    Personal Stats, Ratings & Achievements

At last, a useful and popular update! I have forgotten what it looked like to change something in this game for better instead for worse.. Hope that info on real achievements (like ratio of drugs used per 100 kills etc) will be available. Good job :)

    Test Drives and personal discounts!

Good for you! See how Tanki rewards its best helpers? :P So keep up the good work!

    Test Drives and personal discounts!

Personal discount is rare, really rare. Test drive I think is even rarer... As in "just to be there as a bait"... And neither depends on the hours one plays or the times per day he logs in. Every day, the moment he logs in, he either get a discount / test drive or not. Probably not. See it as a lottery. Once a month or once half a year. ^_^

LOL you are saying total nonsense. (for example, we are talking drugging and you bring as an example some guy that plays a whole battle that gives him 200 crystals spending only one repair kit..??... lol shi fi staff) Probably ... no, I won't try to explain the source of your supposed incompetence in understanding. I suggest you read some players' topics on the matter, such as Brubook, Canadian_Eh, AbsoluteZero, DidYouKnowThat, ArgentHellion, creeperskelly, FogOfWar_XXX and others... a good start being the sum up ot this topic http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=246957&p=4714520 (and make sure you 've got the definition of drugging right before you attempt to defend it) having said that, I wish you good night and a proper widening of your views... as well as your math skills.

Dude, something's wrong with your seeing or your understanding. Daily bonus was free. Daily missions are NOT free. The require an amount of time and often unwanted battles as a price. But never mind that. Since you look at the price of the supplies kits, why don't you go a step further? Try to calculate the actual value of each supply in regard to the crystals earned. Every supply spend actually lessens the value of the crystals earned. [say, for instance, that you spend 200 crystal worth of supplies in order to earn 300 crystals in a battle. In reality, you earn only 100 crystals. The rest 200 are given back to the company.] Thus, Tanki has lessen very much the funds given to players. Even you can realize that, don't you? Drops - only battles are the best, not only from economy point of view but from game balance point of view. Come on, do the maths. EDIT: And just because you mention a soda, let me remind you that monetary values are NOT the same worldwide. One man's soda is another one's daily work. Tanki has adjusted crystals cost for Russians only, while for everybody else it's the same. And in Netherlands (i.e.) the daily wage is 15 times the Bulgarian daily wage... How about that...

@sonofchrysalis3 Actually, more or less your friend's moral sense is stronger than yours. I like her. I don't agree 100% with her, but I do more than 70%. I 'd advice you to try and comprehend her attitude and maybe learn a thing or two by that. And by the way, Alternativa's decision to establish such a plying environment in Tanki has lead many players to abandon this byers-only game. Maybe, many more in the near future.

    Change in forum feedback mechanism

downvote to this, because it lacks reason. It only stubbornly sticks to Tanki's least democratic decision to remove all negative feedback. And, by the way, here's some more feedback:

Episode 63 of the V-LOG is here

XT is not a skin, it's a real (well .. LOL) item, distinct from any other M3 or M3+ you own.. So, if you buy an XT hornet (for instance) while you already own an M3 hornet, you will have two items. The normal and the XT hornet. Each with its own modifications and MUs.

yes, but will it be available in battles or it will just stay idle (locked) until premium is bought again?

Long story short, you tell us what YOU prefer, what interests YOU and what matters in Tanki for YOU. But, you are not everybody. Many people pay to stand out, pay to get beautiful colors and to get fancy vehicles. I mean, you can't live in this world and don't know that. You know what? I have been a buyer too. Not a top buyer (the so called whale) but a small one. And to me, having an advantage through my money makes sense. But how big an advantage? Getting different hulls and turrets / modifications that non buyers don't have, is an advantage. Getting more paints than non buyers, is another advantage. MUing my main combo is another advantage. And getting special kits and kits of supplies, is another advantage (especially repair kits). For my level of buyer, getting some modifications and one or two paints was my limit. I couldn't get all the paints I wanted or MU my tanks through real money, and certainly special kits were out of my league by far. Even so, I had advantage enough. So, the level of full MUing the main combo(s) AND getting special kits AND supplies kits, is - IMHO - too much of an advantage. So, why really add another advantage to top buyers? What level of advantage is in your opinion enough? How much money does <<beating and humiliating everybody else in every single battle>> worth? What kind of person wants everything for thyself and nothing for the others? What kind of developer gives the right to anybody (over money) to dominate the game and use all non buyers as sandbox / moving targets? All these are real questions and I have real answers for them, only those answers wouldn't honor the game developers or some of the top buyers much... <_<

That is not really a good idea.. It would destroy one essential piece of the battle info, upon which one can adjust their strategy, turret and paint.. Furthermore, if one can't tell for sure what is the protection of one opponent from a specific turret, then how could one distinguish the premium user from the hacker that makes their tank invulnerable? Apart from this, all the other are good ideas, besides we have proposed different "premium" non-power advantages in certain topics, I am sure Administration is well aware of all these.

