True, but then I didn't really have a choice, because "codex" was the first word I could think of from the remaining letters (and when fewer letters remain, it becomes quite difficult to form words without repetition)... I didn't try shaft because I had already used T in "myths".

I'll try to explain as simply as possible, because it's a long and dumb story... So I like to use "Hard Mode" (players compulsorily have to use those letters which have been guessed correctly by them, and green letters must be used in their own place) in Wordle even when it's not on :x Also, this happens to me many times: I can clearly see that a letter is yellow in a certain position, but I think of a word in the next second which seems plausible to my mind even though it has the same yellow letter in the exact same place, thus risking a complete wastage of that attempt. It's weird because I don't think twice before typing the word quickly and tapping/pressing <Enter>, and I regret my word-choice immediately after that... ? So — "codex" was my attempt to eliminate a few more letters to make my life easier (and to deviate from my habit of using Hard Mode even when it's off), but I guess my life is meant for taking L's ?

I was too busy laughing at that Firebird-Hunter fallen on its side... and so I managed to get flipped while zooming across the central platform, thanks to new hovering-hull physics (one side of my tank went down faster than the other while coming down the edge of the platform, so I kind of did a sideways 180 degree vertical turn — it was all planned though, I just wanted to show off the under side of Crusader, that's all... )

Every single one of the reactions that I mentioned (Confused, Hmm, Shrug) had a purpose — Confused for... well... showing that you didn't understand a post; Hmm for interesting/intriguing posts, as you said... And Shrug for "I don't know, maybe"... But these reactions were used as dislikes, and there's no denying that. What's "wrong" with dislikes? Nothing! But most (if not all) humans would naturally feel bad or demotivated if they suddenly start getting genuine hate for their opinions. Ideally, we should take criticism in a positive way, but then it's not fair to expect this attitude from everyone... : ( We cannot always control our reaction when someone criticises or mocks us, right? Also, we all feel like replying to the people who disagree with us and then perhaps even insult them. This does lead to a vicious cycle of toxic replies and counter-replies (although this doesn't happen all the time) that just make the forum a very unpleasant place.

There are many! Some of the commonest are "Tanki is already dead" though... Personally, I think that in the current situation — large-scale DDoS attacks and political tensions — Tanki will most probably shut down temporarily. If the situation escalates, however... Well, let's hope it doesn't. ?

If someone — anyone — wants to pick a fight, then would it not be great if they aren't given any fight? But I guess that's a bit too idealistic, so let's not dive too deep into it. There could be reasons behind not revealing information — the most obvious one being to avoid unnecessary toxicity over a seemingly "simple DDoS attack". That they need so much time to deal with it already suggests that it's a pretty serious issue, with possible political involvement. But then there are other ways to interpret this, and most people choose those ways because... well, it's rather convenient to call the Developers "incompetent", isn't it?

Oh well, it had to be done... Started off with <Confused>, then <Hmm>, and then ended with <Shrug> ? (Maybe I got the timeline wrong, not sure ?)

I laughed soooo much while reading this once again (and this is like the 10th time). Man, I'm feeling sad that I won't ever laugh like this again now that you've gone... The Newspaper's gone, humor has gone, and the forum is a strange place now... It is fun, occasionally, but I'll be honest — most of the fun is carried by Maf (and there's also that one topic pretty much owned by Bydo and MonkeyBurn, much fun). There probably was a downtime, but it didn't seem to be continuous/uniform ("a few hours"). Some players could play normally while others reported issues — intermittent availability of the game. It's highly likely that they'll give a brief explanation in the V-LOG, because it'll be better for them if all the confusion and anger caused by this problem is dealt with as soon as possible. I personally don't mind even if they don't give a decent explanation, but there are many others here who've been demanding it

Or, they fixed it and then the issue resurfaced — or another issue occurred that they could never have predicted. If there's so much uncertainty, I don't expect any prompt announcement even though it may be required at this moment. Regarding the ad hominem attack, I apologise — that particular comment just struck me differently, and hence I reacted without thinking much. I have edited it out.

[Removed] Yes, accountability is important. But the management also has the right to withhold information as it sees fit. There's no way you can know their thought-process. Then why don't they explain their thought-process, you might ask? There could be multiple reasons behind that — maybe it's too complex to even announce to the general playerbase? It could potentially cause lots of confusion which might need even more effort to resolve? Or, it might involve revealing some sensitive plans that aren't meant to be revealed just yet? These are just a few reasons that I could think of at the moment... So, no — I don't mind one bit even if they don't reveal the details of the problem. I respect their decision and move on. It could be embarassing, yes, but when has humanity ever allowed an embarassed entity to live in peace? I don't think this forum will remain clean if the apparently embarrassing reason is revealed — so there's no harm in not giving any extra explanation beyond the bare minimum (something to do with cables). It's an online game, after all ?

Qualms? None, because I don't have enough information — I don't like to jump to any conclusions without understanding the situation fully. I've got into many awkward situations before... Concerns? Yes. I am as optimistic as my mind allows, because one must be practical too...
