Then the incompetent Devs did it wrong. It should be coded just like when setting up a custom battle, and the bar with ranks is only 5 wide for whomever sets up the group. Not 5 wide either side. 5 wide TOTAL. Seriously, it can't be that complicated...

Long-range weapons should never be equal to short-range turrets for DPS... Their range makes up for that. Possibly your suggestion might work - but - then it becomes a turret only use-able by 5%-10% of the players? Anyone who already bought the turret - and can't handle it going forward - would certainly be livid. Reducing a turret's power certainly makes players unhappy. Making it almost un-usable - well - there would be backlash. And this is coming from someone who thinks the turret should not be in the game...

Definitely have to keep the 150% total protection - or even less. But not sure why "majority of Legends with full sets of modules" would be outraged with the idea. They would benefit more than anybody... no? -
With 27,000 players online, there is no excuse for Match-Maker to put me into a CTF battle that is already 4-0. :angry:

The "average waiting times" are a joke. Last couple weeks it's either 6 seconds or 2+ minutes (using multiple attempts). That in no way averages out to "20 seconds" or whatever the average is at the time. I have a feeling they do not include the times for people that hit "exit" before they get into a battle. So if people just let it run every time until they get into a battle, those "average wait times" would go up substantially.

At m2 and above, unless the Freeze can ambush the fire and keep out of the flames, it loses to firebird more often than not. Firebird is that OP.

How do you figure that? You see a lot of Vikings because many of us had already invested too much into Viking to make the switch. The weakness becomes so apparent when you have a Ricco trying to fight a twins in Industrial zone. Could barely get a shot on the twins as it's ridiculous impact kept turning my Viking. Sad. When I started an alt account, guess which medium hull I have invested in....

Turning the turret makes all weapons more effective. Suggesting Ricco damage should be adjusted because some ppl can't turn the turret makes no sense. Should Twins damage be lowered for anyone right in front of the tank? You know - to encourage them to turn it? Since you can't pick your maps - good luck on Massacre. Ah... never mind - had confused above conversation with original idea. -
Issue may not be match-maker itself. Likely the way it's been implemented. Many issues. For starters, there may not be enough players overall to adopt MM properly. - because of this, they are forced to have wider rank-spreads than would be optimal. Rank spread of 8 makes for poor battles. - Players often have favorite Battle Modes, or missions related to such. Because of this filter, the pool of players available for each battle is diminished = longer wait times + unbalanced ranks. - And they keep adding Battle Modes. MM should just be comprised of DM, TDM, CP and CTF. This would ensure larger pool of players for each mode in MM - JUG, Assault and RGB should be relegated to Pro Battles (also gives more incentive to buy Pro-Battle Pass or Premium)

They both seem to kill medium hulls ~ same time. Then Twins takes over. And I agree twins has advantage when considering.... - hull size - protection - RKs The continuous fire eventually overcomes the module protections. Turrets like Ricco and Hammer struggle against heavy hulls with modules due to the relatively long reload. if they can't kill target in one "clip" odds are against them.

In CTF even one Magnum player just has to lob shots near the flag - numbers indicate you are getting hits. So it's like having an unkillable spotter. Magnum may not outright kill the defenders, but it softens them up enough for attackers to have much easier time getting away with flag. Is it worth it for defenders to select Magnum module, even if there's only 1? Huge benefit to Magnum team. Worst part is - defenders have no way of hiding from the hit or large-area splash. Defenders can use cover to hide from all turrets except magnum.

Support is one of it's roles. Else the turret would be totally dependent on it's Team, and no one would play a turret anchored solely to a Team. Isida does enough damage to be useful outside of a team. Can do a lot damage in 5 seconds before running out of juice. Heavy hulls with high isida protection can be an issue though. But many turrets with limited "ammo" have similar issue.

How? This would nerf the turret on half the maps. What does not turning a turret have to do with bounces? -

Had same issue last night. Two different DM missions and it took me ~ 5 attempts to get into 1 DM battle, probably wasting 2-3 minutes of time. Before MM, I could spend that 2-3 minutes of time to search for a battle that was better suited than what MM gives me. -

Does not take 5-10 minutes, but - it is more of a pain to find maps you like. Displaying by time is silly.

They should still be circling you - it's a double hurt with slow spin-up AND slow rotation. Even if you survive the first 3 seconds you cant's track the enemy. Really trash means it can do some damage before getting destroyed. Currently - you can spawn with enemy near, and literally do no damage at all in time it takes to kill you.

I'm not sure what you mean. Striker at no point has better reload than smoky. Striker also does less damage per missile than Thunder. Sure the salvo does a lot more - but - has reload + aiming time with laser. Does not get put to use much.

You keep bringing up Magnum. <_< The fact that someone does not play up to your expectations is not the same thing as a design flaw. Magnum is a design flaw. Which can be fixed. Good luck "fixing" people.

This makes no sense. "Legend" is just another increment - not a status. So long as no rules are being broken, players "deserve" whatever rank they have the experience for. If you don't like the players you are playing with, you are free to... exit that battle or try another game.
