Sooo I have to be a mindreader to know which questions the developers feel like 'potentially' answering on any given day? Dude, if I knew what the developers were thinking, I'd understand why they are driving this game into extinction--and I wouldn't need to ask the question in the first place. ***And let's be honest here. 'Are you trying to lose players?' is actually a VERY valid question based on the chronology of updates. And the question isn't even close to being "obscene" either.

(I've tried to ask, but Nik keeps taking my questions down because it might make the devs cry. Or whatever.) For matches involving tanks with Gear Scores 100 to 8000, MM based on GS is definitely the answer to this problem, though. After Legend, I'm not sure what a good MM system is. You're probably more experienced in that area than me. Make the battle capped so that there is a maximum GS that can enter. If you change your tank mid-battle to something with a much higher GS, you get booted out. Or make it so you can't change your tank at all. I mean, if you don't like the battle in your current tank, you can always leave and find another instead of changing your tank, so that's always an option. For me, I always look at the enemy GS when I enter a battle and if there are a significant number of the enemy that are GS 2-3k+ higher than me, I leave. I don't even look at their rank because rank doesn't matter in a battle. ***I just played an assault battle where most of my team was GS 2-4k and so was the enemy. We were winning. Then, an 8k Scorpion of similar--but higher--rank entered on the enemy side. Which side do you think won the battle...? Exactly. For this reason, 100-8000 has to be GS.

I believe the solution has to be Gear Score. Ultimately, Gear Score determines how much damage you inflict and how much damage you take. This is what determines kills and deaths. And this is kinda the point of the game in the first place. Nothing else. (That's why almost no one chooses Isida) Rank is only present in the game to keep you moving along with upgrading your tank. If you keep playing the game, but don't upgrade your Gear Score as your Rank increases, you learn very quickly that getting one-shotted from the other side of the arena by someone of the same Rank who HAS upgraded their tank to a higher Gear Score isn't very fun at all.

They don't want good ideas. They want money making ideas from a dwindling player base.
-
If it isn't already.

I guess your tanki definition of 'obscene' and the actual definition of 'obscene' are different. And I mean, the direction this game/product is taking (and questions surrounding it) is the elephant in the room that no one is getting an answer from the actual person who can answer the question.
-
My complaint is that my perfectly valid questionS to the developers are being deleted summarily by the mods. Am I hurting the developers' feelings by asking my questionS? Am I making them cry?
-
Yeah, that's worse than before. Brutal. Just brutal.
-
Would you say that tanki is losing you as a player as a result of this?
-
Is the matchmaking even worse than it was before? I mean, it doesn't even look like they're TRYING to hide the uneven teams. Are there so few players now that they'll take the first 20 tanks to fill an arena regardless of gear score...?
-
I have an idea. How about a game where everyone on both teams has a similar gear score. That might be a really interesting mode to try.
-
You should be used to being lied to. It's your country's way.
-
And I'll give MY criticism. And I'll continue to assume that you are from one of the countries where this kind of fraud happens all the time and you are just too comfortable with it being against you.
-
And yet, 7 people here in this thread can't see what is plainly obvious to you (and I).

I beg to differ if he supports tanki. " Again, never said anything about harm--and this is where I asked the forum to explain that to you because your comprehension of my words is lacking. I said it's a business. And it's fraud. So, yet again, you aren't having the correct understanding needed to reply to this conversation. I'm not sure what your primary language is, but it obviously isn't english (based on your replies). And I had hoped to continue debating this, but you seem ill-equipped to. Notice---nothing about harm. That's ok if you are, you really don't know any better and to that i say 'A fool and his money are soon parted'. And for that reason, you always have already lost. Notice--nothing about harm. Imagine a company that doesn't remove/nerf turrets, hulls, and drones because people have spent money on them. Imagine a company that doesn't do beta testing in live arenas because it isn't ethical to have a vastly superior tank play against lesser tanks (who have paid money). That's my final word. Good luck understanding.

Company = business. Can someone else explain this to him in whatever his primary language is, please?

I know that is the trend for online games (and pretty much online anything--remember myspace...?) to go up and then gradually decline and die. However, think of the broader aspect of gaming: There are still hardcore people who play monopoly. Yes, monopoly. And that was invented in 1935 and it's rules have never ever, ever, changed. They didn't introduce new properties. They didn't introduce new magic rules or anything like that. And people STILL buy it and play it often. Point is, the people who play 'the next best thing' games always leave. Those people get easily tired of the 'floaty tanks', questionable updates, nerfs and the game itself in general. And those are the kinds of people are who tanki is currently marketing their game for (with all the kooky floaty tanks and nerfy updates). The players they SHOULD be marketing their game for are the hardcore ones who never leave. In other words... the monopoly players.
-
it's fraud. Do you not understand what fraud is? And it's not a game. It's a business.
-
I wouldn't buy either. I mean, chances are it'll get nerfed in the next update anyways.
-
Again. Fraud is fraud. Doesn't matter if it's a ruble or ten thousand rubles because it's the thought behind it that makes it fraud. And if the person who did it thinks what he did was acceptable, then who knows what else they think is acceptable to do to the paying customers. It doesn't matter if it's just a game to you. To some, it's something they pay money for. And it is ethically wrong. Not sure why you're having such a difficult time accepting this.
-
It is fraud because he has an unfair advantage over the other players in the arena--as identified by one of the players. The topic was closed before i had a chance to reply to your post. If you do not wish to converse via pm, then do not reply to me via pm.

Except that unbalanced matchmaking system undermines the entire process when a new player gets continually one-shotted from the other side of the arena by someone with a gear score 6k higher than them (and who already has that unavailable new equipment). New players obviously lose interest fast. As evidenced by the number of players tanki has lost.
-
Are you ever going to fix the matchmaking system to even make it a little bit fair?
