Not sure about this one. You raise a good point, but I don't think turrets should be intentionally made unbalanced at any rank. Perhaps at low ranks there could be a feature that forces Shaft players to be more active? For example bringing back the old (2012) feature where you couldn't camp with a full charge - if you let Shaft hit 100% charge, it would just put you out of scope mode without shooting. So players would be forced to either no-scope or scope in only when they see an enemy.

Pretty sure this is planned, considering that the battle list already has a filter for JGR battles, albeit empty.

So you're saying that when you buy a container, its rarity will be randomly selected and it will already be shown in your garage as having that rarity? I don't really see the point. In fact, I think it makes containers worse since it ruins most of the surprise of getting a cool item if you already know that you will get a rare/epic/legendary/exotic item when you open the container.

valid Firebird fire blast and Freeze fog more transparent
Maf replied to u812ic in Ideas and Suggestions
Valid I feel like the "fog" is an intentional effect that is meant to make fighting close range turrets more difficult. But I agree that sometimes it's just obnoxious and blocks your view even if the fire/freeze is a teammate. -
Not good enough, IMHO. You can already do 39 kills in an instant with Railgun on Dusseldorf and the current record is 27 with 1 shot, so 22 in a minute with help of friends is hardly impressive. You can try to get over 27 players together and kill them all with a single blow using Freeze, and that would qualify for "biggest multi-kill".

This is a forum glitch that appeared in February this year. That's why if you look at yours or anyone's forum content, you will only see what was posted today or pre-feb2018. It's an extremely annoying issue, especially for us, forum staff. We reported it many times to developers, but unfortunately nothing has been fixed so far. Keep in mind that you also won't be able to search for content posted after February using the forum search feature. Searching for specific tags (like in I&S section) still works though. Also, you can access the topic via direct url (try looking in your browsing history) or just scroll through the pages and try to find it, especially if you remember the date when you posted it. If you have any more comments/questions about this, please reply in the Bugs and Glitches topic: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=275523 Closed.

I didn't decline the topic, in case that's what you're implying.
-
In that case it has no chance of being implemented.

The actual mechanics of hitting the ball will be confusing. How will it work for Fire/Freeze/Isida? If it's without autoaim, then how will people hit the ball? If there's autoaim, how to tell it where you want to shoot the ball (top/bottom/etc)? That's besides the point that making nice playable (not buggy) physics for the ball will probably be a nightmare for devs.

As said by others above, you can't just separate people into "pro" and "noob" based solely on their use of supplies. Regardless, you can discuss supplies here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=325057 Closed.

Just seems way too difficult for Tanki's general audience, so people will play it for a bit, get confused or frustrated and leave. I mean, even Juggernaut is hard for some to understand.
-
Sounds like fun, but not something that fits in with Tanki.

It's probably quite complicated to implement. I assume that animated paints are GIF files, and as far as I know, it's not easy to just change the speed of a GIF. Anyway, it just doesn't seem like something worth implementing.

Making sure the battle has a lot of time left, the teams are not too unbalanced (by number and by rank), the right map, the right game mode... At lower ranks people also looked at the battle rank limits to make sure their rank is closer to the maxium limit. Some people even check the teams to make sure no "enemies" are playing in the same battle. All-in-all it usually took over a minute to find the right battle.

Just over 100. Didn't care about them and just played normally. The 1 extra container is nice, allowed me to open my 4 mission containers all together (because 5) :p Me too. I think the star week event was just a test to see if stars work for crazy weekends. Next time they will hopefully balance the effort and reward.

Usually I don't waste time while waiting. I either go work on the forum, watch youtube, read reddit, or do something useful, etc. I rarely just sit there and stare at the timer. This is actually much more convenient than having to go to the battle list and manually choose the right battle like we did before.
-
I think it depends on how lucky you get with the timing. If you start queuing and at the same time a current battle finishes, then a lot of people will press "continue" and within seconds MM will send you to a new game it made for all those people. But if you queue just after a new game has started and no current battle is about to finish, you will have to wait longer. I personally just click play, go to another window/tab and check Tanki in a minute. If I've been waiting for over a minute, I cancel and queue again. Usually works quite well, but I agree that on average the waiting time tends to be longer than the "average time" shown.