Episode 63 of the V-LOG is here

Yea, apart from that, the cost for fully upgrade the paint is more than 0,5 million crystals. 500K LOL :D Who's gonna do it?

I don't think so, everything is random.. Players, discounts etc...

Episode 63 of the V-LOG is here

Dude, your thought is not valid. You say that after the premium buyers get their extra xp they will rank up fast leaving you free to enjoy the game, right? Well, what about other players, new to the game, that will get the premium account? And others after those... and others after those... and so on, and so forth. There will ALWAYS be premium players with us, beating us with their superior combos, their MUed combos, their variety of paints (or the premium paint) and above all, their unlimited drugs. So, don't ask players to stop complaining. If Tanki said that along with premium accounts it would remove supplies kits, I would be the first to give them an upvote (R.I.P. Downvotes) a like! But, no, they keep the drugs and they ADD the premiums... Just what some players say: pay-to-win. No pay, no joy.

I believe that much will clear in your minds if you ask yourself why companies that produced disk games turned to internet and created MMOgs. Apart from other reasons, there is this: In previous pc games, the player has to face virtual opponents, bots, what we call environment. The so called PvsE (while games like Tanki are PvsP - player vs player). PvsE games have one major disadvantage. The AI included is restricted to one level that is not very satisfactory. I mean, one can fight a cluster of "bad guys', including the mean "Boss" at the end of the level, but once you do this a couple of times then the opponents (AI) become predictable and the game gets boring. The graphics have advanced a lot, but Artificial Intelligence not so much. Environment can never be so creative as to produce a big variety of challenges for the skilled players. Then, there is the possibility of a LAN game, where players play against players. Wow! Great improvement! Now the "enemy" is creative, it can alter their strategies and methods, and playing is not boring after a few rounds.. There you go, MMOgs are born. So, bear in mind, that non buyers may play for "free", but they provide a valuable service to the company: they "lend" their mind, their creativity and their time to produce satisfactory opponents for other players, including the buyers. So, in a way, the company uses the wide non buyers' base to create the playing environment that will make the game challenging. Thus, no non buyer should feel guilty for "not sustaining" the company. Because that is simply not true. Everybody contributes to this game, and thus everybody is entitled to satisfaction, fun and even victory! Take that into consideration, players, mods and developers alike.

No test drive, just the offer for discount: Too bad I no longer spend real money to purchase crystals... -_-

Are YOU on something atm? Try to kill an M4 titan - thunder - premium paint* on DA, with your smoky / firebird / freeze / isida / vulkan / twins and if you do, I will quit Tanki. And if you ask "why M4 plus DA plus repairs on hand?" I will answer "because that's what top buyer is. All of that together" So, stop trolling the topic, by now you've proved what a good kid you are. <_< *and a couple of repair kits at hand

I find kinda difficult to see all this quarrel, including severe censorship as a poll or query. It's more like too much trouble to handle and have to do a retreat on something. No offense. Besides, poll / query gets BEFORE the update. AFTER the update it's called response from customers :D As for mults, you might be right in what you say - I don't really know - but it's also very possible that multing just pushes players to be more effective in terms of score, thus promotes drugging, which in turn creates lots of money for Devs. I can't imagine why else they have done zip for dealing with that issue.. They even rejected any measure of IP recording that would lead to the physical person that uses mult accounts. They hardly responded to Kick2 topic with a serious and honest comment. All in all, they haven't persuaded me that they care for this issue.

Episode 63 of the V-LOG is here

Well, that was NOT what WE wanted. That was what YOU wanted. What WE wanted was remove the protection altogether. What WE want still, is BRING BACK THE DOWN-VOTE. If Tanki does that - it won't of course -_- - then it will prove that it listens to players. But, let's take one step further. One indication of sloppiness is a hasty announce of decisions and - after a day of complains - another announce that cancels the first decision. I wish Tanki didn't try to appear as so "democratic". After all it's their business and they have every right to do whatever they decide... and bear the consequences. Expecting always the approval of the players - players that are mostly under aged - is a sign of uncertainty. They give the impression that they don't really know where they're going, or if they do, they don't know whether players will accept that goal. A serious company would measure the consequences of a proposed update, would possibly perform even some kind of poll or query, it would even launch a test server on that update and then it would decide what to do. And once decided, it would stick to that decision. A serious company would not tolerate major issues in every day game (multing, drugging etc) just because they happen to bring in more money. A serious company would strive for satisfied customers, as all quality manuals indicate. I 'd love to see Tanki belonging to such a company.

