This is the first game of today. BTW, this is my second game, just for comparison. So that you would understand, just because a player managed to get high K/D doesn't necessary means he is relying on OP augments or camping. This game is easy to play after all. This is what I'm capable when my team mates are not totally garbage and not every one on the enemy team switch to Vulcan protection (there are two in this game, but not a big deal). And this is the forth game, also the last of today. In this game, half of the enemies switch to Vulcan protection just to deal with me. So far, there is 50% chance of me facing such situation while playing MM.
  23. Have it even once come in to your mind that perhaps I'm really performing that good, which the enemy team has to all switch to Vulcan protection just to counter me? And this happens frequent enough for me to post at least one of such screenshot per day (if I play this game that day)? To stop you from keep "assuming" what I'm using, let me just tell you what my build is Turret: Vulcan (Adrenaline) Hull: Titan --> Crusader --> Paladin (starting to use in this Month) (Heat Immunity) Drone: Crisis (some one argues it is not the best drone despite it is premium, yet it fits me) Protection Modules: Railgun, Thunder, Gauss, Armadillo (never changed) That because you are not good enough for the entire enemy team to switch protection modules just to counter you alone. Remember, Vulcan doesn't have any OP augments, you literally deal 50% less damage (or 25% less on average if you consider crits ignore protection) to almost EVERY enemies when they do so, and there is no way for you alone to get around it. Against an enemy with 50% damage reduction in 1 vs 1 IS a certain death. Of course this will be another story if we consider other factors, like other players get involved or I have much higher GS/health than my opponent. Yet, this is not how comparison should be conducted, right? Then what you should be asking is how the hell am I able to get 3.8+ K/D on average when I never equipped any status immunity augments, other than Heat Immunity Vulcan doesn't have all those fancy OP augments A lot of people, especially in Legends, are using OP augments in MM Before you accuse of of camping, no I didn't, or I won't be in top 1 in Siege. What are you trying to say here? Previously, you just mentioned how annoying status effects, and how insignificant protections is when compared to them. Now, you are trying to justify the importance of protection with the existence of status effects? Isn't that contradict to what you have suggested?
  24. Module itself is not the worst thing. Yes it is annoying. As soon as you have the module against your opponent and your opponent doesn't, you have already win the 1 vs 1 fight. But since there are 15 options and you can only choose at most 4 of them, you seldom encounter enemy teams who all have protections against you. However, the most annoying part is protection modules can be swapped during battle with no paneity. That one guy on the enemy team is preforming too good and annoys you? No worry, just make sure your entire team slaps the 50% damage reduction on he is suddenly useless. I would assume you seldom experience where the entire enemy team just switch protection modules just to counter you. So you don't quite get the idea. But tell me, why should I get punished and force to switch just because I have good performance? And if the enemy team use their brains to counter, isolate and gang up on me, I wound be happy to accept. Yet, what happened in this game for very long time is, "that guy is too annoying, let us just put on my 50% damage reduction to make that guy totally useless"
  25. Many people seem love to use the existence of protection modules to justify whether a turret is balanced. Instead of discussing the turret only, they said "Just equip modules and you will be fine". Similar thing also appear when the OP version of Tesla just appeared. "It will be fine soon as more people are using Tesla protections." "Tesla feels OP now because no one is using protection against it" - Said by some of the guys in the forum These are just nonsense. Comparison and experiment should be conducted when there are no any other factors affecting the results. Isn't it a common sense? What's the point of the comparison when you slap a 50% damage reduction on it? Of course the turret will look weak. Even more nonsense, when the Devs nerfed the Railgun in one of the previous patch. "May be the Devs want to nerf it by buffing it. Because nerfing it will result in less people using Railgun protection which in return indirectly buffing Railgun" - Said by one of the mods What in the world is this?
