Yeah, I haven't seen anyone would pay 3k euro on something that is A virtual cosmetic item that offers no practical advantage what so ever A low effort reskin with CS:GO level graphics (which CS:GO is released in 2012 in case you didn't notice) Is tiny that no one will be able to notice that unless you deliberately looking for it In a game that is barely holding itself together, risking of losing the item that he just spent 3k on in the very near future Yep, there is definitely no competition to that. I know how many cash people can pour into video games, so spare me your lecture. Diablo Immortal is already a very good example of that. But at least, people there spent on something that actually make themselves OP in the game. Or in other games like Fortnite, where cosmetics are actually creative and gorgeous (even the graphics is not 3A level). I can understand why people may find it worth it. But this dude Boss, is a whole different level. He lives up to his name of being the Boss of Alternativa, at least in terms of investment. Quite frankly, I think he (or his parents) seriously need a financial consultant to give him advice on how he/she should managed his/her assets.

I don't think that wow is an impressive wow, but a "this type of people really exist?" wow. BTW, get prepared for the mods to remove our posts.
-
3k euro is enough to build a NASA-graded PC and play Cyberpunk in 144Hz RT on. But guess what? Boss decided he should spend it on a skin with 2010 level graphics instaed. No wonder this game is still not dead after the Devs making all those stupid decisions.

For pro battles, there are mainly two types really. Polygon CP, which is fun, but close range turrets have huge advantage obviously. And Serpuhov CTF, which 99% of people just camping (even when the match has no time limit). I soon get bored of it.
-
Unfortunately, this game doesn't reward buyers well, at least not what they have paid. You see there are two type of big spenders. One that knows what they are doing. They understand the value of every thing they purchased. If a product is expensive but worth the price, they go for it. If vice versa, then they don't even bother no matter how cheap that may be. And on the other hand, there are another dude, who will just pay thousands and thousands on things that don't really mean too much. Well at least they though it is worth it. I mean, any reasonable human being will not spend a few hundred bucks on loot boxes, knowing that you only have 0.1% chance (or even worse) of getting what you want. Even gamblers are smarter than that. I'm a buyer myself. Just because I want to have some fun in my free time. But when the Devs intentionally keep shifting the meta by playing with all those gimmicks in their hands, basically encouraging customers to keep spending, e.g. Intentionally introducing OP augments on one and only one particular turret, especially when most of them are just copied and pasted Constantly doing "balance changes" Then I just ask myself, what's the point of spending in this game, when my fun will just literally go away a week later? And even worse, they created an illusion that "there so many play styles!! Look at all these turrets and hulls!!!". And we all know that certain play style and combo is simply objectively better because there is an OP item that goes with it. I don't know. May be he expects admirations and congratulations from us. Hey, mods. Time for you to do your job. Do what you do best, besides censorship.

Together with your 23k tank coins? Well, that's even worse. That means you have wasted a significant amount of time on a bad video game. Guess what you could have done with all those time instead? Plus adding e-sport element in a P2W game is simply stupid. It's not a sport if it isn't fair. Now in a P2W game, there is no such thing called fairness. Certain game mechanics are simply objectively better and will never ever change. This is how the P2W business model works in the end.
-
Sure, if you pour enough money into this game. To be fair, any ordinary adult with a proper job will be able to afford every single item in this game. Now whether it is worth it to pour thousands into a video game is a total different story, especially one that is a badly executed.
-
Classic Alternativa. Let's solve a small problem while introducing significant side effect. @nayeon What did I just say to you a week ago? Don't expect nothing from this group of Devs. They're just hopeless. I'm too lazy to explain why this is a waste of effort. That's obvious enough for any ordinary human beings to notice that. Just, what's the point of this?
-
Surprise!!!!! Especially to that one dude who are so excited because he has 200 unopened loot boxes. Dude... Can you stop calling it chaos damage? Not only it sounds stupid and edgy, it makes zero sense. Just call it true damage every one else. Well, I'm not sure about that. It's more like a change of role instead of a straight buff. Speaking of mobile sniper, railgun is supposed to be the OG mobile sniper. And whether it is a good thing for two turrets fulfilling the exact same role? Well...
-
Well, first we have "You think making an app is easy?" (which the app has been WIP for half a decade BTW). Now we have "I want Scorpion in legendary". What next? "Tanki should be turn based"?
-
Nah, this should be the most accurate reaction I can think of.
-
And I have to admit, initially I thought Scorpion is Alternativa's newest creation to milk campers. And apparently I was wrong. Because they decided to release Thunder Hyperspeed shortly after, an even better campers milking machine. I mean Alternativa. You could have done better. Why not milk Scorpion first, and after you are done with it, like with this update, you then release Hyperspeed, so you get 2 source of income.
-
Well good luck then, if Scorpion was still playable by that time. Like this never happened before, right?
-
You must been away for a long time. All turrets have been put in containers since serval updates ago.
-
0,02% is too much, change it to 0.00% and i will purchase your Ultra Containers. Legendary? Well it doesn't sound that bad. You can find mine with the chances of getting the UFO Paladin skin. i.e. non-existance. And to those cheerleaders at the beginning of this thread, Alternativa thanks for your service to build up the hype and keep the community positive and proactive. That definitely helps. May be it will get better if you try harder.

