I love this quote so much.
-
I blame the stupidity of some of us here for this. It is a simple game of supply and demand. Clearly, there are demands for these stupid augments even with the non-sensible price tag. Or this plan won't work. Remember that dude who spent 3k Euro just to get a drone cosmetic? And if I were the Devs, I would do the same. It doesn't matter whether a product make sense as soon as there are dumb customers buying it
-
Yeah. Just close this
-
I'm 100% sure it will not be a battle pass reward in the near future
-
Well, guess my only bet is the damn loot boxes then, if the Devs do decided to add it
-
I'm actually quite confused. Because the rule says I won't get the award if I don't earn 50 stars in the corresponding round, which is already passed. But then we have an expensive offer that allows people to join the event in the middle. So the question is can I still get Jammer Band if I join at this moment?
-
Is that mean if I've not participated in the event at all, it will be too late to get the augment even if I join the event and managed to get 50 stars now?
-
Ah, I see. And I bet they will eventually.

Jamming Band? When is this a thing?

https://en.tankiwiki.com/Augments#Augments_for_Vulcan So I noticed there is suddenly a Jamming Band added in the wiki for Vulcan. When is this a thing? And is it no longer available? -
So, let me get this straight. To "simplify the game", the Devs decided to Remove some features and refund 60% of what they cost to the customers Turn the same features into "new features" and resell them for god knows how much rubles they cost this time And this is all for the sake of the customer experience yeah? I have to say. This is properly the craziest business plan I've heard for a very, very long time. But yeah, as soon as there are people buying it, that will work, right?

I will still use Paladin over Crusader, simple because Crusader's ULT is an absolute garbage. It doesn't matter how good the damage is if you can't hit anything
-
Honestly, I would rather have Paladin's ULT to apply AOE healing only, while have its recharge speed a bit faster. After so many patches with the wiki being outdated so constantly, I can't even remember what the OD supposed to do besides healing.
-
Honestly, it shouldn't really be in the game in the first place. Homing missiles that rain from the sky, ignoring 90% of covers Really? There is no way to balance it properly.
-
TO in a nutshell: Imagine it is CS:Go but the Devs decided to add grande launcher and homing missle launcher as primary weapons And most important thing is, they are super proud of it
-
Except BOSS, who just spent $3k on Crisis XT awhile ago. I could already imagine his frustration of not being able to flex his exclusive drone
-
If you know a little about marketing, then it should be clear to you that why some games decided to do so while some don't feel the need of doing that. A little tip, your reaction is a very good demonstration of one of the advantages of doing so
-
Let me guess, it's the tank coins, right? Gonna increase them so that BOSS will spend even more next time when you guys release another super dupper awesome exclusive item
-
I know this sound stupid, but this is a feature, not a bug. I know, I know. It doesn't take genius to figure out why this is a bad thing, but that's what the Dev decided to do
-
No, you are wrong. Actually, they will make even more OP augments, but in a much slower pace. Now, instead of putting those in loot boxes and launch a new wave of ultra weekend, they will launch a new event and make the augment the top price just like what we have now with Crisis XT. And you bet there will be more folks (I really want to use the most accurate nouns to address these folks but then the censorship team will just wipe my post so I guess I will stick to the generic term) spending 3k euro just to get that only to find out a new, even more OP augment is introduced a month later. Now they get less work to do, but more profit
-
Just think about how many 3A games we can buy with 3k euro, even when they are in full price. And then proceed to think about how we can make use of that 3k in anything else besides something vague like video games. Just anything. Any sensible person will not spend 3k on a Crisis skin.
-
Yeah, I haven't seen anyone would pay 3k euro on something that is A virtual cosmetic item that offers no practical advantage what so ever A low effort reskin with CS:GO level graphics (which CS:GO is released in 2012 in case you didn't notice) Is tiny that no one will be able to notice that unless you deliberately looking for it In a game that is barely holding itself together, risking of losing the item that he just spent 3k on in the very near future Yep, there is definitely no competition to that. I know how many cash people can pour into video games, so spare me your lecture. Diablo Immortal is already a very good example of that. But at least, people there spent on something that actually make themselves OP in the game. Or in other games like Fortnite, where cosmetics are actually creative and gorgeous (even the graphics is not 3A level). I can understand why people may find it worth it. But this dude Boss, is a whole different level. He lives up to his name of being the Boss of Alternativa, at least in terms of investment. Quite frankly, I think he (or his parents) seriously need a financial consultant to give him advice on how he/she should managed his/her assets.

I don't think that wow is an impressive wow, but a "this type of people really exist?" wow. BTW, get prepared for the mods to remove our posts.
-
3k euro is enough to build a NASA-graded PC and play Cyberpunk in 144Hz RT on. But guess what? Boss decided he should spend it on a skin with 2010 level graphics instaed. No wonder this game is still not dead after the Devs making all those stupid decisions.
-
For pro battles, there are mainly two types really. Polygon CP, which is fun, but close range turrets have huge advantage obviously. And Serpuhov CTF, which 99% of people just camping (even when the match has no time limit). I soon get bored of it.
-
Unfortunately, this game doesn't reward buyers well, at least not what they have paid. You see there are two type of big spenders. One that knows what they are doing. They understand the value of every thing they purchased. If a product is expensive but worth the price, they go for it. If vice versa, then they don't even bother no matter how cheap that may be. And on the other hand, there are another dude, who will just pay thousands and thousands on things that don't really mean too much. Well at least they though it is worth it. I mean, any reasonable human being will not spend a few hundred bucks on loot boxes, knowing that you only have 0.1% chance (or even worse) of getting what you want. Even gamblers are smarter than that. I'm a buyer myself. Just because I want to have some fun in my free time. But when the Devs intentionally keep shifting the meta by playing with all those gimmicks in their hands, basically encouraging customers to keep spending, e.g. Intentionally introducing OP augments on one and only one particular turret, especially when most of them are just copied and pasted Constantly doing "balance changes" Then I just ask myself, what's the point of spending in this game, when my fun will just literally go away a week later? And even worse, they created an illusion that "there so many play styles!! Look at all these turrets and hulls!!!". And we all know that certain play style and combo is simply objectively better because there is an OP item that goes with it. I don't know. May be he expects admirations and congratulations from us. Hey, mods. Time for you to do your job. Do what you do best, besides censorship.