I wonder, are we talking for the same game here? We have produced tons of constructive criticism, game feedback and multiple solutions for a bunch of game issues. What we didn't see is that "great relationship with the community" you mention. What we saw was ... nothing. Absence of Administration and in the rare occasions they showed up, it was only to treat us ironic comments. Is there any better proof that this game doesn't care at all what the players want? Enough with the hypocrisy here! -_-

Episode 63 of the V-LOG is here

You say we must be positive but (Devs) having made the game a buyers heaven isn't reason enough for us to provide positive feedback. You say there are some 500.000 active MONTHLY accounts, but in every day's log top is below 80.000. Assuming that most players play at least 3-4 days a week, we conclude a much smaller sum of real physical people playing Tanki. Most of the devoted players, the "every-day-ers" are contributing to the community, they at least read the forum and most of them post a comment for a topic that interests them, weekly v-log included. Thus, the main reaction of forum attendants is both statistically significant and adequate representative for the rest that don't participate to forum. Concluding that forum majority is by no means game minority. Many individual efforts have been made so far by players, in regard to every-day's most common issues (drugging, multing, hacking, raiding etc.). Problems have been recorded, possible solutions have been figured out, and all these through the thunderous absence of Administration representatives. They have made us the honour to visit the topics occasionally only to hint that we have no clue in regard to the game and its needs. On a technical level that maybe true, but on the common experience level it is fault. Players do have a practical and realistic idea about the game and their difference of opinions is due to different morality and cash-ability. So their opinions are valid and even if they are not technical suitable, they deserve a kind and honest answer. In other words, the positive attitude you require is often given to Devs, but the response is - so far - rare, rude and arrogant. So, you might start looking for positiveness on the other end of the rope. Not to mention that for Tanki, we are its customers and its future sales depend on its relation to us. So far, Tanki's respond to its customers (apart from the top customers) is disappointing. Many times we have pointed out that selling only power to buyers is wrong and is leading to extremely narrowing the players base. That is not a hypothesis, it's a fact, based on the daily log. Still Tanki HQs can't digest this. Selling cosmetics as an alternative source of income was proposed by several players and Tanki started to move to that direction, but not to replace one source of income with another, just to ADD one more source of income. That is both wrong and disrespectful. All the above, people, is positive feedback. From devoted players, for the sake of this game. If you don't like it, it's your problem. You - as a company - must find the solutions to satisfy your customers. We, the customers, have contributed enough and have endured enough. Unity is your last chance. If you launch a new Tanki with better graphics and same economy as the old, you will get nowhere. Do as you like, in fact you may provide this new paint of 20% protection and you may watch daily log tumble towards 40.000 log ins. Maybe then you realize that you are on the wrong path.

Hey T.O.T.A.L.W.A.R, of course not all arabs are rich.. I just wanted to make a point that soon only the rich players will be around, sorry if I insulted you or anybody else. Obviously, there are huge monetary differences even among people of the same country, One man makes 20 times more than what another one makes. But turning the game into a rich man's world is not well accepted by the rest of us.. :)

Here we go, another dubious change... no more downvotes... now? how are we going to express our disapproval? I know, Kirov said that they wanted to make everyone really write an argument, not just downvote the topic.. but if so, why put the "like" button? Why not letting everyone write their agreement as well? lol Square logic.. :D So, R.I.P. massive disapproval. As for premium accounts, I don't really object. Seems fine to me, getting all that boost in xp, and crystals..... well, not really in regard to crystals.. Imagine: this unique 20% all inclusive paint, plus the extra crystals, plus the usual benefits of a top buyer, all these equal to even more MUs, even more supplies kits, even more combos and paints... in other words, same recipe is going on and on. The real change will come from a shift in economy that won't give so much power to buyers. For example, the evil developer (as he himself likes to call himself) says that no player would be interested in the unique paint if there was no protection... but why should there be a special paint? Isn't the XT cosmetic enough? Why not the player just wear one of his own paints? I don't like to accuse Tanki for being interested in making money. That's perfectly fine. It's a company, they sell a product, they do it for money. I don't like either to accuse them of making too much money. That's perfectly ok too. But I accuse them that they have chosen sources of income (economy) that creates too much unbalance in the game. Too big the differences between top buyers and all the rest, including small buyers. Which leads to all the more players realizing and saying that TO has become a pay-to-win game. That is, without spending money, there is no fun after the first few ranks. That is what bothers players. So, I certainly hope that in Unity, there will be another approach in game economy, one that will be more balanced in terms of power between top buyers and the rest. Otherwise, they can pretty well terminate the English community and create an Arab one, for their customers to express themselves.