Also, the decision of spending efforts on making a tutorial or some sort that is aimed toward newcomers is very weird. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that there aren't many "real" newcomers to this game. So what’s the point of spending considerable efforts on something that is expected to bring minimal benefits in return? I really can’t think of any factors that will make this decision worth it. In fact, Alternativa decided to make a video once per week is weird enough. For (1), usually, only big companies will have the resources to be able to manage the game (i.e. their project/product) itself while spending effort on making promotional materials themselves. For (2), usually for a project this small, and is not that active in development (it is not an EA), there simply aren't that many things to share every week. And as we see, in recent years these “Vlogs” started padding with stuff that most people don’t care about. I'm not sure who are the upper management of this company. But I have a few questions to those folks: Do you have a single clue of what you are doing? You do realized that TO is the only project that making your company alive, while the rest of your projects are pretty much a failure, right? You do understand the consequence of failing this last project right?
-
You are actually right. For people who are doing this type of jobs for living, it is indeed easy to do all those stuff. For programming, it takes me 3 days to learn TypeScript. I'm not too good at developing mobile apps, but I can develop a website within 1 week. If you don't believe me, go to fiverr.com and see how many days does those freelance developers promised to deliver a website. As for developing a game, yeah it is hard to maintain a legacy framework, but this is the rabbit hole Alternativa has decided to dig in. So shame on them. As for modem frameworks like Unity, man you should take a look what my classmate has accomplished with his school projects when we were still studying in university. There is literally a start-up company walk to his booth and ask him whether he has considered polish the game a bit more and make a good fortune with it. Remember, it is a damn school project that my classmate is only gonna spend time on it when he is not in class. I know you are a helper (or whatever the Russians called you) and there are some regulations that you have agreed to follow. But if you don't even know how the industry works or what you are talking about. Just don't say it.
-
When every single person call it "true damage", Tanki has to make it comfusing by giving it a fancy name that makes zero sense. Chaos damage? What the hell? Is that some dark magic stuff? You think this is D&D?
-
Yep, currently as soon as players are playing MM with Crisis, they lose money in every battle. Net loss, because you will spend more on drugs than you actually earn at the end of each game. It was still sustainable a while back before those Russians start replacing mission and rank up rewards with loot boxes. Now, well, you have to keep buying to sustain your normal use of Crisis. I say this in my personal experience, in which Crisis is my first lucky (not so luck anymore) Exotic drop, before all those fancy exotic skins and augments are a thing.

Agree. Crusader's ULT is really hard to use. It is designed to be a sniping tool but the aiming mechanism is an absolute trash. A slight bump from your team mates can throw off your aim completely and either missing entirely or even worse, killing yourself.
-
Nah, everything is fine. Totally not OP at all. What could possibly go wrong? BTW, he played CP like it is a TDM the entire game. And guess what? He gets the highest score.
-
And one more thing, some times some one proposed a really good idea that end up being implemented. Some times even copied and pasted. But the Devs never brother to credit those people. Not even mentioning their player name in the V-Log. And BTW, the way this company handles PR is an absolute disaster. Who the heck would think it is a good idea to add the 2nd sentence? Especially when a few people in the company is doing community management for living. For god sake.
-
Yeah. I know. You guys forward those and your job its done. But as I said, none of those actually matters, because the Devs are clearly doing whatever the heck they want to do.
-
Oh, even in here, no one cares as well, despite the helpers claimed they have forwarded the message, nothing will be changed
-
Yep who cares, not like the Devs are gonna change it in any meaningful ways. In fact, making it OP is exactly what they are going after. Or how would they able to sell this ridiculous thing?
