stop Funny how you delete mine, but not his. His is an answer to a question what wasn't asked... Do better. eye roll. PS. Yes, there should be compensation for that, yoon.

So there has literally been someone calling someone else rude words in the game chat area. It's been there all day and has not been flagged by your frightfully (in)effective chat bot. Is there a reason for this? Or is this just another another example where the players have to educate and alert the employees of their job descriptions...?

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
Jeers4U replied to Maf in Game Discussion
You didn't ask a question, but that sentence is the answer. -
You shouldn't have to go to a 'special area' in tanki for fair battles. Plus, it's gear score that determines base damage. Not supplies. Turret with Gear score 7k+ will always beat turret with Gear score 2k+
-
Hey Matchmaking Doofus. Stop putting 7k tanks on the enemy against my entire team of 2k+ tanks. ESPECIALLY DON'T DO THIS WHEN THEY ARE WINNING Signed: Everyone

For the appearance of giving you something while simultaneously taking away something (somewhere else--and probably more valuable) within the game.
-
Weird how the Brutus explanation still mentions batteries tho.
-
Another patch of fluffy cosmetic updates and nerfed turrets.
-
yeah, so I can battle other tanks that have gear scores that are double mine. No thanks. Same sh.. different arena.

Greed and the love of more and more money.

Tired, boring, hack-fest known as festive mode. The only thing that changes is the map. Yawn.

They can't bring the old MM system back as far as choosing the map you wanted to play. There currently aren't enough players to fill all the maps that were available. My personal favorite was skyscrapers, but I guess that one didn't make the cut. Personally, I'd rather see a weekend where they bring back a bunch of the older maps for us to play in rather than the completely tired, worn out, and thoroughly hacked 'Event Modes (of Boredom)'. I leave many, many matches before finding an evenly matched map as well. It's normal now. I look at the balance of the teams when I first enter a match. If it's uneven, I leave. Sucks that we have to do that, but they really don't care to fix it. I think it depends on what the definition of 'broken' is to each person here. You're both correct. For me, 'broken' means 'unfair'. And the current MM system is vastly unfair (broken). Back in the old days, I probably wouldn't have joined a 10v5 battle either. but I'd be more likely to join the match knowing they all had similar gear score strengths. I leave 10v10 battles right now where 80% of the tanks on the enemy have a gear score of 4-6k higher than me

My personal favorite is the assault game where no one brings flags and the other team has k/d ratios of 5+ Love. It. So. Much.

Are the developers going to increase the game IQ of the bots they have in the battles?

I believe there are 3 types of players left playing tanki. 1) Those who are new and haven't had the 'pleasure' of knowing how crappy this game has become. Their baseline is today. They don't know how good this game was 5-10 years ago. I mean, didn't this game actually win an award in 2013? That was TEN years ago and it's gone downhill since that moment. The new players don't have that frame of reference to base their opinion on. They usually stop playing when the novelty wears off. 2) Those who still manage to enjoy tanki. These include hackers, buyers, tanki employees, and others. They genuinely come here and look forward to playing under whatever parameters the new updates bring with nerfed turrets and hulls--and manage to log in despite server issues. 3) Those who play out of habit. I include myself under this catagory. These are the players who don't necessarily enjoy playing or hate it enough to stop, but it's become a habit similar to smoking cigarettes or drinking coffee in the morning. For the most part, they complete their mission and log out. These people recognize this game for what it is and will never spend a single ruble on it. This group doesn't (ultimately) care about tanki and will find something else to play when it shuts down. Since I am catagory #3, I am not the target audience for whom the developers make this game for. I know this. I don't even think #2 is their target audience. #2s play the game no matter what kooky update, no matter what turret is nerfed, and no matter how many drones/hulls/turrets get taken away from them in the garage. They will pay their money. The devs know they will pay, so they don't target them with their updates either. I feel that they tailor this game for the people in #1, to try and get an endless stream of new players. The developers make floaty tanks, kooky turrets, and an endless supply of frivolous paints to try and capture the imagination of new players into spending their money before the novelty wears off. Also, they sell your email addresses for money when you 'link' your account. It's the oldest internet moneymaker on the planet. A new player wouldn't know that either.

Every once in a while the mosquito has to bite... ;-) And I think we both know where this game is going.
-
Me too. Been here for around 10 years. (Probably more, can't remember) I was here when isida drained energy from enemy tanks while simultaneously recharging it's own health. But 'reasoning' doesn't enter into it. If you have been here long enough, surely you already came to this conclusion. (I think you have) But personally, I really don't care how my question is phrased, if the devs answer it or not, or even if my question gets taken down (or not). Tanki is a dead game. We all know it. Even the workers here know it.
-
If the developers only visit the 'questions for the developers' thread--especially with a massively dwindling player base--then they really don't care about me, you, this post, this forum, or the game.
-
Careful, Inferno, try to make your question less obscene, less cussy, less harsh, less rude, and less disrepectful, so when the developers ignore your question anyways, at least everyone else in the forum won't be kept awake all night long worrying about how your phrased your question... Wonder if Nik will delete this comment despite it ALSO being a valid point.
-
Yet again. It isn't harsh, obscene, cussing, rude/HARSH/disrespectful. It's valid. The only ones taking offense to it are non-developers. So, I appreciate your feedback on my question, but I really don't care if you think my question is harsh and cry about it all day long.
-
Decrease the number of tanks required to start a battle. Example, does Berlin really need 28 total tanks...?
-
I agree with your post and your sentiment. I just want to point out that I didn't 'cuss'. Nor was the question 'obscene'. Nor was it rude/harsh/disrespectful. It was 100% valid. And maybe you people who are inflating the negative aspect of my comment--beyond all rational thinking--are those that need to look at themselves in the mirror and ask yourselves why...? It's like none of you have ever questioned authority before. (And maybe there's my answer right there...) If the airplane manufacturer's mistake actually killed people, the question is also valid. And what is more disrespectful? Killing people because you're incompetent at your job at the airplane manufacturing facility or questioning the result of that incompetence...?
