    That's a good intention! I would say if they decide on 5 maps per week (many players play each day), that are the only maps given out in map-missions. So lets say week 1 the random generator pulls 2 maps from the "favorite map pool", and 3 more from the "less fevorite map pool". Then those 5 maps are used to create "gain XP in map xyz" missions. During the active time on a server you find about 70 battles; if a third of them are mission related, then you have 25 of such battles; which gives in average 5 (!) of them per mission-map on each server. This should be plenty to choose from, without having the risk to get boring.
  2. M3, M4, ... - I would do this: 1st: have a table with all turrets and stats you need. Every stat gets one line. Columns from left to right: turret name / stat name / chosen value / M0 value / M1 value / M2.... M3 value / M4 value (I would enter only M3 and M4, but I would craft all columns :p) 2nd Above that table you have a drop-down selection cell. There you chose: M0, M1, M2, M3, M4 <- [chosen_M_level] 3rd For each stat in table from 1st you enter in the column [chosen value] a formula, that checks the [chosen_M_level] from above, goes to the right and takes the propper value into the [chosen value] column. 4th All other formulas and calculations base on the values from the [chosen value] column. So you can craft the things only once, and switch the stats from M3 to M4 with the flick of your.. keyboard :p

    If he creates a battle-button-battle he will not play his favorite map. If he creates a Barda battle, it is empty. It would be cool that all subsequent Battle-Button-Users would join in there. If he means to play some special mode, he cuold have made it private.

    in teammodes: It gives 15 in total to all members that dealt damage on that tank within the last 15 seconds before the kill. All beyond 15 seconds is/was wasted. If only one tank dealt damage and the kill is his alone, he will get 10 xp (those 15sec could have been changed to more or less in the meanwhile.. they are not very informative on such details. But the timer is definitely here.)

  7. Did you use a firebird? Then the "2" comes maybe from "lowest damage dealt direct" + "lowest damage dealt by afterburn". (1+1=2)

    If you play all LEgends vs each other on Desert DM XP/BP, then there are no noobs (except me mabye). You just play the gamemode as it was ment to be. Still the "feature" kicks in seriously.

    ^ I've tried it - It gave me a personal discount on supplies; they were off 80% :o :o :o !!!!! I know, that it's not Cedric's responsibility. There is this black haired guy, that has recently improoved his haricut (no ironics), that seems to be responsible for marketing. But as I have no red phone to call him, I thought I ask Cedrik to give him the hint ;)
  11. TTK chart for lights and heavies: if you place the turret name at the x axis, you can simply plot 3 graphs in one chart. This would be a very usefull overview Shots2Kill You could use a stacked bar chart (base = light hulls, middle = +additional shots needed to kill a medium, top = +additional shots needed to kill a heavy) TTK-vs-Protections. I edited the post where I asked for TTK-vs-Protections. The idea was that the tables gives the protection that is needed, in order to survive a certain number of shots. Giving the TTK too makes sense here, as surviving one more railgun shot gives you more time, then suriving one more rico bullet. For Rico it would make sense to calc for each +2 bullets per line; for Twins maybe for +4 bullets per line. Also for Fire, Freeze, Isida and Vulcan steps in +1 second make sense. Maybe lets skip the MUs.. too complex to start with. but as said (!) - I don't ask you to do it, but if you like to do it, you would help quite a lot of players.
  12. No, I consider both things as usefull: the #shots as well as the TTK. Number of shots is valuable for campers and for Rico pilots; the TTK for all pilots. Maybe you can craft a table like this, as graphs would be too nonlinear: railgun Thunder .... #shots TTK prot. #shots TTK prot 3 8,7sec 0% 4 ... 0% 4 13 sec 17% 5 ... 19% 5 17,5 sec 32% 6 ... 35% ... So the table tells the reader, which protection is needed to survive a certain number of shots by a turret. btw, is yout TTK for railgun correct? It seems to me, that you just summed up the energy-reload times, and not the pre-charge before the shots. But maybe I am mistaken here, as it's late already :P

    I'm aware you do not accept requests for sales, but maybe you like to consider to sell the pro pass 50% off in a few days, when the free pro passes run out. Just to make the start easier for those tankers, that preffer to chose their own map, that is not yet displayed in the lobby.

Regarding those two graphs that show TTK and #shots to kill: the followin things would be very usefull: - same for light + heavy hulls - how much % protection do I need on a specific turret, to last +1 shot, +2 shots, +3 shots ... That's not for me, but a lot of players think about "how much MUs shall I spend on that protection module..". Therefore such stats would be very, very usefull. (actually it needs M4 stats too, but M3s would be great to start with)

    I guess the thing with the jump in monte carlo is history now.. I have a Wasp M3 and I can't do the jump without a nitro. I completely agree to you about the form factor.. Hunter has the edge here. I hope Hazel sticks to his word and the swaps of hunter and Viking are history now. I've to try to get along with my Viking M3+13 now, as I do not want to spend crystals on another hunter.. I rather get a Titan or Mammut and a Twins. Lets see. Overall they made a lot of players unhappy. Light hulls make only half the fun they used to, and the Hunters + Viking users are pissed too.

SpitFire, I think you should check the Freeze row, the damage per clip should be different from friebird Tani_S, the DPS graphs, do they count in the reload times for a Hammer Clip? Or just the reload per shot?

    You can not press space until the energy bar has reloaded. This takes 3.65sec for a Rail ;2 When it's full reloaded, you press the space bar the turret charges up (white light spot, delay time). This takes 1.1sec for a Railgun M2. After those 1.1seconds the Railgun projectile flies out of the barrel. The wiki names them a little different.. well whatever. The overall cycle time between shots is 4.75sec for a Railgun M2. if you can fit in 12 full cycles, then 13 shots fly ;)

    When I wrote about Viking was superior to Hunter before the last rebalance, I was talking about M3s. the impact force of M3 turrets is so hard, that a Hunter did not stand a chance, while the speed difference (pre balace again) was not thaaaat high. I once set up a race M3 hunter vs M3 viking; Map red Alert, from red base through canyon until the bridge that spans across. There was _NO_ noticable difference. The Hunter had a slighly higher topspeed, but the viking get into gears faster (better acceleration), so that in the end they reached the line at the same time. And honesty -> I don't like to drive through the open for longer distances than that. For all other battle scenarios I preffer acceleration, as it allows to dodge and fool the enemy. The top-speed advantage of a M3 hunter (pre-balnce) did not allow you to outrun bullets anyways. As the speed was so simmilar, weight and acceleration were important.. and this was aclear edge for viking. The number of M3/M4 vikings in higher ranks stated this too. There are almost no M3/M$ hunters up there. For a reason.
