In order to get off 2 quick shots - this is my understand from the stats provided... Before: 0.15 (charge) = shot then ... 5 second reload + 0.15 charge = 5.30 total seconds to shoot 2x Now: 0.15 (charge) = shot then... 3.5 second reload + 0.15 min charge + 2.85 penalty charge = 6.50 seconds to shoot 2x So there is a slight nerf of 6.50 - 5.30 = 1.20 seconds. Please advise if above not correct.

Got Bobriusk once. rest were the usual suspects... Brest x 2 Red Alert Osa Silence Sandbox

The battle-mode, mission specific (score, supply, crystals) and reward (crystals or supply) all seem to be random. The amount is even random - within certain ranges. Have seen 3 RKs or 8 RKs for pretty much same mission. All that aside - the batteries are a sucky reward, and I only do it to advance weekly stages - and only if a battle mode I don't hate. And is the system trying to promote RGB (because no-one plays it voluntarily)? I keep getting those modes, even after I change one.
-
If they are sitting there and softening up all the flag defenders in a CTF, they are a considerable threat - since those defenders have no way of taking cover. The game provides very little overhead cover - unlike what the 12 other weapons have to deal with. It's not just about kills - a magnum (or 2) can make it quite easy for flag-runners to get the flag and escape.
-
Yes - we understand that. But - If MM places me in an ongoing battle with only 3 minutes left, why would I waste my time there if there's a possibility I get ZERO stars? I've seen end-of-battle screen-shots where no one on losing team got any stars. That's just silly. Should be minimum of 1 star for staying in and finishing the battle.
-
If a rail can pop out, hit a target, and get back under cover without getting damaged, that is called skill. And yet, your magnum can lob shots over that cover, damage the rail, and not even expose itself to the rail. You don't see that as a huge advantage? As for "blindly" lobbing - I was speaking more to other side of large maps. Yes, you can alter the map-view and target enemies you should not be able to see - basically an invisible spotter for your artillery. Plus you can see where flag carrier is - even through buildings and mountains, and lob shots at them - without any danger to the Magnum.
-
Obviously it is not as easy as you claim since other posters have voiced displeasure about getting the threshold. I'm an average player and have had multiple times that, due to MM or team compositions, I have ended up with zero stars. And... you are just reinforcing the reasons why Magnum does need to be nerfed.
-
Are you reading anything that people are posting? It's entirely possible that you can score < 100 when... 1) the other team is dominating so badly the only thing you can do is die+spawn - You can finish First on a bad team and still get ZERO stars. 2) it can easily take > 2 minutes to score 100. You do realize there's a minimum threshold to obtain even 1 star, right?
-
Well I guess not every player can be as good as you
-
You missed the point. One can often get ZERO stars because... 1) You spend more time spawning than you do earning points and 2) there is not enough time in battle when you arrive to get the minimum required score.
-
Yup - stars is all-or-nothing. They don't give you much of an incentive to stay in an ugly battle, and getting placed in a partial battle by MM? Asta-la-vista.
-
For moi... 750 score in RGB for... 2 or 3 batteries. Don't like RGB and don't have a drone. Hit change... and get... earn 800 crystals in RGB for 3 batteries. BLECCHHH.

So - welcome to the world of Vulcan. Takes 3 seconds to begin to fire. Often dead before one bullet fired. :( At least magnum can get off a low-charge shot that does regular damage. Believe it or not - Twins has longer range :o Why would anyone pick Ricco over Twins?
-
Rico projectile speed feels like it's been reduced as well. Even with MFS alt equipped the plasma balls seem to travel slower.
-
Except - Magnum can't do consecutive "quick" (low power) shots. If it does a quick direct fire shot and does not kill target - it has a long wait for next shot.
-
Well since Twins has longer range than Ricco now, why would anybody pick Ricco over Twins? Because on 20% of the maps you might get to use the bounce effectively?
-
You think it is easy for a Rail to line up multiple targets while making use of that "unlimited instant range"? How often does this actually happen? A LOT less often than magnum blindly lobbing shots near a flag and watching the counter as it does splash damage to anyone trying to defend that flag. Magnum can damage opponents while hiding in it's base, without ever exposing itself to danger. Rail, as a LOS weapon has to at least come out of it's hiding spot to fire, and can be targeted in return.
-
What? is this for real? :D  All you (Tanki) is doing is increasing our waiting time proportion to playing time. Currently I wait 1 minute (those avg wait time of 21 sec is a farce) to play 10 minutes (if I'm lucky). Going forward I will wait 1 minute to play 9 minutes of battle. By the above logic, if you reduce battles to lengths of 5 minutes, my waiting time would be approaching zero, or if I'm really lucky negative 20 seconds. You know - I gain 20 seconds of life for every battle I play. Healthiest form of entertainment - EVAH!
-
So nerfing Ricco ranges - by 30% - that's brutal! I bought Ricco + MFS alt so I could have a medium-to-long range effective turret. Now ruined. TO already has enough "short-range" turrets... Isida /Fire /Freeze /Twins /Hammer. Yeesh. And lowering MM battles to 9 minutes? What is the point? In many battles players are not even "active" until 1-2 minutes into the battle? Can players not even pay attention to something for 10 minutes?

Thing is - you only need 1 Dictator to make your team better - it has (I believe) the only OD that can be shared. Having said that - I would not go out and buy Dictator because of that, especially if I have already invested in a medium hull. Would not let any of the ODs help decide which hull to buy... -
If they were smart - they would just MU Hunter m0. Gives you Hunter m1 early and that is better than Viking m1. And even though Viking m1 unlocks earlier, Hunter m0 10/10 competes well until Hunter m1 unlocks. I'm not seeing the disparity of Viking over Hunter in mid-ranks like there was 2 yrs ago.

It seems you would favor Viking OD over Dictator OD if it is 2x fire-rate? Consider though... - Dictator gets a free repair kit and free mine - You would have cool-down on DA + DD combo - Dictator can share and up-power team-mates - I suspect other ODs can not share Overall, without knowing specifics, I'd say Dictator OD is more flexible. You can use it for attacking, or for things like capping a flag. Being able to use supplies to approach base, including RK, then running off with flag and activating OD for ALL supplies once more is quite effective. -

It would have to be quite high to even come close to Dictator power. Especially if you can't share it. And other question is - how long does it last? -
1) I agree with you - that is totally silly as well 2) You don't see it often - thank goodness 3) It is one of them against many of us - again - thank goodness 4) those power-buyers tend to rank up quite fast and you don't see them for long - once again - thank goodness 5) I agree - the ability to buy smky m1 at such a low level and upgrade to m2 so fast is.... ridiculous

Who gives a fart if you had to fight Legends as a captain once. It was wrong then and it is wrong now. Nothing, and I mean nothing can excuse that. You have no logic to justify it at all - so please stop trying to defend it. It makes you look foolish.
