valid Lower graphics setting for Remastered maps
PirateSpider replied to curseuAARON in Ideas and Suggestions
I don't care if they remaster maps or not. But the remastered maps they've given us have posed a huge problem. I don't know what other people do, but when I'm in MM, I'm focused on the battle. Not going around sight seeing. So yeah, the artists are just wasting their time for the most part adding something that only the very minority of the players will be able to enjoy. Can't they just add it in the settings? "Revert Remastered maps back to older version". -
⚠️ On Thursday, we will start servers a bit late, I have a question referring to this
PirateSpider replied to Drones in Archive
Do you mean shut down and start working on the servers later? -
That too. Forgot about that.
-
To add on to this: Player 1 probably had more kills overall and some of the deaths were self-destructions. Or player 1 was playing a support role.

valid Lower graphics setting for Remastered maps
PirateSpider replied to curseuAARON in Ideas and Suggestions
My laptop can almost just play tanki again. The biggest problem that I'm facing on my laptop are remastered maps. It just can't handle them. So it shouldn't be unreasonable for wanting the devs to add an option to revert the remastered maps back to their older version. -
Anyway, I wonder what the devs are gonna do that'll cause at least half an hour delay? Are they finally gonna optimize the servers for better performance?

You know the notices that appear at the top of the forum page? I tried to find a topic about them but never did so I decided to make one.
-
Well, maybe he got banned by a Russian mod then. ? You could still do it in DM, just move a little bit every so often. I'm sure there were quite a few people who complained about that version of tanki. I don't have proof, but we do live in an era where people get their feelings hurt over the silliest of things. So I wouldnt be surprised.
-
At least with gauss, if an enemy knocks off your aim in mid-lockon, you can still get another chance to complete it and deal the damage. With railgun, if an enemy knocks off your aim in mid-delay, you risk missing your shot and have to wait until reload.
-
And even if I was clear. If the mistake was still made, I wouldnt want them to lose their position. I think the best way to go about this is to either let the mod themselves know or talk with the admin.
-
I used the Google translater to go from English to russian. And the translator gave me a different reading. Yeah, I could get it tomorrow. I just wish they gave us like at least another day or two in advanced.

So I asked in the RU forum where I can get the early information for the first may challenge. This is where the link that one of their mods gave me: https://tankionline.com/ru/2023/04/majskie-prazdniki-3/ And then they closed the topic.

What should stay and what should go in TO.
PirateSpider replied to TargetXAcquired in Game Discussion
I can't help but feel like you're thinking I'm one of those players. Let me tell you what I think. I think that since its their game, then they should be allowed to do whatever they want with it as long as its legal. That means they could basically reject our feedback if they want. (If they want to keep the players, then that probably isn't a smart idea). At least they're not forcing us play everyday or all day or at a specific time. -
What's in the first may challenge?
-
Well, I mean he did get banned for wasting a battle mods time. Well, it it also requires the player to put in the effort to enjoy a game. Lets say there was "A more fun" version of tanki like around 2014-2016 era. You go into a DM battle and decide for whatever reason to not get kills (even though you can easily get them). You did this for a few more battles, and then complain that the game "sucks". Now that's not a fair judgement, is it?
-
Its pretty clear that its a buff. The regular damage decrease changed from -75% to -50%
-
Then are you gonna report just that one guy because he and everyone else is focusing on kills? Are you just just gonna report everyone that focuses on kills? A player could just be lagging really bad and could look like they're pushing you. But really you'd just happen to always end up in the path that they're going. And vice versa. At this point, players shouldn't expect a game to make them happy. If the game is making them unhappy, then they should take a break or quit.

What should stay and what should go in TO.
PirateSpider replied to TargetXAcquired in Game Discussion
This is a short list of changes that I think should happen: • Every emp, stun, ap, and pulsar status augment should be removed (obviously players should be compensated). They can remain on overdrives. The immunities can also stay. The jammer, burn, and freeze augments can also stay. • ASL should be removed from regular MM and put back into the event mode scene. DM should be brought back as a regular MM mode. • A feature needs to be added that asks the player in question if they want to be the next juggernaut. If they accept, then they'll be the next juggernaut. If they decline, then it'll ask someone else. • Turret augments should have unlock ranks like they did before. • Daily mission star rewards should change from 3 to 5 stars while weekly mission should go from 9 to 10 stars like they were before. Lets start with those for now. -
Why do my upgrades say 'Insufficient Tankoins' while having a crystal price?
PirateSpider replied to ZeeBricks in Archive
Insufficient tankoins while still being in the crystals price? Hmm, maybe it was a glitch? -
Actually it'd be around 48 weeks if your only crystal source was from 3 battles a day 7 days a week if you get 3000 crystals every day. From this this is what your progress would look like: 210k crystals at week 10 420k at week 20 630k at week 30 840k at week 40 1.05m at week 50 So at week 48 that'll be like what? 1.018m crystals? When we throw in all the other sources, containers being the wild cards that they are. I'd say it'd probably take maybe around 16 weeks on average to get a million.
-
Yeah that's not very realistic, it'd be more like: 1 week if you get impossibly lucky with ultra containers 1 month if you get mega lucky with containers 3-4 months if you do nothing but play 24/7 6 months if you play actively with a great amount of luck from containers 1 year of casual playing with some luck from containers That's just the shortest time frame for each of these scenarios.
-
That's not a reason to ban someone. It really depends. If he's this frustrated, maybe he should take a break from the game for awhile.
-
Maybe not, but if I can know what he means by "ignoring the battle mode" or "crashing into teammates" in more detail, it'd help judge the situation better. I have met some people in the past that think getting alot of kills and accidentally bumping into a teammate once is "sabotage".
-
This concept is quite similar to the adaptive reloads augments. But instead of increasing the reload speed or instantaneous reload, the next shot will just deal 15-20% more damage of that it would normally deal. This would be an augment for: -hammer -smoky -Tesla (maybe?) -striker -thunder -scorpion (maybe?) -railgun -gauss -magnum (maybe?) -shaft. For turrets that can kill more than 1 enemy per shot, it would be something like this: •1 enemy = 15-20% damage increase •2 enemies = 30-40% damage increase •3 enemies = 45-60% damage increase •4 enemies = 60-80% damage increase • 5 enemies = 75-100% damage increase
-
I think the mods may have removed it among many other things to declutter the forum.
