My guess is that they are not going to expend the time, with Unity waiting in the wings. In fact, making Tanki BETTER THERE than it is HERE might be the whole idea. -

One size cannot fit all on the CP battles! On Polygon and similar 1-CP battles, you cannot make 100 points in 15 minutes. On Madness (7 CP's), you could score 100 points in 3 minutes (with one strong team) I think if you take the maximum that can be scored (6 per CP per minute), and let the battle end at 2/3 the time limit, you can end an unequal battle where the losing team has no chance. Limit = 4 x time x CP e.g. Polygon 15 minute = 60, 30 minute = 120, 60 minute = 240 Monte Carlo 15 minute = 300, 30 minute = 600, 60 minute = 1200 Madness 15 minute = 420, 30 minute = 840, 60 minute = 1680 These scores would be reached in 10, 20, or 40 minutes by an unopposed team. -

The only problem I foresee is the same one that occurs when there is no opposing team: teams will just not score. I have seen players deliberately hold the flag and reported them to no avail. If there is no opposition, you score no points for captures. If there are only one or two opponents, then we get spawn killing, not a desire to end the battle earlier. However, this might reduce raiding if you can reach the necessary number of captures: a few times on Massacre the opponents left, my teammates left, and I was stranded until some new enemies came along and stole the battle fund. :( -
Where is CORPSEGRINDER when you need him?? I got a mission today that paid speed boosts and mines. Feh! I got too many of both. With the free change, I got a GOLD BOX mission. Now I had to pay more attention and plan a strategy so as not to waste a mission. I went to Polygon DM (Pro) where they are famous for KILLING people just as the box lands! But I waited and followed a particularly sturdy Titan Twins as he moved in for the box. He and six other tanks were immediately killed before the box touched down, and I rolled through the corpses to grab it!

What goes around comes around. Took a Gold in Polygon DM by shoving a gray Hornet out of the way. Then in Serpuhov, I was nesting on a Gold Box when a Titan who we'd been killing managed to bump me at the last second. No twofer today.

The general reason is that for higher ranks, you need LOTS more crystals for upgrades, so higher ranks get higher-paying missions. Otherwise, you would have to spend a lot of real money to afford upgrades to hulls, turrets, and paints (yes, paints are a real expense to get decent protection out of them).

I think they did reduce the 9,999 kills to half what it was, 42 or 45K crystals. It took me two weeks to do mine, 600 to 800 kills a day. I don't want to waste more crystals than I earn!

There's your problem right there. Do you really need to have 5 accounts??? You would rank up a lot faster if you concentrated on 1. And I'm sure your teammates would rather you didn't jump ship.

Disappearing battles Any idea why this happens? You see one of the two battles in the list, or the other, but never both. To see the 3rd Parma, you had to enter an RU1 battle and then leave. I saw the same thing with two different Dictator Isidas. I know they are tough, but zero damage from a direct hit is kinda improbable.

Yes, I figured that in already. Even if Picasso reduced the 550 by the full 45% he would still have had to have the maximum hull protection to have even 12 health left, according to my chart. Assuming he hadn't been hit already and fully recharged. Another example at Dusseldorf this morning. One Hunter took -1650 and didn't die, another one was hit by 6 railgun shots while wearing Needle. An Isida (I sneaked on his team) was wearing Mars (!) and hit by a railgun, and his health stayed exactly what it was! Shortly thereafter, a change in the battle occurred (to bright daylight) and I was totally FPS-lagged out of the battle, or I could have gotten video. I suspect there are some players who have hacked the armor programming and are keeping it a close secret. Some Hornets are not even displaying the Double Armor above their tanks and survive ridiculously large attacks by multiple enemies. I am unable to explain the variance in Kill/Loss ratios here between fairly equally MUed Gizmos, where the Reds had been dominating other Gizmos earlier in the same battle. (cough) For a nominal charge of 5000 crystals (cough) You will probably have to CREATE one of your own non-drugging PRO battles. There are never enough. Many battles are set up as PRO so they can make them "unending" with some high number of points or kills before they end (ultimately the famous 999's). And still allow drugs.

If you want to see REAL DRUGGING (nonstop right now by the Red Team), go to RU1 server when the Edinburgh CTF 999 game is played. I haven't seen one player not using ALL of the drugs although it would be a narrow window to keep them all going at the same time, usually at the Blue Flag. I suspect the battle has deliberately turned off the Smart Supplies - why this is possible, even encouraged by the site, is obvious. I went on for Blue, used my strongest M3+, and killed two of the Reds, but there were 8 more.

Shot an M3+ Hunter without armor (max 315) wearing Picasso paint (30% off Shaft) with an M3+ shaft DD max power = 275 x 2 = 550 damage. This should have delivered 550-165 = 385 damage to a 315 hull, and yet he survived. Is there some armor hack we don't know about that makes this happen?? Or have the specs been altered (Shaft nerfed) enough to account for this?

I think you just discovered the REAL REASON why the XT versions are being hyped: you still have to pay to MU them! (Devious Devs!) I came across one on a DM that was only MU'ed 3 steps, and everybody was killing him.

Boy, did I learn a lesson: I had a mission I really didn't like, which paid 1675 crystals, so I changed it. And got one paying 23 Speed Boosts. :o WTS! I already have 18000 that I'll never use! So I changed again (837 crystals) and got a mission to catch a Gold Box. I do that about twice a WEEK. So I changed it again (837 crystals), and completed a mission paying 1675 crystals. Grand result of that mission I didn't like: I won 1 whole crystal. I'll never do that again unless it's originally Speed Boost or Gold Box (stupid missions). :(

The whole "50%" has different connotations. If it were 50% on each of the three missions, you would get 1 or 2 a day. If they mean you have a 50% chance that ONE MISSION pays crystals, then you might not get 4 in a week!

I joined in December, so I missed the whole "crystals dropping from the sky" era. Except those rare Gold Boxes. By "balance", the devs mean that they see income from buying crystals dropping below their ROI, which is the Return on Investment that any business needs to survive. It's not like they get government subsidies, or charitable donations. But what that ROI is, and how it relates to the cost of implementing Unity, and how much the bosses are getting paid (it's a bunch)...those are going to stay a secret. Suffice to say, if they stop getting a certain amount of cash every week (many thousands of dollars / millions of rubles), the freebies will get cut back. I don't like it, you don't like it, but it's better than making bad changes to the game itself. :( Or, like two other major sites, ads out the wazoo...

I think you mean "please everyone" ;) Okay, why not 1 hard mission daily and two easy ones? Bigger rewards for longer-playing tankers, quick rewards for those who are here less. I mean, this is from Russia, and it is not rocket science to figure this out.
