You should probably change the poll (or add another question) to find out how quarantine actually affected the amount of time people spend in the game. Something like "How many more hours do you spend in Tanki now compared to before the COVID-19 outbreak?" Also include an option for less time spent.

Oh come on, it's only a Legend-level tank going against Mk2s and Mk3s. What's the big deal? ?

How naive of you to assume that Riddler doesn't have access to unlimited gold boxes

Never forget those couple weeks of Dictator-Mechanic combos farming battle score in Assault mode. And Hornet Gausses shooting them up ?
-
There aren't really scientific explanations to everything in the game - it's just an arcade shooter. If you really want a reason for something, then, umm... QUANTUM MECHANICS!
-
I think it's not available in some modes? That would explain its reduced encounters. It should. I see no reason to have different probabilities for them.

If you want a complex setup, this is one of my favourites: Have around 10 Hornets line up on the main Highways bridge Place a mine in front/behind each one, alternating them. Have 3 Wasps stand at the end of the line-up, 20-30m away Use Mammoth Thunder Have an enemy tank place 2 mines in front of the Hornet line-up Start filming Go on the mines, get launched so that you get on top of the Hornets, drive over their heads and have them blow up on the mines behind you, drive to the end, shoot the three Wasps and get rank. P.S. you might be able to skip the mine setup if you just use OD, but I never tried that.

I'm sure there's quite a few completed ones in the archive, but we don't bother doing anything with those. However, there are also definitely forgotten completed ideas in the main I&S section, so I would appreciate it if you post links to such topics here if you come across them ? For example, this same idea about hull sounds was actually marked as "planned" in a different topic, so now I just marked it completed:

I always forget about containers when thinking about lower ranks. It's almost strange that while battle funds, daily missions and weekly containers have lower rewards, normal containers and challenge rewards remain the same. I'm not sure about the theory of lower rank containers being significantly better though. You need a much larger sample size than 2 containers in order to have somewhat accurate data.

Those kits are definitely not coming back, but if you check the HTML5 shop every 12 hours, you are likely to find a single supply bundle being sold with a decent discount. This is particularly useful for stocking up on repair kits and batteries. But the best approach is, as always, to just wait for a 50% garage sale and buy enough to last you until the next 50% sale.

If you had the capability of reversing a single update, which would it be?

Wait I changed my mind. #BringBackOldForum -
I agree. My thought on this is that Hornet should ignore only one layer of protection completely. Right now I believe there are five types which can all be used simultaneously: Module, Double Armour, Defender drone, Titan's shield, spawn protection. Hornet's OD should completely ignore the most effective protection (e.g. 100% spawn protection), but then perhaps reduce the second protection layer by 50%, and third by 25%. Or just keep it simple and completely go through one layer but be unable to affect the other layers. That way, a DD Hornet Magnum on OD would be able to one-shot a Viking with DA, a Viking with a 50% module or a Viking under Titan's dome, but it would have to shoot twice to kill a Viking with Defender drone, or a Viking that combines any two of: DA, Module, Titan's dome. I think that would be fair. I think Hornet's counter is the fact that it's a flimsy hull. All it takes is a couple good shots and either you knock off his aim or you just kill it. I think in that regard it's the same as other ODs, where in most situations once you see your opponent activate it, it's possible but very unlikely to react fast enough and counter it.

Why should the team that just lost a point get an even further setback by getting damaged/killed near their base?

Veteran paint was never meant to provide significant protection. The 15% universal protection it was given was only there so that the paint wouldn't be completely useless in battles. Once paints were no longer tied to protections, Veteran players were able to use proper protections while still being able to show off their paint. I agree there that there are too many paints - hardly any of them are recognisable anymore. But this is just due to the sheer number of them available in the game, rather than paints being tied with protections. -

You would cancel an amazing convenience update just because it caused you to lose one semi-exclusive item? Come on. That update was a huge improvement to the protections system, and so was the second one that separated modules into single units. I can't even imagine the rage from every single player if today developers suddenly announced that every paint has a set of protections tied to it, so if you want all the protection combos you have to buy ALL the paints ? If I could revert an update, it would probably be drones. Their actual concept is quite interesting, but the price of purchase, upgrades and usage is... something else. The new interface could use a LOT of improvement and it would be nice if it was closer to the one we're used to, but I'll let that one pass considering it's not fully complete yet.- 103 replies

(Where the Heck Did the Violators Section Go To?!) Hacker Uprising During Fool's Event
Maf replied to HappyFace in Archive
Hi What you most likely saw was a Railgun LC (Legacy) skin, which does indeed look a lot like M0, but does not affect the parameters of the turret. As for smart cooldowns - there are multiple drones which allow activation of two or more supplies at the same time, removing the smart cooldowns. The violations section has been closed a while ago. If someone is offending or bothering you in chat, please block them using /ignore, while if you think someone is breaking gameplay rules, you can use /vote or record a video and report it in the violators section on the Russian forum. You can switch the interface language to English for convenience (if it happens to be set to Russian by default). Closed.- 1 reply

OK, maybe I haven't used Thunder for a while. Or it could also be our different play styles.
-
Have you tried it? Sledgehammer is insanely powerful, because most combat happens at short-medium range. You just have to play with it as if it were Rico or Hammer, in which case it becomes far superior compared to its other alterations and default settings. The only situation where default Thunder is better than Sledgehammer is at medium range, where Sledgehammer's damage has dropped, but default's hasn't.
-
Thunder has Sledgehammer, which is effectively increasing its overall damage output. The damage it deals by default is already quite high, so I think adding a damage increasing alt would be rather mundane. Besides, I think at this point any new alterations for existing turrets will mostly consist of interesting new mechanics which will be sold for real money or tankoins.

We don't assign a status (e.g. decined/valid) to topics which will be merged. Sometimes we do add our own comment if we have one, but in this case there's nothing to comment since the idea is very straightforward.
-
Topics merged Agreed with both. It should also show your own protections and alteration at the bottom (or corner) of the screen like in Flash, since I find myself often checking what I'm protected from at that moment (because I change modules a lot).
-
I believe you're in the minority here. Most people actually use only one account most of the time, and the Remember Me feature is very useful for them, especially if they are a new user. Nonetheless, having it off by default does make sense because you only need to click it once if you do want your account to be logged into automatically every time after that. Why do you need to change your password though? Can't you just log out and log into another account?
-
Perhaps you're right, but then there's also 50% Magnum modules, which a lot of people use. Either way the main reason for the removal of the bottom floor was the large amount of false anti-cheat triggers caused by people jumping down.
